The NBA brings another large slate to the table tonight with 10 games on the docket. There are quite a few high-scoring game environments we'll want to target, along with the usual injury impacts that other players stand to benefit from. Let's get it!

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

PG Tyrese Haliburton, IND | DK: $9.4k, FD: $9.4k | @ LAL | Cash & GPP

What a fantastic DFS scoring environment this game sets up to be. Both of these teams rank top five in pace, leading to a slate-high 237.5 O/U. Haliburton has poured in five consecutive points + assists double-doubles, and he’s averaging 1.51 FPPM in that five-game stretch. He is one of the best pure floor plays at the guard position and has been able to flash the 60+ FP upside needed to take down GPPs. Let’s keep Haliburton squarely in the player pool today.

💫PG/SG Shake Milton, PHI | DK: $6.5k, FD: $6.5k | vs. ATL | Cash & GPP

Milton’s DFS salaries are on the rise, but they’re not keeping pace with his actual production and enormous minutes played while James Harden and Tyrese Maxey both remain sidelined. Across five games in the starting lineup, Milton is averaging 38.6 Min/Gm, 23.6 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 6.6 APG. Joel Embiid, who has missed the last four games, could return today (currently listed as questionable). If he does suit up, Milton’s usage could take a hit. But the big minutes and still-affordable DFS salaries make him a prime mid-range target for this slate.

💫PG Jose Alvarado, NOP | DK: $4.3k, FD: $4.7k | vs. OKC | Cash & GPP

Grand Theft Alvarado projects for a third consecutive start while CJ McCollum is on the mend. A blowout limited his minutes in his last start but Alvarado should project for around 30-32 minutes tonight. He’s averaging right around an FPPM this season, and this is a nice pace-up spot for the Pelicans (15th in pace) against the Thunder (4th in pace). Alvarado is a strong bet to return 6x value this evening and, while he is more of a facilitator, his usage could increase with Brandon Ingram looking doubtful as well.

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

💫SF/PF DeMar DeRozan, CHI | DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.6k | @ UTA | Cash & GPP

DDR has been on a solid tear here recently. In his last five games, he has scored 32.6 PPG while tacking on 5.4 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.2 STL+BLK/Gm across 37.9 Min/Gm, and averaging 1.29 FPPM. This particular match-up stands out on this slate as well. The 235.5 O/U is the second-largest on the slate, and this game features one of the closest spreads with Utah being slight -1.5 home favorites.

SF/SG Kelly Oubre Jr., CHA | DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.2k | @ BOS | GPP Preferred

We will have to worry about blowout concerns in this game (BOS -10), but if the Hornets can keep this game close, it would likely be done via a big game out of Oubre. The Hornets are shorthanded tonight as they’ll be without LaMelo Ball, Gordan Hayward, and Dennis Smith Jr. When those three guys have been off the court this season, Oubre has seen a notable +3.23% usage boost and +7.72 per 48-minutes FP increase. Oubre has returned at least 33.75 DKFP in seven of his last eight games with three 45+ DKFP performances in that stretch. I never like to predict a blowout so if we assume this game stays close, Oubre brings a strong floor and 6x-plus upside to DFS lineups tonight.

💫PF Aaron Gordon, DEN | DK: $6.3k, FD: $6.3k | vs. HOU | GPP Preferred

Gordon has been off-the-charts good in these last two games where he has posted back-to-back 50+ DKFP performances. Michael Porter Jr. (heel) and Bones Hyland (illness) have also missed those two games so it’s reasonable to assume that Gordon has picked up some of the slack that those guys left behind. We won’t know for sure until closer to tip-off, but Porter and Hyland seem to be on the wrong side of ‘questionable’ tonight. That may pave way for another big night out of Gordon, especially given the match-up -- the Rockets are top 10 in pace and bottom 10 in defensive efficiency. We’ll have to hope for a competitive game since the Nuggets (-11.5) are the largest favorites on the evening.

Ayton just posted an absolutely mammoth 66.25 DKFP performance on Saturday thanks to pouring in 29 points and snatching 21 rebounds! He has now posted a double-double in five consecutive starts while averaging 20.2 PPG, 13.8 RPG, 3.6 APG, 2.0 STL+BLK/Gm, and 1.51 FPPM. This game against this Kings boasts a lofty 233 O/U and the line is set as a pick ‘em. Sacramento has allowed the 6th most points in the paint, where Ayton takes the vast majority of his shots. While it does feel a tad “chase-y” following his last game, Ayton had been trending up already, so we can turn to him again tonight… just don’t anticipate another ‘60 burger.’

💫C Nicolas Claxton, BKN | DK: $5.5k, FD: $5.6k | vs. ORL | Cash & GPP

Claxton can feel like a bit of a fantasy enigma at times but he’s priced down and has been fairly steady in his recent five starts where he has averaged 1.15 FPPM and 3.6 STL+BLK/Gm. He should find success against a Magic frontcourt that will be without Wendell Carter Jr. and may not have Mo Bamba (questionable) available as well.

NBA Player Props 📊

DeRozan has quite comfortably hit the over on 36.5 PRA in five consecutive games and in six of his last seven. And, strangely enough, he has been noticeably better on the road this season where he’s averaging 40.4 PRA in nine away games. He draws a nice match-up against the Jazz who rank 24th in defensive efficiency and 13th in pace. Based on some of his recent performances, DeRozan could hit the over on this prop on just points alone but we’ll throw in the rebounds and assists for good measure.

Deandre Ayton to Record a Double-Double: YES | -125 (PointsBet) | 2.0 Units

I’m liking these -125 odds on Ayton’s double-double prop considering he has notched a double-double in five straight, and in six of his last seven. Ayton should cruise to double-digit points fairly easily so the rebounds will be the largest hurdle. The Kings have allowed 9.3 RPG to opposing starting centers in their last 20 games. I’d certainly credit Ayton (9.5 RPG, 18.5% Rebounding%) as being an above-average rebounder in comparison to the rest of the centers in the NBA so let’s get in on this double-double prop tonight in what should be a close, high-scoring game with plenty of shots taken.
