Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

💫PG/SG Tyler Herro, MIA | DK: $8.1k, FD: $7.7k | @ OKC | Cash & GPP

Herro put up a bit of a stinker in his last game, but it was his first true dud performance in nine games. I believe we can go back to the Herro well today now that Jimmy Butler (knee) is ruled out. Herro has boasted a +3.02% usage boost with Butler off the court this season. In Butler’s most recent missed game (12/6 vs. DET), Herro went on to drop 34 points and 49.25 DKFP. OKC has been terrible against opposing backcourts and this is a significant pace-up spot for the Heat (MIA: 28th in pace, OKC: 4th in pace).

💫PG/SG Jordan Poole, GSW | DK: $7.8k, FD: $6.7k | @ IND | Cash & GPP

The Warriors are on the second leg of a back-to-back so, as has been the case all season, Klay Thompson will be out tonight. Andrew Wiggins will also miss his fifth consecutive game and Steph Curry remains questionable to play. Regardless of what happens with Curry’s status, Poole is going to be a fairly obvious play on this slate. He has owned a +4.43% usage boost with Klay and Wiggins off the court -- if Curry sits, his usage has been boosted by +5.34%. Both teams in this game rank top five in the NBA in pace (GSW: 1st, IND: 5th) so, unsurprisingly, this match-up leads the slate with a huge 235 O/U. It does appear as if DraftKings priced Poole more appropriately in anticipation of the Warriors sitting players (was $6,400 on yesterday’s slate) but there is a ton of value attached to him at $6,700 on FanDuel.

SG/SF Bogdan Bogdanovic, ATL | DK: $5k, FD: $6k | @ DEN | Cash & GPP

There is not a ton of standout guard value at the time of this writing, but I do believe we’ll want some Bogdan Bogdanovic shares tonight. Bogdanovic sat out Monday’s game with a knee issue, but he enters this slate without an injury designation. In his last two games, he played a massive role off of the bench where he combined for 59 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. He drained 13 threes in those two games while shooting an absurd 56.5% from beyond the arc. Overall, he averaged 1.29 FPPM across his 70 minutes played. He should command plenty of playing time tonight with Dejounte Murray out and Trae Young listed as questionable. The Hawks will certainly need his shooting prowess if they want to keep this game close (ATL +11.5 underdogs).

Other Guards to Consider:

PG Damian Lillard, POR | DK: $10.3k, FD: $9.7k | @ SAS | GPP Preferred

SG/SF Anthony Edwards, MIN | DK: $9.2k, FD: $8.8k | @ LAC | GPP Preferred (Cash play if D. Russell is out)

💫PG Fred VanVleet, TOR | DK: $7.5k, FD: $7.8k | vs. SAC | GPP Preferred

PG Jamal Murray, DEN | DK: $7.2k, FD: $7.2k | vs. WAS | GPP Preferred

💫SG Gary Trent Jr., TOR | DK: $5.7k, FD: $5.8k | vs. SAC | Cash & GPP

💫PG/SG Jordan Goodwin, WAS | DK: $5.6k, FD: $5.2k | @ DEN | Cash & GPP

SG/SF Will Barton, WAS | DK: $4.8k, FD: $4.9k | @ DEN | GPP Preferred

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

💫SF/PF Paolo Banchero, ORL | DK: $7.7k, FD: $7.8k | vs. ATL | Cash & GPP

Banchero sticks out as a nice option in this high $7k range on both sites. He has played at least 37 minutes in three straight games while averaging 1.08 FPPM over his last 20. Orlando has been playing shorthanded for a while now, thus allowing Banchero to take on a team-leading 28.3% USG%. Due to the Hawks also being banged up, the blowout risk is also reduced in this game and the Magic are only +2.5-point home underdogs tonight. Atlanta has also been getting burned by opposing fours and ranks 27th against SFs over their last 20 games. They’ll be vulnerable down low with John Collins’ (ankle) continued absence.

SF/PF Kawhi Leonard, LAC | DK: $6.9k, FD: $7k | vs. MIN | Cash & GPP

Kawhi has now played at least 28 minutes in his last four games and he’s coming off his best performance of the season on Monday against Boston where he dropped 25 points, nine rebounds, six assists, a steal, and 47.25 DKFP. The Timberwolves have ranked 2nd in pace this season so, even if Kawhi sticks to around 30 minutes, the extra possessions in this game could easily lead to him hitting value at his $6.9k/$7k salaries.

