Welcome to the Daily Dribble by LineStar Tyler. We have an interesting slate that could have a lot of moving pieces before lock due to multiple stars being questionable to play. Although Lebron and AD are questionable every game, so I do expect them to play.

We have a 5 game slate that is being headlined by a lot of injury news. It looks like Portland will have 9 active players, the Warriors are short Centers, and we have 3 superstars that are questionable in Lebron, AD, and Young.

I expect everyone that is questionable to play, but you never know what will happen in the NBA.

Tonight's Point Guard /Shooting Guard Notables

Jamal Murray DK $6.8 k | FD $7.8k

I was going to put John Wall here but it looks like he may have pretty high ownership and he will likely still be on a minutes restriction. So I am pivoting to Murray at a similar price. If Denver is able to win this game it will likely be because the playoff version of Jamal Murray shows up. LAL is a tough match-up, but Murray can exploit it and he has before.

Eric Gordon DK $5.8 k | FD $5.4k

With Oladipo out and John Wall likely to be held to 32 minutes or less, that means Gordon will run the offense for a decent portion of the game. Without Oladipo his usage comes up 3%, that combined with extra minutes put him in a good spot.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Rodney Hood DK $3.7 k | FD $4k

Hood, will see a big usage bump without Lillard in the lineup. At 3.7k and 4k, he will likely see 31-35 minutes.

Draymond Green DK $5.2 k | FD $5.8k

Without Wiseman and Looney, Draymond played 35 minutes on Tuesday. He hasn't been the same player as years before, but he racks up assists/rebounds. If he can manage to score a little he will blow out this price tag.

John Collins DK $7.3 k | FD $6.9k

Collins has been getting a few extra shot attempts a game without Hunter, I expect that to continue here. This pick does make me a little nervous as Collin's track record vs Utah has not been very good. However, I will be here because he has played 35+ minutes in 5 of 6 games and averages 1.19 FP/min.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Joel Embiid DK $10.2 k | FD $10.2k

Enes Kanter is awful on defense it is why very few teams have given him very many minutes. Now enters one of the best offensive centers in the league, I will take my shots here and hope for a 60 point night. Embiid did play last night though so double check that he plays tonight before your lineup locks.

My Strategy Tonight

I keep getting drawn to more of a balanced lineup with 1 stud and 1 value player rather than a lineup where I jam in multiple studs and a few bottom basement value guys.
