DFS Main Slate Rundown 📰

A chaotic NBA Tuesday is here with eight games on the main slate. The biggest wrinkle today is a loaded injury report that now includes players who’ve already been traded. With Thursday’s 3:00 PM ET trade deadline quickly approaching, activity is starting to pick up, so things could get messy over the next couple of days. Even setting trade-related news aside, there are plenty of moving parts to monitor with players either ruled out or carrying questionable tags throughout the slate. Just tread carefully, stay on top of news, and let’s see what we can piece together. Best of luck!

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

PG Luka Doncic, LAL | DK: $12k, FD: $12.6k | at BKN

Value won’t be hard to come by today, so it makes sense to consider the guard with arguably the highest floor and ceiling on the slate. Over his last seven games, Doncic is nearly averaging a triple-double with 35.0 PPG, 10.0 RPG, and 9.7 APG across 35.7 minutes per game. That stretch has translated to a ridiculous 1.90 FPPM and 67.7 DKFP per game. Austin Reaves (calf/questionable) still hasn’t returned to the lineup, and even if he’s ruled in, he’d likely play under some level of restriction that limits any major usage impact. The matchup isn’t perfect, with some blowout risk (LAL -8.5) and Brooklyn operating at the second-slowest pace in the league, but Doncic has been on another level lately, even by his standards. Given how much value is available across the slate, with more likely opening up once we get further injury/availability news, Doncic firmly deserves to be a priority spend-up.

PG/SG Ayo Dosunmu, CHI | DK: $6.1k, FD: $6.2k | at MIL

Dosunmu continues to benefit from Chicago’s extremely thin backcourt, and that situation only intensifies with Nikola Vucevic being dealt to the Celtics earlier this afternoon. With Josh Giddey, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter (traded to DET), and now Vucevic all out of the picture, Dosunmu should settle into a reliable role as he has produced at a 1.14 FPPM clip in this scenario. He’s posted 37.75 and 56.5 fantasy points in two of his last three games while handling expanded offensive responsibility, and the minutes outlook remains strong even if he shifts back to a bench role. A 30-plus minute workload is still very much in play, and the matchup against a Giannis-less Bucks team only helps the overall environment. Given the role stability, minutes security, and reasonable price points, Dosunmu profiles as a strong mid-range guard option with clear upside.

PG/SG Quenton Jackson, IND | DK: $3.1k, FD: $3.6k | vs. UTA

There’s plenty of value to be found on this Pacers roster, as Indiana will be without most of its key contributors. Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Bennedict Mathurin, and TJ McConnell have all been ruled out, opening the door for expanded roles across the remaining lineup. Jackson has fallen out of the regular rotation over the past couple of weeks, but he’s a strong candidate to start tonight and play around 30 minutes. While the sample is limited, Jackson has led the team with a 30.9% usage rate with those five players off the floor this season. The matchup also sets up extremely well, with Utah ranking dead last in defensive rating and third in pace, giving Jackson a clear path to value at this salary.

Other Guards to Consider

PG Cade Cunningham, DET vs. DEN

PG Ryan Rollins, MIL vs. CHI

PG/SF Cooper Flagg, DAL vs. BOS

SG Kyshawn George, WAS vs. NYK

SG/SF Nickeil Alexander-Walker, ATL at MIA

SG Coby White, CHI at MIL

SG/SF Josh Hart, NYK at WAS

PG Isaiah Collier, UTA at IND (Assuming he starts)

SG Luguentz Dort, OKC vs. ORL (Potential boost pending OKC injury news)

PG/SG Cason Wallace, OKC vs. ORL (Potential boost pending OKC injury news)

SG Ben Sheppard, IND vs. UTA (Boost if starting)

PG Tyler Kolek, NYK at WAS

PG/SG Kam Jones, IND vs. UTA (Boost if starting)

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

PF Jalen Johnson, ATL | DK: $10.2k, FD: $10.7k | at MIA

Johnson’s increased level of play this season has earned him his first All-Star bid and heads into tonight in strong form after a brief lull in mid-January. Over his last five games, he’s nearly averaging a triple-double with 24.4 PPG, 13.2 RPG, and 8.0 APG, while producing at an excellent 1.57 FPPM. His overall profile remains elite, supported by a 27.2% usage rate, a massive 33% assist rate, and a 15.9% rebound rate, giving him multiple paths to stat-stuffing ceiling outcomes. This matchup sets up well from a game environment standpoint, with Hawks–Heat carrying the highest totals on the slate at 237.5 points. Johnson already posted 52.25 DKFP against Miami earlier this season (he fell one rebound shy of a triple-double in that game) and is coming off a 73.0 DKFP triple-double in his most recent outing.

