Today's Slate

We have a 9 game slate tonight that has a ton of value per usual in late-season NBA DFS. As various teams are preparing for the playoffs and others trying to see what they have to prepare for off-season moves. We have a few different games we can target tonight. SAC vs IND and WAS vs MIL are two that jump out with 240+ totals. Then we have a few other games with high totals, and these could go a big overlooked MEM vs MIN and PHO vs ATL. PHO has played lower-paced games for most of the season but they have stepped on the gas a bit lately with several high-scoring games in a row. For lower ownership, those last 2 games could be interesting.

Tonight's Point Guard /Shooting Guard Notables

Russell Westbrook DK $11 k | FD $11.2 k

In close games, Russell has been playing 40-42 min. He has also been in the perfect lineup 5 games in a row. Everyone knows how much he produces while on the court so I will leave it at that.

Facundo Campazzo DK $4.6 k | FD $5.5 k

Denver is severely hurting for guards, and steps in Campazzo. He will likely play 35 minutes and he has produced at a .78fp/min clip on the season, and that gets a little bit of a bump up with some of the other players out.

Collin Sexton DK $8.1k | FD $8.5k

Sexton has played 39 minutes the last two games, while his price is high he's on the court a ton and gets a huge usage bump without Garland on the court. Sexton will be a way to get different on this slate, he will have lower ownership but gets the same value boost as a lot of high-owned players today since Garland is out.

Delon Wright DK $5.6k | FD $5.2k

His price is wrong, he is too cheap. He will be super high-owned and he's in a great spot with lots of playing time due to Fox and Haliburton being injured. While I don't expect 55 on back-to-back nights low-mid 30's are a good probability.

You will have to decide to eat or fade the chalk with him tonight. This is a major make-or-break decision point on the slate. At his price he really needs 40+ to kill you, what are the odds he does it?

FD Lineup note: Cole Anthony is way too cheap on FD. I would have a ton of him there.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Kyle Anderson DK $5.6 k | FD $6.2k

Kyle has been sneaky productive all year long. He is back to playing 28-32 minutes a game and at that amount of playing time he is back in consideration. He has a great matchup and has produced at a 1.08 fp/min clip over his last 5 games. Against a poor MIN defense, my bet is he keeps that rolling.

Marvin Bagley DK $5.4 k | FD $6.5k

On DK I like him a lot. He rolled with him on Sunday for the tune of 39fp and we are back on him again today in one of the most attractive games on the night. His price on FD is high but I would still play him, although I would have a lot less exposure to him on FD. He produces at a 1.05fp/min clip and will likely play low 30-32 in minutes.

KJ Martin DK $3.9k | FD $4.7k

With Wood doubtful, I want some KJ. Make sure to pay attention to injury news and the starting lineup for Martin. If Wood plays then I would significantly reduce my exposure to him.

Davis Bertans DK $3.6k | FD $4.3k

Don't get me wrong he has been awful all season long. With Rui out his minutes should be there. This is also a good matchup for him, MIL is bad at protecting the 3pt line and that is where Davis shines, close your eyes add him to your lineup, and hope for the best.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Robert Williams DK $5.4k | FD $5.4k

Tristan Thompson is out, and BOS has no one else to play center. He has a ton of upside and will be going against the worst team in the league. I will be playing a ton of Williams and hoping BOS gives him some extra run.

Value Options

Daniel Gafford DK $4.3 k | FD $4.6k

Seth Curry DK $4k | FD $5.5 k (not on FD)

Anthony Gill or Chandler Hutchison DK 3.1/3.3k | FD $3.5k - Risky one, but could get extra run without Rui if you fade Bertans

Torrey Craig DK $3.7 k | FD $3.6k

Isaac Okoro DK $4.3 k | FD $4.2k

Ricky Rubio DK $4.2 k | FD $5.8k

My Strategy

I have not totally decided what I will do with Delon Wright yet. That is the big game theory decision of the day. Do you fade him or play him? If I play him my core will be Westbrook, Wright, Kj Martin, and Robert Williams.

If I fade Wright my core will be Westbrook, Williams, KJ Martin, and Campazzo. Essentially I would just be hoping Campazzo out scores Wright which I would say is not likely, however, if it happened I would be in a better spot than half of the field. I am leaning towards the Campazzo route.

To win a GPP you have to make some tough fades sometimes, and I think I might take a stand here. Wright is in an absolute terrific spot and will probably hit value at his price. Do not fade him just because I am, think about it on your own, and weigh the risk-reward.
