Top NBA Plays 1/12| Atonement and Postponement

We've got a little bit of COVID positive testing and contact tracing sweeping through NBA locker rooms, causing the postponement of yesterday's Mavs/Pelicans and tonight's Celtics/Bulls games. It's something to watch moving forward, but hopefully, the league gets this under control.

There's still a nice 6-game slate for tonight, headlined by a grab-your-program matchup between the depleted Heat and shorthanded Sixers as well as the still Kyrie-less Nets hosting the Nuggets.

Let's take a look at who's healthy enough to make us wealthy:

Today's NBA Matchups

Heat @ Sixers (-7) , O/U 209.5, 7:00 PM ET

The 76ers are not only ravaged by COVID protocols, they've got to go on a back-to-back after losing at Atlanta last night. Miami is just as shorthanded though. This game is not on the FD main slate.

Notable Injuries: Adebayo, Butler, Dragic, Milton, and Harris are all in health and safety protocol. Curry (ankle) and Simmons (knee) are also questionable.

Nuggets @ Nets (-1), O/U 231 7:30 PM ET

Denver has won 4 of 5, and they get the best pace boost of the night against a Nets squad that has dropped 4 of 6 and gave up 129 points to OKC's fourth worst offense on Sunday.

Notable Injuries: Kyrie Irving (personal) and Michael Porter, Jr. (health and safety) will likely miss this one.

Jazz (-10.5) @ Cavs , O/U 206 7:30 PM ET

Utah is in a possible🕯️Blowout Spot 🕯️ as double digit favorites over a Cleveland team on the back-to-back. The Cavs haven't broken 100 points in their last eight games.

Notable Injuries: Collin Sexton was expected to return Monday but was a late scratch. Joe Ingles is questionable for Utah.

Lakers (-5.5) @ Rockets, O/U 222 8:00 PM ET

This is a rematch of Sunday's game that L.A. won 120-102 behind 27 points from Anthony Davis ($9.8k).

Notable Injuries: John Wall (migraine), Eric Gordon (leg), and Danuel House (back) are all questionable for the Rockets.

Spurs (-2) @ Thunder, O/U 218.5 8:00 PM ET

San Antonio wraps up a 5-game road trip tonight, and they looked tired in a 96-88 loss at Minnesota on Sunday. OKC has won three straight and scored a season high 129 last time out.

Notable Injuries: DeMar DeRozan will miss this game to care for his father.

Pacers @ Warriors (-3), O/U 228 10:30 PM ET

Indiana gets a "pace" boost vs. Golden State's #2 team in tempo, but Indy is also on the b2b after allowing 127 points in a loss to the Kings last night.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander DK $8 k | FD $8.5k

SGA has gone 6X this DK price three straight games, playing a ton of minutes (34+) and getting plenty of shots (14+) over that span. OKC plays the Spurs, who are looking forward to a 5-game road trip wrapping up.

Caris LeVert DK $7.6k | FD $7.9k

Caris LeVert let us down a bit with just a 35fp night, but he gets a great matchup with the Nuggets, the team who gave up the 60 burger to Tyrese Maxey at the PG spot on Saturday.

Tyler Herro DK $6.5k | FD N/A

Tyler Herro gets a great matchup with a Philly team that is not only shorthanded but also on the b2b. Miami is going to barely have the 8 players needed, so expect a ton of usage for Herro, who got 20 shots and 37 minutes on Saturday.

Dennis Schroder $6.1k | FD $5.5k

Great FD pricing for Schroder in the matchup with Houston, who ranks 25th overall vs. the PG position, and has allowed two 55+ games in the last four. Schroder had 33 fp vs. Houston on Sunday despite scoring just 8 points.

Lonnie Walker IV DK $5.4k | FD $5.2k

It's definitely a chase after Lonnie Walker IV went for 39 fp on Sunday. The Spurs are without DeRozan though, giving Walker a 7% usage and 14.48 fp uptick.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Kelly Oubre, Jr. DK $5.3k | FD $5.3k

Kelly Oubre, Jr. has a high of 26 fp the last three games, but Golden State runs a fast tempo and faces an Indiana team that was in an up-pace game against the Kings last night. The Pacers have allowed 43+ fp to Mikal Bridges and Harrison Barnes at the SF spot in consecutive games.

Hamidou Diallo $5.3k | FD $5.5k

It's a $1k price boost for Hamidou Diallo tonight, but he's got a hot hand shooting 8-13 and 10-14 the last two games. OKC plays the Spurs, who are 8th worst in defensive efficiency.

Doug McDermott DK $3.9k | FD $3.7k

McDermott had the hot hand last night, going 8-10 including 3-5 from three point range. He gets another fast paced game tonight vs. Golden State, and gets a 6fp boost with Victor Oladipo likely sitting.

Talen Horton-Tucker DK $3.6k | FD $4.5k

THT had a career high 36fp on Sunday vs. Houston and gets the same matchup tonight except with possibly more usage as the Lakers have a back-to-back tomorrow night at OKC.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Joel Embiid DK $9.7k | FD N/A

Embiid isn't on the FD main slate, but he's $1.3k cheaper than Jokic tonight, playing against a Miami team without Adebayo on the blocks. Philly is on the b2b, but Embiid logged just 23 minutes last night vs. Atlanta.

LaMarcus Aldridge DK $6.3k | FD $7.2k

Aldridge gets a 6% usage boost without DeRozan (and Derrick White) in the lineup and took a season high 21 shots on Sunday. OKC ranks 26th in recent games vs. the C position.
