We are back, for another version of the Daily Dribble written by LineStarTyler.

Today's Slate

We have a 7 game slate today due to the CHI/TOR game being postponed. TOR is dealing with an outbreak of Covid and will not have enough players to field a team.

This slate is pretty interesting, CHA may only have 8 players active, HOU still doesn't have a center, WAS continuous their hot streak, and the Knicks are in a terrific spot even though it's the slowest paced game on the slate.

Jaylen Brown- Questionable

Tyler Herro- Questionable

Jimmy Butler- Questionable

Dario Saric- Questionable

Davis Bertans - Questionable

Elfrid Payton - Doubtful

Gordon Hayward- Doubtful

Cody Zeller- Doubtful

The main thing to see here is that CHA could be very low on guys tonight,

and NYK are low on big men with Gibson and Robinson being out.

Tonight's Point Guard /Shooting Guard Notables

De'Aaron Fox DK $8.6 k | FD $8k

I love De'aaron tonight, he is pricey but has played 38 minutes in the last 4 and 38+ in 4 of the last 5. With Haliburton out, he also gets a slight usage bump up, and it's the highest total on the night.

Derrick Rose DK $5.7 k | FD $5.7k

His price has come up a bit but he still isn't priced high enough. Last game he played 38 minutes, but I don't expect that to happen again. I personally have him at about 31 minutes tonight and he's popping out a ton in my model. That with the upside of 34-36 I love it and will be using a lot of him. However, if Payton (doubtful) plays I will back off quite a bit.

Goran Dragic DK $5.4 k | FD $5.5k

Dragic gets a great matchup vs ATL today with Butler and Herro being questionable. I like Dragic even if both play and will love him if one of both of them sit out. I currently have both Herro and Butler playing but there is a real chance of one of them missing.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Today at SF it's another one of those days where I really don't like much so I will likely be paying down. Here are a few options that I like

Dillion Brooks DK $5.5 k | FD $5.2k- His minutes are back to 30 after a few games out due to injury.

Miles Bridges DK $4.7 k | FD $5.5k- CHA may only have 8 guys and could play 32-35 min in a great matchup. (Bridgers is my favorite of this bunch)

Justice Winslow DK $3.4 k | FD $3.9k- Plus matchup vs HOU in a high-scoring game. Winslow historically is about a .85fp/min player

Cody Martin DK $3.3 k | FD $3.6k- CHA may only have 8 guys and he played 25 minutes last game.

PJ Washington DK $5.9 k | FD $6k

PJ started the last game at Center when Zeller was out. That will likely happen again. Along with the extra minutes at Center Washington will have to play a lot because Hayward may also miss the game, CHA will be very depleted at their 4 and 5. Give me all the Washington I can get, if both guys are out.

Warning: I like PJ much more if he starts at C, If he's at PF I don't expect him to get a ton of extra minutes.

Julius Randle DK $9.5 k | FD $8.9k

Randle is definitely too cheap on FD. He is a legitimate all-star this year and coach Thibs plays him as many minutes as he can handle every game. Today the Knicks lack bigs with Robinson being hurt and now Taj Gibson out. Last game Noel and Randle both played 41 minutes after Gibson got hurt in the first quarter while I dont expect 41 again. 38 minutes vs a poor Det team is good enough for me. There is ceiling potential for him today.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Bam Adebayo DK $8.9 k | FD $8.7k

Atl just gave 31.5 to Tristan Thompson and 48 to Jarrett Allen. Sign me up for a high floor with a ceiling possibility. While I don't expect a 70 burger, high 40's + is very possible.

Nerlen Noel DK $4.8 k | FD $5.3k

I will admit I have too many Knicks in the write-up with it being the lowest-scoring game. But I can't get away, with their injuries and coach Thibs not scared to play his guys for 38 min every night; I love the spot. He played 41 last game, pretty much played the rest of the game after Gibson got hurt in the first. While it's crazy to expect that many minutes again, I can't forget that it's possible. Randle and Noel are the only guys who can play Center for the knickerbockers tonight.

My Strategy

The strategy is an interesting one tonight, I love the Knicks and Hornets due to injuries. However, you can't have too many of them. I may limit my lineups to two Knicks max, and with how cheap the Hornets are probably 3 max for them. I'm surprised I am not getting more Westbrook, Lebron, or Curry, but with Fox playing so many minutes lately I think he's underpriced, and that is bringing me to more balanced builds. I currently am getting a ton of Rose, Bridges, Fox, and Randle. If the news doesn't change this later this will be my core 4.
