DFS Main Slate Rundown 📰

We have a busy eight-game slate on tap Tuesday night. Blowout risk is very real, with four games carrying spreads of at least 13.5 points, and all three totals north of 230 are clustered in the 8:00 ET window. The injury report is fairly loaded, though most of the major situations are already settled via “out,” “probable,” or “doubtful” designations, leaving only a handful of true “questionable” game-time decisions to monitor. It shapes up as a tricky slate from both a roster-construction and game-environment standpoint, so let’s see if we can navigate it cleanly. Best of luck!

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

PG Tyrese Maxey, PHI | DK: $10.1k, FD: $11k | vs. SAS

The matchup is not perfect on paper, but Maxey is still one of the clearest spend-ups on this slate with Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Kelly Oubre all off the floor. In that split this season, he leads the team by a wide margin with a 31.4% usage rate, and the recent form has been elite. Over his last five games, Maxey is averaging 31.8 points, 8.0 assists, 4.0 combined steals and blocks, and 1.56 FPPM on a massive 36.3% usage rate, good for 58.0 DKFP per game.

San Antonio profiles as a strong defensive unit overall, but they rank a more neutral 17th in DvP versus starting point guards, so this is not an awful individual matchup for Maxey. The real appeal here is workload – if this game stays competitive, Maxey is a strong bet to push for 40+ minutes with the offense entirely running through him.

SG/SF Cason Wallace, OKC | DK: $5.6k, FD: $5.8k | at CHI

Wallace’s production cooled off in the last two games with SGA back in the lineup, but that should flip right back tonight. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Ajay Mitchell off the floor this season, Wallace jumps to a 21.6% usage rate, a 26.8% assist rate, and 1.03 FPPM – significant increases from his 14.7% usage, 12.1% assist rate, and 0.77 FPPM baseline. He should return to operating as the Thunder’s primary point guard, which makes his mid-$5k tags look underpriced.

He’s projected for 32.5 minutes tonight and draws a strong pace-up matchup against Chicago (OKC: 15th in pace, CHI: 5th in pace). The Bulls have allowed 1.21 FPPM to the point guard position over their last 10 games, and this game environment sets up well for fantasy production. If Wallace resumes full lead-guard responsibilities, 40+ DKFP is within range again.

PG Sharife Cooper, WAS | DK: $4k, FD: $4.1k | at ORL

On paper, this is not a great environment. Washington carries a slate-low 105.5 implied total and is a 16.5-point underdog in Orlando, so blowout risk is very real. That said, the Wizards are down to just nine available players tonight, which keeps Cooper in play as a viable punt option – especially if this game gets out of hand.

He has averaged only 16.3 minutes per game this season, but the per-minute production has been strong when the opportunity expands. Cooper has topped 24.8 DKFP in each of his last five games that he has played 24+ minutes, and he just posted 29.5 DKFP in only 17 minutes against Houston yesterday. If he pushes into the mid-20s minutes again, 25+ DKFP is well within reach. Orlando also ranks 23rd in DvP versus bench guards over their last five games, so it is not a bad spot for him to produce with the second unit.

Other Guards to Consider

PG Cade Cunningham, DET at CLE

SG Anthony Edwards, MIN vs. MEM

SG/SF Desmond Bane, ORL vs. WAS

PG/SG Tyler Herro, MIA vs. BKN

SG Kon Knueppel, CHA vs. DAL

SG VJ Edgecombe, PHI vs. SAS

PG Donte DiVincenzo, MIN vs. MEM

SG Isaiah Joe, OKC at CHI

PG/SG Quentin Grimes, PHI vs. SAS (Boost if starting)

PG/SG Jared McCain, OKC at CHI

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

PF Paolo Banchero, ORL | DK: $9.4k, FD: $9.1k | vs. WAS

With Franz Wagner sidelined and Washington in town, Banchero stands out as one of the premier spend-ups on this slate. With Wagner off the floor this season, he leads Orlando with a 28.2% usage rate, and he has topped 50 DKFP in three of his last six games with Wagner out of the lineup. The matchup only adds to the appeal, as he previously posted 53.25 DKFP against the Wizards earlier this season even with Wagner active and his workload limited to only 26 minutes.

The primary concern is blowout risk, as Orlando is a heavy favorite. That said, Banchero has been logging strong minutes even in games that have ended with lopsided scores in recent weeks. Over his last five games, he has averaged 24.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 48.5 DKFP on a 30.0% usage rate. Even if the minutes dip slightly, we have already seen him explode against this Washington defense in limited run, so another 50+ FP game remains very much in play.

