DFS Main Slate Rundown 📰

Tuesday sets up with a solid seven-game slate. Unlike many recent main slates, this one stretches from early to late evening with the inclusion of several West Coast games. While there aren’t many high totals on the board, there are plenty of competitive matchups, with six games carrying spreads under five points.

The injury report features a decent number of questionable tags, and with six games tipping off at 8 ET or later, staying on top of news and starting lineups as they drop throughout the night will be especially important. Let’s see what we can whip up today. Best of luck!

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

SG Anthony Edwards, MIN | DK: $9.2k, FD: $9.8k | at UTA

After missing a couple of games for foot injury maintenance, Anthony Edwards returned to action against the Spurs on Saturday and delivered his best offensive performance of the season. He erupted for 55 points on 19-of-33 shooting, good for a massive 44.5% USG%, and finished with 68.0 DKFP across 40 minutes. That’s obviously a tough act to follow, but Edwards has consistently torched this Jazz team -- if you care about historical trends, he’s posted at least 50 DKFP in nine straight meetings with Utah.

The matchup also checks out on paper, as the Jazz rank 27th in DvP versus starting shooting guards and provide a notable pace boost (UTA: 3rd in pace, MIN: 12th). The primary concern is blowout risk with Minnesota sitting as 13.5-point road favorites, but Edwards already hit 50.2 DKFP in a 40-point blowout win over Utah earlier this season while playing just 26 minutes. Guard is loaded at the top on this slate, but Edwards belongs firmly in the same conversation as any of the elite spend-up options.

SG Brandon Ingram, TOR | DK: $7.9k, FD: $8.2k | at GSW

With RJ Barrett (ankle) still sidelined and Toronto operating with a thinner rotation, Brandon Ingram is set up for a sizable offensive role and carries some reasonable DFS salaries. In 20 games without Barrett this season, Ingram has averaged 38.2 DKFP while carrying a team-leading 29.6% USG%, and he’s topped 40 DKFP in three of his last four games in that split. The matchup also works in his favor – Golden State is without Jimmy Butler, they’re playing on the second night of a back-to-back, and they’ve ranked 22nd in DvP versus SGs over their last 10. So, overall, this is a nice spot for Ingram to pop for a quality performance.

PG Brandin Podziemski, GSW | DK: $4.3k, FD: $5.6k | vs. TOR

Jimmy Butler’s season-ending ACL injury opens the door for Brandin Podziemski to take on a larger role, and we’ve already seen what that can look like. Over Golden State’s last two games – one without Butler entirely and one where he exited early – Podziemski has produced 39.5 and 40.0 DKFP. With Butler off the floor this season, Podziemski has handled a solid 20.4% USG% and 18.9% AST%, while averaging 0.97 FPPM. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, he should be locked into roughly 28–30 minutes tonight. Toronto isn’t an ideal defensive matchup, but the role and salary make Podziemski one of the stronger value plays on the slate, particularly on DraftKings at $4.3k.

Other Guards to Consider

PG Luka Doncic, LAL at DEN

PG James Harden, LAC at CHI

PG Tyrese Maxey, PHI vs. PHX (Boost if P. George is out)

PG Jamal Murray, DEN vs. LAL

PG Steph Curry, GSW vs. TOR

PG Keyonte George, UTA vs. MIN

PG Russell Westbrook, SAC vs. MIA

SG/SF Norman Powell, MIA at SAC

PG/SG Collin Gillespie, PHX at PHI

SG/SF Jordan Miller, LAC at CHI

PG/SF De’Anthony Melton, GSW vs. TOR

PG Davion Mitchell, MIA at SAC

PG/SG Walter Clayton Jr., UTA vs. MIN

SG Will Richard, GSW vs. TOR (Currently questionable – Preferred if starting)

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

SF/SG Norman Powell, MIA | DK: $7k, FD: $7.1k | at SAC

Forward isn’t as loaded at the top as guard is, so we won’t lead off this section with an overly pricey option. Norman Powell, who has SF/SG dual eligibility on both sites, looks a tad underpriced with Tyler Herro (ribs/out) set to miss a third straight game. Powell’s role and efficiency take a noticeable jump without Herro on the floor. In those minutes this season, Powell’s usage climbs from 23.7% to 27.7%, while his per-minute production rises from 1.01 to 1.18 FPPM. He’s already made 27 starts without Herro and has led Miami in scoring production in that split, averaging 36.9 DKFP/gm. The matchup is also favorable, as Sacramento remains an attackable defense, ranking 28th in DEFRTG, and this game carries one of the best environments on the slate with a high 237.5 total and a tight 3.5-point spread. At these price points, Powell brings legitimate 40+ FP upside and profiles as a strong option in all formats.