SF/PF Kyle Anderson, MIN | DK: $5.6k, FD: $5.9k | @ LAC | Cash & GPP

Anderson’s DFS salaries continue to creep up as he sees more consistent run with Karl-Anthony Towns sidelined but there is still some meat left on the bone at $5.6k/$5.9k. He logged 28 minutes in his last game but, in the two games prior, he was on the court for 39 and 35 minutes. If tonight is one of those games where he does play 35+ minutes, he’ll have a great chance to return 6x value. The Clippers have ranked dead last in the NBA against opposing PFs over their last 20 games and Anderson could see a nice little usage boost if D’Angelo Russell (knee/questionable) is ruled out.

Other Forwards to Consider:

SF/SG Paul George, LAC | DK: $9.5k, FD: $8.9k | vs. MIN | GPP Preferred

SF/PF DeMar DeRozan, CHI | DK: $8.4k, FD: $8.4k | vs. CHI | GPP Preferred

💫SF/SG Kelly Oubre Jr., CHA | DK: $7.4k, FD: $7.8k | vs. DET | Cash & GPP

SF Caleb Martin, MIA | DK: $5.3k, FD: $5k | @ OKC | GPP Preferred

SF Luguentz Dort, OKC | DK: $5k, FD: $5.3k | vs. MIA | GPP Preferred

Centers to Consider 🏀

💫C Mason Plumlee, CHA | DK: $6.1k, FD: $6.2k | vs. DET | Cash & GPP

From a DFS standpoint, few players go as overlooked and under-owned on a regular basis as Mason Plumlee. He’s rarely going to lay a goose egg and has scored between 28.5 DKFP and 37.0 DKFP in six consecutive games while averaging 1.11 FPPM. There is a chance the Hornets could have LaMelo Ball back in the mix tonight but, in a limited sample size, Plumlee’s usage has actually increased slightly when Ball is on the court. The Hornets draw a strong match-up against the Pistons, who rank 29th in defensive efficiency and allow the 2nd most points in the paint.

💫C Charles Bassey, SAS | DK: $4.1k, FD: $5.1k | vs. POR | Cash & GPP/DK Preferred

The Spurs will continue to be without Jakob Poeltl (knee) and now they’re down Zach Collins (ankle) as well. That should open up some guaranteed minutes for Charles Bassey who has been excellent on a fantasy point-per-minute basis this season. The second-year center has averaged 1.16 FPPM but has yet to play more than 24 minutes in a single game this season. If he can push for 25-30 minutes tonight, he could end up crushing his DFS salaries, especially at $4,100 on DK.

Other Centers to Consider:

C Nikola Jokic, DEN | DK: $11.8k, FD: $11.8k | vs. WAS | GPP Preferred

C Bam Adebayo, MIA | DK: $8.3k, FD: $9k | @ OKC | GPP/DK Preferred

💫C Jusuf Nurkic, POR | DK: $7.3k, FD: $7.3k | @ SAS | Cash & GPP

C Daniel Gafford, WAS | DK: $3.8k, FD: $4.6k | @ DEN | GPP Preferred

NBA Player Props 📊

Player Prop or Bet | Odds | Unit Bet Size

Mason Plumlee OVER 9.5 Rebounds | -106 (FanDuel) | 2.0 Units

Plumlee has hit the over on 9.5 rebounds in five of his last six games and takes on a Pistons team that ranks in the bottom half of the league in rebounding percentage. He missed hitting the over on this prop in six consecutive games by just one rebound so, at near even money, let’s take a shot on the over for Plumdog's rebounds tonight.

Paolo Banchero OVER 24.5 Points + Assists | -120 (DraftKings) | 2.0 Units

The Hawks have struggled against opposing frontcourts ever since they’ve been without John Collins, who will miss his seventh consecutive game tonight. The Magic have been fairly shorthanded lately as well, but Banchero has stepped up into a featured role and he has cashed the over on this prop in seven of his last eight games. Banchero has also been a bit more consistent at home in his rookie season where he has averaged 22.7 PPG and 4.0 APG. We can confidently take the over on his points + assist prop this evening.

PrizePicks Power Play ⚡

Mason Plumlee MORE than 9.5 Rebounds
