New month, new money! We’ve got a busy day ahead of us in the NBA with eight games to dig into! Originally, we had nine games on the schedule this evening but due to some weather-related flight issues, the Pistons/Wizards game has been postponed. A ton of offensive potential remains on this slate with seven games boasting over/unders of 230+ points. As always, best of luck and let’s have some fun!

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

PG Stephen Curry, GSW | DK: $10.3k, FD: $10.1k | @ MIN | Cash & GPP

Chef Curry has been in the kitchen cooking for the last few days. He has combined for 73 points and 23 assists in his last two games and he was five combined rebounds short of posting back-to-back triple-doubles. Curry’s DFS outputs have been fairly up and down this season but he’ll land in an enticing match-up with the T-Wolves who, like the Warriors (1st in pace), also play very up-tempo (MIN: 7th in pace). Curry has averaged +8.2% more FPPG in road games this season and this game will feature a ton of possessions, shot attempts, and peripheral stat opportunities.

💫PG De’Aaron Fox, SAC | DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.6k | @ SAS | Cash & GPP

If you’re a fan of defense, don’t bother tuning into this game. The Spurs remain the worst defensive team in the NBA (last in defensive efficiency, 122.3 PPG allowed) and the Kings have not been much better (22nd in defensive efficiency, 116.5 PPG allowed). The simple lack of defense in this game will make a high-usage player, who is also a primary facilitator, like De’Aaron Fox a prime DFS target out of this upper mid-range. Fox has posted a 30.61% USG% over his last five games while dishing out 7.4 APG and snagging 2.2 STL+BLK/Gm. Fox combined for 51 shot attempts in his last two games alone and if he keeps that same aggressive mindset tonight, he’s poised for a huge fantasy performance. The Kings sit atop the slate with a 125.8 implied point total and if they meet those expectations, Fox will have scored or assisted on a large portion of that offensive output.

💫PG Mike Conley, UTA | DK: $5.6k, FD: $5.9k | vs. TOR | Cash & GPP

It’s never a sexy nor exciting play, but at his current DFS salaries, Mike Conley has been consistently providing a strong floor. He has provided at least 28.25 DKFP in seven consecutive games and draws a sneaky good match-up tonight. The Raptors are tough in the paint but that forces plenty of action toward the opposing backcourt and starting point guards are averaging 40.68 FPPG versus Toronto in their last 20 games. The Jazz have not played since Saturday and Conley has averaged an additional +21% FPPG when well-rested. He’ll be a solid target out of the $5k range on both sites today.

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

💫SF/SG Mikal Bridges, PHX | DK: $7k, FD: $7.3k | vs. ATL | Cash & GPP

Given the injury circumstances that the Suns continue to deal with, Mikal Bridges makes a ton of sense as a prime DFS play tonight. Devin Booker, Cam Payne, and Landry Shamet all remain out with various injuries. Bridges has handled a +3.1% usage boost when those three players have been off the court this season. The great thing about Bridges is the fact that he will be locked into massive, massive minutes in any remotely competitive game. He has logged between 37 and 42 minutes in seven of his last nine games and he has returned at least 40.5 DKFP in six of his last nine as well, including a huge 50.25 DKFP performance against the Raptors on Monday night. This game currently owns the closest spread on the slate (PHX -1.5) and the Hawks have ranked 29th against opposing small forwards over their last 20 games.

💫SF Eric Gordon, HOU | DK: $5.3k, FD: $5k | vs. OKC | Cash & GPP

The Rockets have been playing without PG Kevin Porter Jr. for nine consecutive games and SG Jalen Green will be sitting out his second straight game with a calf injury. They will have their emerging stud big man Alperen Sengun back in action after he missed the last game with an illness, but Porter (25.5% USG%) and Green (27.9% USG%) have been the Rockets’ two highest usage players so there will be plenty of slack for other shooters to pick up tonight. Without Porter and Green on the floor this season, Eric Gordon has picked up a team-leading +9.06% usage boost along with a +14.37 per 48-minute fantasy point increase. Gordon poured in 24 points with seven assists and two steals (37.0 DKFP) in their last game on Saturday. While Sengun’s return could negatively impact Gordon’s upside tonight, there is still plenty of meat on the bone, value-wise, at his current $5.3k/$5k DFS salaries.

💫PF Jeremy Sochan, SAS | DK: $5.2k, FD: $5.6k | vs. SAC | Cash & GPP

There are quite a few appealing forward options out of the $5k range today and Sochan certainly looks like a prime target. He’s playing solid minutes, even in blowouts, and he has posted at least 27.0 DKFP in his last seven games. As mentioned above in the De’Aaron Fox spotlight, this game is not expected to feature much defense whatsoever and, to no surprise, it boasts a slate-high 243.5 over/under. We should be able to get a strong DFS floor out of Sochan tonight and he has shown off 7x-9x upside in several games this season.

Ayton has somewhat surprisingly picked up the largest usage bump (+5.8%) when Booker, Payne, and Shamet (all out tonight) have been off the floor this season. Ayton is capable of putting up some monster numbers and has a high of 66.25 DKFP (11/26 vs. UTA) this season. However, he can also be a bit streaky at times. Those three Suns’ player absences should do nothing but strengthen Ayton’s floor and upside tonight. He’ll make ample sense as a sub-$8k center option tonight against the Hawks, who have ranked 28th versus centers across their last 20 games.

C Precious Achiuwa, TOR | DK: $5.7k, FD: $6.4k | @ UTA | Cash & GPP

Achiuwa’s DFS salaries are rapidly climbing but he still has the potential to smash value as he continues to land in the starting lineup in place of the injured OG Anunoby. Achiuwa has started four of the last six games and has played at least 33 minutes in each while churning out four double-doubles and DKFP totals of 44.25, 31.75, 50.25, and 32.5. He’s a strong bet to handle mid-30s minutes once again and he has a plus match-up ahead of him against the Jazz who allow the 4th most points in the paint per game (54.2 PITP/Gm).
