Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

PG Trae Young, ATL | DK: $10.3k, FD: $9.7k | @ BKN | GPP Preferred

The Dejounte Murray (ankle/out) injury is one of the more impactful injuries on the slate, so that will force Trae Young into consideration. He’s a frustrating guy to roster at times and the match-up with the Nets honestly isn’t a great one (Nets rank 1st vs. PGs). Despite that, Young has seen a huge +10.6% boost to his already high usage when Murray has been off the court this season and his per-48-minute production increases by +14.07 FP. If the Hawks (+7.5) keep this game close for all four quarters, Trae Young will likely have poured in a massive performance.

💫PG/SG Jordan Clarkson, UTA | DK: $7.3k, FD: $6.6k | vs. MIN | Cash & GPP

The Jazz look to get Mike Conley back tonight, but they’ll be without Collin Sexton (hamstring) for the first time this season. Lauri Markkanen (illness) is also questionable to play. Conley hasn’t played in three weeks so it’s possible he could be on a light minutes restriction. Either way, there is quite a bit of usage to go around with Sexton (23.4% USG%) out of the picture and if Markkanen sits again, Jordan Clarkson would be the top-scoring option in a terrific match-up. Both of these teams rank in the top 10 in pace, with the T-Wolves ranking 1st in the NBA. The T-Wolves also struggle mightily against opposing guards so we could easily see Clarkson post a ceiling performance this evening.

💫SG/SF Tim Hardaway Jr., DAL | DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.7k | vs. MIL | Cash & GPP

I’m just waiting on the Hardaway regression game to hit but we’ll keep rolling with him until his hot shooting streak comes to an end. Over his last five games, Hardaway is averaging 24.4 PPG and an impressive 1.25 FPPM while playing 30.6 Min/Gm. The Bucks do rank 2nd in defensive efficiency, however, given all of the attention that Luka draws, Hardaway has been seeing plenty of open looks, and he’s connected on at least five three-pointers in five consecutive games. Luka versus Giannis will be a fun match-up but, for DFS purposes, we can look toward Hardaway for some potential value.

Other Guards to Consider:

💫PG Ja Morant, MEM | DK: $10.6k, FD: $10.6k | vs. DET | Cash & GPP

💫PG Tyrese Haliburton, IND | DK: $9.2k, FD: $9.5k | vs. WAS | Cash & GPP

PG/SG James Harden, PHI | DK: $8.9k, FD: $9.3k | vs. LAL | GPP Preferred

*PG Darius Garland, CLE | DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.3k | vs. SAC | Cash & GPP (*If D. Mitchell is out)

PG Jalen Brunson, NYK | DK: $6.8k, FD: $8k | @ CHA | DK Preferred

💫PG/SG Jaylen Nowell, MIN | DK: $4.7k, FD: $5.5k | @ UTA | DK Preferred

SG/SF Bogdan Bogdanovic, ATL | DK: $4.1k, FD: $4.4k | @ BKN | GPP Preferred

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

PF/C Pascal Siakam, TOR | DK: $10k, FD: $10k | @ ORL | Cash & GPP

I love the role that Siakam has taken on this season. He has seen a huge boon in his assist numbers, averaging 7.1 dimes per game. And given his 24.5 PPG and 8.9 RPG averages, that makes him a triple-double threat on any given night. Orlando represents a terrific match-up as they rank 26th in defensive efficiency and allow the 11th most PPG in the paint. We will likely need Siakam to push for minutes in the upper-30s, which he will do in competitive matches. If the Magic (+8 underdogs) keep this one close, Siakam’s ceiling is about as high as any other player on the slate.

💫PF Julius Randle, NYK | DK: $7.9k, FD: $8.2k | @ CHA | GPP Preferred

Randle took over against the Hawks on Wednesday night en route to 34 points, 17 boards, five dimes, and a steal. He did his scoring on 19 shot attempts, which represents typical usage from him. He also went 8-of-8 from the stripe and knocked down 6-of-12 three-point attempts. We can’t count on him shooting 50% from three, 100% on free throws, and bringing down 17 boards on a nightly basis, but the Hornets have been bullied by opposing bigs all season, so it’s not completely unrealistic that Randle could post back-to-back ceiling games.

💫SF/PF Jalen McDaniels, CHA | DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.4k | vs. NYK | Cash & GPP

The Hornets continue to operate without some key players like LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward. Recently, that has led to big minutes for McDaniels who has played at least 33 minutes in three straight and he has averaged 0.97 FPPM in that span. If the big minutes continue, McDaniels sets up as a strong option in the $5k range on both sites.

