DFS Main Slate Rundown 📰

We’ve officially entered the final week of the NBA regular season, and Monday brings a lighter five-game slate. FanDuel is rolling with all five games, while DraftKings will exclude the late-night Nuggets–Trail Blazers matchup. There are some solid environments to target, with multiple games featuring playoff-bound teams. The injury report is relatively clean in terms of questionable tags, with most players already ruled out or trending toward a clear status (doubtful or probable). This will be a quick newsletter, so let’s go ahead and dive in. Best of luck!

Main Slate Match-Ups w/ Game Totals & Point Spreads

Reminder: The POR/DEN game is only on the FanDuel main slate.

Today’s Key Injuries 🚑

Note: NBA injury reports can be fickle and often update throughout the day. Be sure to stay up-to-date on all injury news leading up to tip-off as the list below may be a bit outdated by the time you’re reading this.

Top DraftKings & FanDuel DFS Plays

Note: NBA position designations are never going to perfectly align between the major DFS sites. For the purposes of these newsletters, positional designations will default to DraftKings.

Point Guards/Shooting Guards to Consider 🏀

PG Daniss Jenkins, DET | DK: $7.3k, FD: $7.9k | at ORL

With Cade Cunningham (lung/doubtful) unlikely to make his return to the lineup tonight, Jenkins will continue to operate as Detroit’s primary ball-handler and has handled the role well. He’s averaged 1.11 FPPM over his last five starts and is projected for 35.0 minutes tonight, giving him a strong floor at these sub-$8k price points. The Magic have been a decent defensive team, but Jenkins’ individual matchup sets up nicely – Orlando has allowed 1.26 FPPM to starting point guards over their last 20 games while ranking 23rd in DvP. Even in a lower-total game, the role and efficiency keep Jenkins squarely on the radar.

SG Sam Merrill, CLE | DK: $4.4k, FD: $4.7k | at MEM

We should have plenty of value to work with from this Cavs team tonight with Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Max Strus, and several frontcourt pieces all sidelined. Merrill stands out as one of the primary beneficiaries, taking on a 28.4% USG% with those players off the floor this season while averaging 1.11 FPPM. He’s projected for 29.0 minutes and should continue to play a major role in this shorthanded rotation. The matchup also works in his favor against a Memphis team that ranks 24th in DEFRTG and plays at the 9th-fastest pace.

PG Dennis Schroder, CLE | DK: $4k, FD: $4.5k | at MEM

Schroder is another cheap Cavs value play to keep in the mix. He’s going to be chalky, but it’s tough to ignore a proven starting point guard priced this low. While he’s mostly operated in a reserve role since joining Cleveland, he should play around 30 minutes as a starter tonight and brings plenty of experience in that role. He’s averaged a respectable 0.94 FPPM on the season, and if the minutes hold, he’s well-positioned to return value against a Memphis team that has allowed 1.15 FPPM to starting guards over their last 20 games while ranking 25th in DvP.

Small Forwards/Power Forwards to Consider 🏀

SF/PF Paul George, PHI | DK: $8k, FD: $8.4k | at SAS

Forward is a bit thin at the top on this slate, and George stands out as one of the top ceiling plays at the position. Since returning from his 25-game suspension, he’s been excellent, averaging 1.48 FPPM while taking on a clear lead role in this offense despite splitting usage with Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid. The matchup is tough on paper with San Antonio ranking 3rd in DEFRTG, but this game carries a sneaky-fast pace and a strong 236.5 total. If this one stays competitive and pushes George into 35+ minutes, there’s clear 50+ DKFP upside here. He also makes for an intriguing pivot off what should be a popular Evan Mobley with Cleveland so shorthanded.

SF Dyson Daniels, ATL | DK: $6.5k, FD: $7.3k | vs. NYK

Daniels doesn’t command a ton of usage, but his ability to rack up peripherals and defensive stats keeps his floor intact. He’s been steady with flashes of upside, averaging 1.11 FPPM over his last 16 while contributing across the board. This matchup sets up as a slower, more methodical and defensive-minded game, but that tends to play into Daniels’ skillset. With a tight 1.5-point spread indicating a competitive atmosphere, Daniels should push into mid-30s minutes, which puts 40+ DKFP firmly in play.

PF/C Larry Nance Jr., CLE | DK: $3.4k, FD: $4.1k | at MEM

We’ve got more Cavs value here, this time in the frontcourt with Larry Nance Jr. In addition to Donovan Mitchell and James Harden sitting out, Cleveland will also be without several forward/center options like Max Strus, Thomas Bryant, Jaylon Tyson, and Dean Wade. That should open up more minutes off the bench for Nance, who projects for 20.0 tonight. He’s not been quite as productive on a per-minute basis compared to earlier in his career, but he’s still posted a solid 0.98 FPPM over his last 20 games. Memphis has also allowed the second-most FPPG to reserve players over their previous 20 games, so this sets up as a favorable spot for him to return value.

Centers to Consider 🏀

C Victor Wembanyama, SAS | DK: $11.5k, FD: $13.1k | vs. PHI

Aside from Nikola Jokic – who is only on the FanDuel main slate – Wembanyama clearly brings the highest ceiling today and stands in a tier of his own at the position. There’s enough value available to make the salary work, and while the projected ownership is high, it’s warranted given his recent production. He’s coming off a three-game stretch averaging 78.2 DKFP/gm and a ridiculous 2.37 FPPM. Philadelphia also hasn’t been particularly strong against centers either, ranking 23rd in DvP over their last 20 games. If he delivers another one of those 75+ DKFP monster performances, it’s going to be difficult to keep pace against the field without him in your lineups.

C Olivier-Maxence Prosper, MEM | DK: $4.4k, FD: $5.9k | vs. CLE

Prosper is a solid value option to consider, especially on DraftKings where the modest $4,400 price stands out. Memphis remains thin at center, which should keep him in the 25–30 minute range, and he’s taken advantage of the opportunity with an excellent 1.32 FPPM over his last five starts. The matchup is tougher with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen active for the Cavs, but Prosper has held his own in difficult spots recently.
