Guards

Jeff Teague, MIN [@DAL] (DK: $6.8k, FD: $6.7k)

Teague has been seeing 34 minutes a game over the last 5, and averaging nearly a fantasy point per minute. His earlier meeting this season versus Dallas he put up 37 fantasy points in 34 minutes. Dallas is 26th versus starting point guards, giving up 38 fantasy points per game. Teague should have a nice safe floor in this matchup, with around a 40 point ceiling.

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN [vs UTA] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $6.5k)

D'Angelo Russell will be out again Friday, likely putting Dinwiddie into the starting lineup again. He's had great games in 2 of his 3 starts this season. Tonight he gets a fairly good matchup against the Utah Jazz who are ranked 24th against starting point guards. However, Ricky Rubio has already been ruled out tonight, which should mean this matchup may get even better for Dinwiddie.

Sindarius Thornwell, LAC [@CLE] (DK: $3k, FD: $3.8k)

At this rock bottom price, you get a guy who is averaging around 29 minutes a game in the starting role for Patrick Beverley who is doubtful tonight. Yes, he's done a lot of nothing so far through 3 games, but will get the easiest matchup yet versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are ranked 28th against starting point guards, allowing 38 fantasy points per game. Thornwell isn't going to blow up for a huge game, but he has a good shot to get to around 22 fantasy points tonight to save you some salary cap space.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE [vs LAC] (DK: $11.2k, FD: $11.4k)

Facing the Clippers here would generally be a matchup to avoid, but they'll be without Patrick Beverley and Danilo Gallinari tonight leaving some big holes in the defense. This is slated as the 2nd highest scoring game of the night with a 222 point over under, and the Cavs being favored by 6.5. As long as this game doesn't get out of hand, and it shouldn't since the Cavs defense is stopping about as much as a wet napkin, then King James should have a good night.

Tobias Harris, DET [@IND] (DK: $6.4k, FD: $6.7k)

Harris is coming off a disappointing game versus the Bucks where he put up 20 fantasy points in 34 minutes, but has the ideal bounce back matchup. The Pacers are ranked 29th versus starting power forwards allowing 34 fantasy points per game. Harris put up 39 fantasy points against the Pacers just 9 days ago, and has a good chance to have a similar performance. For his price, it's hard to find a safer option tonight and with the high ceiling Harris provides.

Jonas Jerebko, UTA [@BKN] (DK: $3.9k, FD: $3.2k)

The Nets have allowed 5 power forwards into perfect lineups over the past 20 games, and they're ranked 22nd allowing 31 fantasy points per game. With Rudy Gobert out, Jonas Jerebko has been tossed into the starting lineup where he's seen between 22 and 25 minutes in his 2 starts. If he can get a couple more than that, in what should be a better matchup for him, he could provide a nice value tonight.

Centers

Nurkic looking golden tonight, despite recent mediocrity.

Jusuf Nurkic, POR [@SAC] (DK: $7k, FD: $7.7k)

Ughh, this is a lot to pay for Nurkic considering he hasn't scored over 29 fantasy points in the last 4 games. However, he has shown he has close to a 50 point ceiling when the matchup is right, and it doesn't get any better than this. The Kings are dead last versus starting centers, allowing 40 fantasy points a game, and allowed 4 of them into the perfect lineup over the last 20 games.

Brook Lopez, LAL [vs PHO] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $5.8k)

Brook Lopez has played 2 games versus the Suns this year where he put up 30 and 35 fantasy points. He's also played more minutes and put up significantly more fantasy points in games that the Lakers were favored to win, and they are favored by 7 points tonight. The Suns will be without Tyson Chandler leaving Greg Monroe and Alex Len leaving an even better matchup for Lopez, neither side of the ball will be able to stop each other in this game.

Greg Monroe, PHO [@LAL] (DK: $4.1k, FD: $3.7k)

Tyson Chandler won't be suiting up tonight, leaving Greg Monroe and Alex Len at center for the Suns. This game is slated as the highest scoring game of the evening at a 227 point over under with the Lakers favored by 7. Monroe costs virtually nothing and just saw 26 minutes in his first game as a member of the Phoenix Suns last night. They likely are trying to build up his trade value, and this is another ideal matchup to do so against the Lakers who are 27th against centers allowing 35 fantasy points a game.