PF/C Aaron Gordon, DEN | DK: $6.7k, FD: $6.9k | vs. LAL

Aaron Gordon continues to look like a strong option with Nikola Jokic and other Nugs players sidelined, and he’s set up for another strong workload tonight. In 163 minutes this season with Jokic, Jonas Valanciunas, Cameron Johnson, and Christian Braun all off the floor, Gordon has carried a 25.3% usage rate while posting a team-best 1.23 FPPM. He’s dealt with his fair share of injuries this season but is officially listed as “probable” today and projects for low-30s minutes, which is plenty of runway at these sub-$7k salaries. The matchup is favorable as well, with the Lakers ranking 26th in defensive rating on the season.

SF Buddy Hield, GSW | DK: $3.3k, FD: $4k | vs. TOR

Rounding out the Warriors value options with Jimmy Butler sidelined, Buddy Hield checks in as an intriguing salary saver at near-minimum price points. Hield has largely fallen out of the rotation for a good chunk of the season, but opportunity has opened up with Butler unavailable and Golden State navigating the second leg of a back-to-back with a couple other rotation pieces carrying “questionable” designations. In the two most recent games where Butler was mostly unavailable, Hield responded with 30.25 and 28.0 DKFP off the bench. He’s unlikely to push beyond 20–25 minutes, but that’s more than enough runway at these salaries.

Other Forwards to Consider

PF Scottie Barnes, TOR at GSW

PF LeBron James, LAL at DEN

PF Julius Randle, MIN at UTA

SF Jaden McDaniels, MIN at UTA

PF Andrew Wiggins, MIA at SAC

SF/SG Jaime Jaquez Jr., MIA at SAC

SF/SG Moses Moody, GSW vs. TOR

SF/PF Simone Fontecchio, MIA at SAC (Boost if Ware is out)

Centers to Consider 🏀

C Victor Wembanyama, SAS | DK: $10k, FD: $10.9k | at HOU

Victor Wembanyama continues to trend in the right direction as his minutes restrictions loosen. He’s posted back-to-back games of roughly 60 DKFP and pushed up to 31 minutes in one of those outings, and he should be right around the 30-minute mark again tonight in a competitive matchup that carries a narrow 4.5-point spread. Houston is a strong defensive team, but Wembanyama’s role and per-minute production largely override most matchup concerns. He’s operating with a massive 35.9% USG% over his last five starts and is averaging an elite 1.73 FPPM on the season. Any time Wembanyama has a realistic path to 30+ minutes, he’s firmly in play at these price points on both sites.

C Sandro Mamukelashvili, TOR | DK: $5.4k, FD: $5.2k | at GSW

With both Jakob Poeltl and Collin Murray-Boyles out tonight, Mamukelashvili is likely going to step into a featured role as the Raptors’ primary center. He’s currently projected to start and play around 30 minutes against the Warriors, who have ranked 27th in DvP versus centers over their last ten games. In his previous five games as a starter, Mamu is averaging a healthy 1.17 FPPM, and he’s coming off a productive game against the Lakers on Sunday where he dropped 20 points and 35.5 DKFP in just 24 minutes off the bench. With more guaranteed minutes as a starter, we have to like him as an affordable center option today.

Other Centers to Consider

C Bam Adebayo, MIA at SAC

C Jusuf Nurkic, UTA vs. MIN

C Ivica Zubac, LAC at CHI

C Deandre Ayton, LAL at DEN

C Dylan Cardwell, SAC vs. MIA

C Oso Ighodaro, PHX at PHI (Preferred if M. Williams is out)