SF/SG Pelle Larsson, MIA | DK: $5.4k, FD: $5.2k | vs. ATL

Larsson has stepped into a productive role with Tyler Herro still sidelined and Norman Powell missing the last two games. He’s scored 31.0, 46.75, and 35.5 DKFP in his last three starts and has averaged 1.00 FPPM this season with both Herro and Norman Powell off the floor. Powell (personal/doubtful) is trending toward another absence while Andrew Wiggins is also questionable, leaving Larsson positioned for another elevated workload. This matchup remains the most ceiling-friendly environment on the slate, with Heat–Hawks carrying a 237.5-point total in a game featuring the top two fastest-paced teams in the league. Larsson already posted 39.5 DKFP against Atlanta back on December 26th, and his recent production keeps him firmly in play as a mid-range option with upside in this setting.

Update: Wiggins has officially been ruled out, which boosts Larsson’s appeal even further.

SF/PF Jarace Walker, IND | DK: $5.2k, FD: $5.2k | vs. UTA

Walker isn’t as cheap as some of the other interim Pacers starters today, but he’s one of the few active Indiana players who’s maintained a consistent role over the past few weeks. That stability puts him in position to take on a more prominent offensive role tonight. With Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Bennedict Mathurin, and TJ McConnell off the floor this season, Walker has carried a healthy 29.9% usage rate. He’s also been productive even when Indiana has been mostly healthy, posting 1.10 FPPM over his last five games as a starter. As long as Indiana doesn’t do anything overly unexpected with its already thin rotation, Walker profiles extremely well at a $5,200 price point on both sites.

Other Forwards to Consider

SF Jaylen Brown, BOS at DAL

SF Michael Porter Jr., BKN vs. LAL

PF Lauri Markkanen, UTA at IND

PF/C Bobby Portis, MIL vs. CHI (Currently questionable)

PF OG Anunoby, NYK at WAS

SF/PF Kyle Kuzma, MIL vs. CHI (Boost if Portis is out)

SF/PF Jaime Jaquez Jr., MIA vs. ATL

PF Matas Buzelis, CHI at MIL

SF Ausar Thompson, DET vs. DEN

PF Caleb Martin, DAL vs. BOS (Preferred if starting)

SF Johnny Furphy, IND vs. UTA

PF Patrick Williams, CHI at MIL (Preferred if J. Smith is out again)

Centers to Consider 🏀

C Nikola Jokic, DEN | DK: $11.7k, FD: $11.9k | at DET

Jokic returned to the Nuggets’ lineup last Friday after a 16-game injury absence and wasted no time making his presence felt. He was limited to 25 minutes in his first game back but still posted a 31/12/5 line and 61.5 DKFP against the Clippers. His most recent outing versus OKC was quieter from a fantasy standpoint (16/7/8, 36.2 DKFP), though his workload climbed to 29 minutes. If those minutes continue trending toward a more typical starter’s role, Jokic will remain firmly in play, especially with his salary dipping below $12k on both sites. He’s averaged a ridiculous 2.12 FPPM over his last five starts, making even a 30-minute workload more than enough to justify the price. The matchup isn’t ideal, but that’s rarely a concern with Jokic, and with the amount of value available on this slate, fitting him into builds shouldn’t be difficult.

C Myles Turner, MIL | DK: $6.2k, FD: $6.1k | vs. CHI

Turner profiles as a strong bounce-back candidate after a quiet outing in Sunday’s blowout loss to Boston, especially given the current state of Milwaukee’s rotation. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr. off the floor, his usage climbs to 20.6%, a meaningful bump from his baseline. Turner’s outlook improves further if Bobby Portis (hip/questionable) is unable to suit up, as that would help stabilize his minutes and frontcourt role. The matchup also sets up well, with Chicago now without Nikola Vucevic following his trade and potentially missing Jalen Smith (calf/questionable) for a third straight game. In a fast-paced game against a shaky Bulls defense, Turner stands out as a well-priced center with room to rebound.

Other Centers to Consider

C Bam Adebayo, MIA vs. ATL

C Jusuf Nurkic, UTA at IND

C Neemias Queta, BOS at DAL

C Daniel Gafford, DAL vs. BOS

C/PF Kenrich Williams, OKC vs. ORL (Pending OKC injury news)

C/PF Jay Huff, IND vs. UTA

C Isaiah Jackson, IND vs. UTA