SF Brandon Miller, CHA | DK: $7.5k, FD: $7.7k | vs. DAL

Miller continues to trend in the right direction as Charlotte’s breakout season rolls on. He’s coming off 50.75 and 40 DKFP performances in his last two games and has averaged an outstanding 1.45 FPPM and 35.8% usage rate over his last five. The Hornets carry the third-highest implied total on the slate at 121.0 points against a depleted Dallas squad, which sets up well for another high-volume outing for Miller.

Charlotte has been one of the hottest teams in the league, going 14–3 since January 24th, and Miller has been a steady driver of that success. He’s averaging 42.9 DKFP in games where the Hornets have been sizable favorites and 40.9 DKFP in situations where the Hornets own a 120+ implied total. With all factors taken into consideration, Miller profiles as one of the stronger mid-range anchors at forward today.

SF/PF Aaron Wiggins, OKC | DK: $4.5k, FD: $4.7k | at CHI

The last time Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams were both sidelined, Wiggins stepped into the starting lineup and delivered 37.5 DKFP in 35 minutes against a stout Pistons defense. If he draws another start tonight, the matchup sets up even better against a Chicago team that plays fast and struggles defensively.

Wiggins has been volatile in prior starting opportunities, so this is not a “safe” value play. That said, the upside is strong for his mid-$4k salaries, especially with OKC missing multiple high-usage pieces. The Bulls rank 28th in DvP versus starting forwards over their last 20 games, giving Wiggins a clear path to outperforming salary if the minutes land in the low-30s again.

Other Forwards to Consider

PF Chet Holmgren, OKC at CHI

PF Matas Buzelis, CHI vs. OKC

PF PJ Washington, DAL at CHA

SF Jaden McDaniels, MIN vs. MEM

PF Miles Bridges, CHA vs. DAL

PF Andrew Wiggins, MIA vs. BKN

PF/C Naz Reid, MIN vs. MEM

SF/PF Will Riley, WAS at ORL

SF Ausar Thompson, DET at CLE

PF Tobias Harris, DET at CLE

SF/PF Bilal Coulibaly, WAS at ORL

SF/PF Tristan da Silva, ORL vs. WAS

SF Alex Caruso, OKC at CHI

PF/C Kenrich Williams, OKC at CHI

Centers to Consider 🏀

C Jalen Duren, DET | DK: $8k, FD: $8.4k | at CLE

Duren cooled off slightly in his last outing, but the overall form has been elite. Over his past five games, he’s averaging 25.8 points, 13.6 rebounds, 2.2 combined steals and blocks, and an outstanding 1.55 FPPM, good for 51.0 DKFP per game. He exploded for 33 points, 16 boards, and 67.0 DKFP the last time these teams met, and while that contest went into overtime and he logged 42 minutes, he was well on his way to a massive line regardless.

Cleveland has been strong against opposing centers, ranking fifth in DvP versus the position over their last 20 games, so this isn’t a soft matchup. Still, Duren’s current role and efficiency are difficult to ignore. Even in a tougher spot, riding the hot hand makes plenty of sense.

C Nick Richards, CHI | DK: $4.3k, FD: $4.7k | vs. OKC

With Jalen Smith sidelined and Nikola Vucevic now out of the picture, Richards has carved out a steady bench role for Chicago recently. He’s logged at least 27 minutes in back-to-back games, producing 29.5 and 25.25 DKFP in those outings. If that 25+ minute workload holds again tonight, he’s firmly in play at these sub-$5k salaries.

The matchup is intimidating on the surface, as Oklahoma City leads the league in defensive rating. However, the Thunder have ranked 23rd in DvP versus backup centers over their last 20 games. Richards has averaged a respectable 0.98 FPPM on the season and makes for a sneaky double-double candidate off the bench if the minutes stay elevated.

Other Centers to Consider

C Victor Wembanyama, SAS at PHI

C Bam Adebayo, MIA vs. BKN

C Rudy Gobert, MIN vs. MEM

C Moussa Diabate, CHA vs. DAL

C/PF Jaylin Williams, OKC at CHI (Assuming he starts)

C Andre Drummond, PHI vs. SAS

C Kel’el Ware, MIA vs. BKN

C Julian Reese, WAS at ORL
