Main Slate Match-Ups w/ Game Totals & Point Spreads

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

💫PG Steph Curry, GSW | DK: $10.8k, FD: $10.4k | vs. LAC | GPP Preferred

He’s pricey, but Curry has appeared in the perfect lineup a slate-high five times in the last 30 days. He’s averaging 1.63 FPPM over his last five starts which is second among today’s guards. Only Luka Doncic (1.65 FPPM L5Gms) has averaged more and will carry a ~$2k price hike compared to Curry. Curry has also been absolutely stuffing the stat sheet this season with 7.1 APG and 6.7 RPG -- some of the best peripheral numbers of his career. This is a major pace-down spot for the Warriors but there will be no Paul George or Kawhi Leonard to worry about defensively. Overall, Curry stands out as a great GPP option with single-digit expected ownership.

💫PG/SG Shake Milton, PHI | DK: $5.5k, FD: $6k | @ CHA | Cash & GPP

Milton has put up at least 31.5 DKFP in both of his recent starts while playing 36+ minutes. He will continue to handle big minutes in the starting lineup due to a thin 76ers backcourt. The 76ers are on the second leg of a B2B, but even without Embiid, Harden, and Maxey available tonight, they sit as only +5 underdogs against the Hornets.

SG/SF Norman Powell, LAC | DK: $5.3k, FD: $5.1k | @ GSW | Cash & GPP

In 109.3 minutes with Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Luke Kennard off the floor this season, Powell has seen a huge +10.2% usage boost and +13.5 fantasy points per 48-minute increase. This is a significant pace-up spot against a Warriors team that ranks 2nd in the NBA in pace. Powell could slide into the starting lineup tonight, but even if he comes off the bench, he’s a strong bet to play 30+ minutes regardless. Powell has also been lighting it up recently with 26 points and 30 points scored in his last two games.

Other Guards to Consider:

PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC | DK: $10.2k, FD: $10.5k | vs. DEN | GPP Preferred

PG Tyrese Haliburton, IND | DK: $9.5k, FD: $9.4k | vs. MIN | Cash & GPP

PG/SG Josh Giddey, OKC | DK: $7k, FD: $6.8k | vs. DEN | Cash & GPP

💫PG Reggie Jackson, LAC | DK: $5.5k, FD: $5.5k | @ GSW | Cash & GPP

PG/SG Terrence Mann, LAC | DK: $3.4k, FD: $3.7k | @ GSW | Cash & GPP

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

SF/SG Anthony Edwards, MIN | DK: $8k, FD: $7.8k | @ IND | GPP Preferred

This is one of the juiciest match-ups on the slate that carries a close spread (MIN -2) and a monster total (237.5 O/U). Both teams rank top five in pace and Edwards should play upwards of 38 minutes here. Edwards is not the most consistent DFS asset but he has an incredible ceiling and has been routinely putting up 40+ FP performances recently. He's a great option for GPPs.

💫PF/C Ben Simmons, BKN | DK: $6.1k, FD: $7.6k | @ TOR | Cash & GPP/DK Preferred

Is Ben Simmons back? What could possibly go wrong in believing so? Given his recent production, he is priced appropriately on FanDuel but he’s simply too cheap on DraftKings after pouring in 48.25, 39.0, and 44.75 DKFP in his last three games. He has been excellent as a rebounder and shot facilitator. He’s also showing a bit more confidence in attacking the basket and scoring. This is not a sexy match-up against the Raptors but they have not been all that great at defending opposing PFs recently and they continue to miss the defensive presence of Pascal Siakam, who remains sidelined likely until next week.

PF Aaron Gordon, DEN | DK: $5.6k, FD: $6.7k | @ OKC | Cash & GPP

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are both candidates to sit out the second leg of the B2B due to conditioning purposes. The Nuggets may also be without Michael Porter Jr. (heel/questionable) while Bones Hyland and Jeff Green have both been ruled out. So we could be looking at a very shorthanded Denver squad tonight. If Jokic and Murray sit, Gordon could be viewed as the top-scoring option in the lineup. He has standalone value even if those other guys suit up, particularly on DraftKings at only $5,600. Consider him more of a GPP play for now but a definite cash game candidate pending further injury news.

Other Forwards to Consider:

SF/PF Lauri Markkanen, UTA | DK: $8.1k, FD: $7.9k | vs. DET | GPP Preferred

💫SF OG Anunoby, TOR | DK: $7.6k, FD: $8.2k | vs. BKN | Cash & GPP

SF/PF Bojan Bogdonovic, DET | DK: $6.5k, FD: $5.9k | @ UTA | GPP/FD Preferred

💫SF/PF Harrison Barnes, SAC | DK: $5.3k, FD: $5.9k | @ SAC | Cash & GPP

💫SF/SG Cedi Osman, CLE | DK: $3.8k, FD: $3.8k | vs. POR | Cash & GPP

Centers to Consider 🏀

PF/C Karl Anthony-Towns, MIN | DK: $9k, FD: $9k | @ IND | GPP Preferred

KAT looks to be firmly in play at a flat $9k on both sites tonight. As mentioned with Anthony Edwards, this is a terrific match-up for DFS purposes thanks to its extremely fast combined pace and high total. The Pacers have had their fair share of issues defending bigs, ranking 28th against opposing PFs over their last 20 games. We’ve seen KAT post a low floor in recent games but he’s also a player who can coast to a 50+ FP performance with relative ease. This is set up to be a vintage 50+ FP KAT game if you ask me.

💫C Paul Reed, PHI | DK: $3.7k, FD: $5.4k | @ CHA | Cash & GPP/DK Preferred

It’s pretty much impossible NOT to mention this big fella following the performance he put on last night. Reed logged 31 minutes against the Nets last night and posted 19 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks -- good for 42.0 DKFP/44 FDFP! Montrezl Harrell may end up getting the start again in place of Joel Embiid, but Reed was a key reason why the shorthanded 76ers were able to come away victorious against the Nets last night so he should handle some significant minutes one way or the other. It’s also a stellar match-up against a Hornets team that has ranked last versus opposing centers this season.

Other Centers to Consider:

PF/C Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL | DK: $12.3k, FD: $11.8k | vs. CHI | GPP Preferred

C Bam Adebayo, MIA | DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.8k | vs. WAS | GPP Preferred

C Kelly Olynyk, UTA | DK: $5.2k, FD: $5.3k | vs. DET | GPP Preferred

Here is a two-pick “Power Play” I’m liking for today's NBA action over on PrizePicks! Nothing is ever a guarantee to hit but I put my own money on these bets so I don't just lightly throw these out there without believing they'll cash! If it hits, it will return 3x the wager.
