Guards
Delon Wright, TOR [vs CLE] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.7k)
It sounds like Lowry is going to be out for at least this game, which will put Delon Wright as the starter again. The Cavs defense has stiffened up a bit since the start of the season but they're certainly still giving up plenty of points. Vegas has this as the highest scoring game at 220 points with only a 1 point spread in favor of Cleveland. With Delon you get a starting point guard who should see around 30 minutes of action for a very low salary tonight.
Tyrone Wallace, LAC [@SAC] (DK: $3.8k, FD: $3.6k)
The Clippers keep losing guys to injuries but somehow keep finding ways to win games and stay in the playoff race. C.J. Williams injured his ankle yesterday and won't play today. It's possible Milos Teodosic and/or Blake Griffin return today, which would push Wallace back to a smaller role, so keep an eye out for those updates. If neither of them play, then continue to roll with Wallace. Vegas already has this as only a 1.5 point game which would seem to indicate at least Griffin won't be playing.
Bryn Forbes, SA [@LAL] (DK: $3.9k, FD: $3.5k)
If you're looking for even more salary relief tonight, Forbes could be your man. Danny Green is officially questionable but closer to doubtful as well as Tony Parker. Forbes has been seeing 30+ minutes per game over the last 5 games as the Spurs deal with injuries. He gets to face the Lakers who are ranked 28th against starting shooting guards allowing 35 fantasy points a game. Forbes doesn't have much upside but if he can put up 25 tonight at this salary in this small slate he may very well find himself in top lineups.
Forwards
LeBron James, CLE [@TOR] (DK: $11.3k, FD: $11.5k)
It's a small slate and LeBron James is the biggest stud of the slate by far, which means follow the Russell Westbrook rule and put him into your lineups. Even if he stumbles a little and only puts up 50 fantasy points he's still very likely to be in the perfect lineup because so few other players can put up that many points. He's going to be highly owned so if he has a huge game and if you're without him, you wont' be able to cash. In 7 games last year versus the Raptors (4 were in the playoffs), LeBron scored 56 or more points in 6 of those games.
LaMarcus Aldridge, SA [@LAL] (DK: $8.5k, FD: $9.9k)
The Spurs will be without Kawhi Leonard once again for today's game. Danny Green is questionable (sounds closer to doubtful) and Tony Parker is doubtful to suit up. Which means Aldridge will have to carry the Spurs once again. It's a good matchup versus a big up-pace Lakers team who are ranked 18th versus starting power forwards allowing 30 fantasy points a game. Vegas has all the games tonight as tight matchups, with only the CLE/TOR game being higher scoring.
Pascal Siakam, TOR [vs CLE] (DK: $4.1k, FD: $3.5k)
Unless he appeals, Serge Ibaka is likely out tonight in order to serve his suspension from his punching mini-brawl with James Johnson on Tuesday. Pascal Siakam will likely start if Serge is out and in his last 5 games as a starter he has averaged 27 fantasy points per game. You can potentially get a starter in what should be the highest scoring game in this small 3 game slate for a near bottom priced salary.
Centers
DeAndre Jordan, LAC [@SAC] (DK: $8.4k, FD: $8.8k)
It's hard to recommend DeAndre at this price range but he is the safest pure center option on this small slate tonight. As is often the case in small slates, the center options are generally a wasteland or more accurately tonight a minefield. If you want to just avoid the minefield of Gasol and Valanciunas then you'll find yourself paying up for Jordan tonight, or if you're playing DraftKings sliding Aldridge into the Center spot. The Clippers keep losing people but Jordan keeps chugging along, he's got 50+ point upside without Blake on the court but you'll have to pay up for that tonight.
Kevin Love, CLE [@TOR] (DK: $7.9k, FD: $6.7k)
Just keeping this simple... the FanDuel price almost forces you to take him on FanDuel tonight due to lack of options. Toronto should be without Ibaka and Lowry making more holes in the defense than usual for the Raptors, which Kevin Love should be able to abuse. He laid a complete dud last game, so a lot of players will likely have a hard time choosing him tonight.
Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [vs CLE] (DK: $5.4k, FD: $6.2k)
With Ibaka likely out tonight, there is a good chance Jonas Valanciunas sees more minutes and that's all he needs in order put up big games. Valanciunas is scoring the 5th most fantasy points per minute of all players on this slate just behind Kevin Love. In the last 2 games that Ibaka missed, Jonas played 22 and 27 minutes, both more than his average minutes played.