Other Forwards to Consider:

SF/SG Anthony Edwards, MIN | DK: $9k, FD: $8.8k | @ UTA | Cash & GPP

💫SF/SG Kelly Oubre Jr., CHA | DK: $6.9k, FD: $7.8k | vs. NYK | DK Preferred

💫SF/PF Deni Avdija, WAS | DK: $4.8k, FD: $5.5k | @ IND | GPP Preferred

*PF/C Brandon Clarke, MEM | DK: $3.9k, FD: $4.6k | vs. DET | GPP Preferred (*Cash play if S. Adams is out)

PF Jalen Johnson, ATL | DK: $3.8k, FD: $4.6k | @ BKN | GPP Preferred

Centers to Consider 🏀

💫C Rudy Gobert, MIN | DK: $7.2k, FD: $7.4k | @ UTA | Cash & GPP

Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) will be missing his fourth consecutive game for the T-Wolves tonight. Gobert struggled to take advantage of Towns’ absence in the first two games, however, foul trouble did play a factor in one of those games and he was ejected early in the second quarter of the second game on 12/3 after being assessed a flagrant two foul. Then Wednesday’s game against the Pacers rolled around and we saw what Gobert is capable of. In 31 minutes on Wednesday, Gobert managed to put up 16 points, and he snagged 21 rebounds with three steals and two blocks -- good for 54.25 DKFP. That’s more like it. He gets to face a Jazz team that has ranked dead last versus opposing centers and you can also throw in a little “revenge narrative” if you’d like. Gobert returns to Utah where he played his first nine NBA seasons -- this being the first time he’ll don the opposing team’s uniform. Gobert played the Jazz earlier this season (at home) and brought down a season-high 23 rebounds.

💫C Mitchell Robinson, NYK | DK: $5k, FD: $5.8k | @ CHA | DK Preferred

He’s priced appropriately on FanDuel, but Robinson stands out as an excellent value option at a flat $5,000 on DraftKings. Charlotte has been a smash spot for opposing centers all season so Robinson is firmly on the DFS radar today. The Hornets allow an NBA-high 7.1 blocks per game, which plays directly in the favor of Robinson and his high-end shot-blocking ability (1.8 BLK/Gm). Robinson will be the fourth or fifth scoring option when he’s on the floor with the likes of Randle, Brunson, and Barrett but he should be able to stuff the stat sheet elsewhere with plenty of rebounds and potentially multiple blocks.

Other Centers to Consider:

💫C Joel Embiid, PHI | DK: $11.5k, FD: $11.6k | vs. LAL | GPP Preferred

💫C Kristaps Porzingis, WAS | DK: $9.4k, FD: $9.2k | @ IND | GPP Preferred

PF/C Ben Simmons, BKN | DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.2k | vs. ATL | GPP Preferred

💫C Jarrett Allen, CLE | DK: $6.6k, FD: $6.9k | vs. SAC | Cash & GPP

C Walker Kessler, UTA | DK: $4.2k, FD: $5.3k | vs. MIN | GPP Preferred (Cash play if he starts)

NBA Player Props 📊

Player Prop or Bet | Odds | Unit Bet Size

Tyrese Haliburton OVER 10.5 Assists | -110 (DraftKings) | 2.0 Units

It never feels like a bad idea to roll with the over on Haliburton’s assist prop, who leads the NBA with 11.0 dimes per game. The Wizards actually allow the 9th fewest assists per game but Haliburton seems nearly match-up proof when it comes to collecting huge assist numbers. He has hit the over on this prop in seven of his last nine games and this game carries the second-highest total (234 O/U) and second-fastest combined pace on the slate. There should be no shortage of buckets scored tonight and we’ll bank on Haliburton facilitating on at least 11 of those made shots.

Mitchell Robinson to Record a Double-Double & Team to Win: YES | +270 (PointsBet) | 1.25 units

Bit of a riskier prop here but I like the value at +270. Robinson has collected double-digit rebounds in four of his last five games so that should be the easy part. Second, we’ll need the Knicks to pull off the win on the road, though they do step in as three-point favorites and the Hornets continue to be without some of their best players. The largest hurdle will be Robinson getting to 10+ points. It’s certainly doable. The Hornets have allowed the 8th most PPG in the paint this season and 14.9 PPG to opposing starting centers over their last 20 games. It all adds up to this prop having a solid chance of cashing.

PrizePicks Power Play ⚡

Here is a two-pick “Power Play” I’m liking for today's NBA action over on PrizePicks! Nothing is ever a guarantee to hit but I put my own money on these bets so I don't just lightly throw these out there without believing they'll cash! If it hits, it will return 3x the wager.

Tyrese Haliburton MORE than 10.5 Assists

Rudy Gobert MORE than 13.5 Rebounds
