Top NBA Plays 10/30 | Is This What It's Like?

A nice slate of games is on tap for Wednesday headlined by Golden State in action vs. Phoenix. The New England Patriots will be watching this game, as it appears the Warriors dynasty is on the verge of being officially over. Belichick and company have to be wondering, "is this what it's going to be like for us?"

Tonight's DFS Headlines

The Bucks and Celtics look to be putting up a lot of points on Wednesday with a betting total of 223.5. Milwaukee has the #2 pace in the NBA.

Same goes with the Timberwolves visiting Philadelphia. Can Karl-Anthony Towns continue his torrid start up against Joel Embiid or will they cancel each other out in this one?

Charlotte visiting Sacramento is also a good DFS game to target. This is the #2 and #4 worst teams in terms of defensive efficiency, respectively (or disrespectfully).

Speaking of poor defensive efficiency teams. The Warrior rank last in that category in the NBA. They'll be hosting a Phoenix team that is 12th in pace while the Warriors still rank 8th in possessions per game. The total for this contest is 229.

Guards

RJ Barrett (DK: $6,500 FD: $7,200 Y! $29)

The Knicks back court is very banged up heading into today's matchup with the Magic. There's no way to "Fizdale-proof" the playing time of Allonzo Trier or Frank Ntilinka in the wake of injuries to Elfrid Payton and Dennis Smith, Jr., so RJ Barrett becomes the safest benefactor. The rookie has gradually improved each game, culminating in a 48 point fantasy night Monday vs. the Bulls. Barrett has 16, 20, and 15 shot attempts the last three games which means he is getting very comfortable in this offense. That should continue to be the case with more ball handling opportunities today.

Terry Rozier (DK: $6,200 FD: $7,000 Y! $22)

The Hornets' Terry Rozier has a nice matchup with Sacramento's #27 and #24 DvP back court. Rozier saw 14 shots, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists for a 35 point fantasy night on Sunday but saw his production drop a bit (27 fp) in the back-to-back on Monday. The Kings have allowed a 40+ fantasy point night to Ricky Rubio and Damian Lillard already this season and Rozier should approach that tonight.

Caris LeVert (DK: $6,300 FD: $7,000 Y! $26)

Caris LeVert has one disappointing game this season, when he got into foul trouble October 25th vs. the Knicks and managed just 22 fantasy points in 24 minutes. Otherwise LeVert has averaged 38 minutes in his other two games, scoring 36 and 40 fantasy points. There's good price on LeVert for a Brooklyn team that leads the NBA in possessions per game. The Nets are up against not-your-fathers-pacers as well, as Indiana ranks 5th worst in defensive efficiency so far on this young season.

LeVert has had some nice fantasy nights in the wake of Irving's explosive start.

D'Angelo Russell ($7900) looks to finally be getting adjusted to his new Warriors teammates after a season-high 48 point fantasy night on Monday. Devin Booker ($7,900) doesn't cost as much as you'd think going against a Warriors back court allowing 52.02 fp/48 to the SG position.

Forwards

Kelly Oubre, Jr. (DK: $6,200 FD: $6,900 Y!: $30)

The "get revenge on Golden State for beating on us the past 5 years" tour welcomes Phoenix into the bay today. The Warriors have been the league's worst team in terms of defensive efficiency over the first week of the season which means another solid night for Kelly Oubre, Jr. The Suns F was in a perfect lineup in each of the first two games of his season, battled foul trouble but still notched 36 in his third, and had 33 fp vs. the league's best defense (Utah) in his fourth. That's a great start which should continue against a Golden State team that has allowed 120+ points in all three of their games.

Oubre, Jr. has been very consistent and at a nice price.

Bojan Bogdanovic (DK: $5,500 FD: $6,400 Y!: $23)

Could we be starting to see the norm for Bojan Bogdanovic? The Jazz F had been battling an ankle injury for the first few games of the season but looks to have put that behind him after logging 37 minutes the last time out. The results were great too, with an 8-13 shooting night that eventually ended up in 44 fantasy points. Bogdanovic was very efficient coming off Rudy Gobert screens in the game before, going 10-18 and scoring 34 fantasy points in just 27 minutes vs. Sacramento. Utah plays the Clippers in Salt Lake City in what should be a close battle of 3-1 teams. LAC is off to a great start, but is still the 6th worst team in terms of defensive efficiency.

Tobias Harris (DK: $6,700 FD: $7,200 Y! $31)

Tobias Harris had a down fantasy night on Monday, but it was because his shot wasn't falling - not because he was lacking opportunity. Harris had a 5-16 shooting night, but still logged 35+ minutes for the third straight game this season and had 15+ field goal attempts for the 2nd consecutive game. Harris already has a 15 rebound game under his belt this season as well. The Sixers play Minnesota in a game that should see some points, with an O/U of 224.5. The Timberwolves are the 11th best defensive efficiency team in the league through three games, but also push the pace with the 6th most possessions.

Harris is looking at a very green night vs. Minnesota

Pascal Siakam ($8400) has a nice matchup with Detroit's #30 ranked defense vs the PF. Jayson Tatum ($6800) also is in a good fade spot matched up with a Bucks squad that is #2 in pace but has been stout vs. the SF position this season.

Center

Hassan Whiteside (DK: $6,700, FD; $7,500 Y!:$24 )

With so many games on today's slate, there are a lot of talented big men in action. Hassan Whiteside does give you lineup variance though behind Karl-Anthony Towns, Andre Drummond, Joel Embiid, etc. One of the biggest reasons to expect a larger production night from Whiteside is because he's up against an OKC team that could be missing Steven Adams. That means Nerlens Noel and a host of backups if Adams cannot go.

A big night from Whiteside will be solid in tournament plays.

๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Other Likes ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ€

Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,900) has exploded out of the gate with a 74 and an 82 fp night in 2 of his first 3 games this year. Do Towns and Joel Embiid ($10,000) produce up against each other tonight though?

These plump slates are nice for both tournament as well as cash plays. It should be interesting to see how things play out, so make sure to hit up the always entertaining LineStar chat and follow me, Carl Taylor (@dailydogsports), on Twitter for more DFS and sports betting talk.
