Guards
Ben Simmons, PHI [vs UTA] (DK: $8.5k, FD: $10.3k)
A hobbled Ricky Rubio hasn't been able to stop much of anyone this season, as the Jazz are currently ranked 24th against starting point guards, allowing 37 fantasy points per game. Simmons put up 52 fantasy points against the Jazz 13 days ago in 36 minutes on the road. Tonight they'll be playing in Philadelphia where Simmons has been a little bit better, and Jazz defense a bit worse.
Jrue Holiday, NO [vs OKC] (DK: $6.4k, FD: $6.3k)
The Thunder are ranked dead last against starting shooting guards, allowing 35 fantasy points per game. Anthony Davis is probable to play, but if he's limited at all, Holiday can expect to pickup some extra usage. Jrue has been seeing close to 37 minutes per game this season, coming off 3 days of rest and only playing 27 minutes last game, he should be at full strength in this close game where there is only a 2.5 point spread in favor of the Thunder.
Patty Mills, SA [vs ATL] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $4.8k)
This will be Patty's 10th game starting this season, he's been seeing close to 30 minutes a game. His ceiling is typically around 30 in the right conditions, and this is an ideal matchup for him to hit the ceiling tonight with a salary below 5k. The Hawks are ranked 30th against starting point guards, allowing 41 fantasy points per game.
Forwards
Andrew Wiggins, MIN [@CHA] (DK: $6.5k, FD: $6.2k)
The Timberwolves may be without Jamal Crawford tonight, so Wiggins could pickup a couple of extra minutes. Wiggins did just play 42 minutes last night, but he wasn't limited in either of their previous back to backs this season. The Hornets are ranked 21st against starting small forwards, allowing 31 fantasy points per game. This game has a 214 point over under, which is kind of low for a standard 11 game slate, but there are no real games that have high point totals tonight.
Tobias Harris, DET [vs CLE] (DK: $6.2k, FD: $6.7k)
Another day, another matchup targeting the Cleveland Cavaliers. You can pretty much pick any position to target against Cleveland, but in this case we're taking the power forward position for which they are ranked 28th against, allowing 32 fantasy points per game. Harris should have a safe floor tonight, with around 40 fantasy point upside. His salary is a decent amount lower than it's been at other times this season, in one of the best matchups he's faced, and should make for a solid choice tonight.
Jae Crowder, CLE [@DET] (DK: $3.9k, FD: $3.9k)
The Detroit Pistons are giving up 34 fantasy points per game to starting power forwards, ranked 29th overall. The Cav's are dealing with some injuries, Rose is still out, and now Shumpert is going to miss around a week of action. The Big 3 will likely pickup most of the slack as usual, but this could allow Crowder to work his way into some more usage. He played well against the Pistons last season as a member of the Celtics. Crowder will make for a decent tournament flier, as he's at his low salary price mark on the season in a good matchup, and may be needed tonight.
Centers
Andre Drummond, DET [vs CLE] (DK: $8.8k, FD: $9.1k)
Drummond has been a monster this season, and one of the most consistent high scoring players. This is another matchup versus the Cavs, who are allowing the 3rd most points scored against them at 112 points per game. This is one of the higher over/unders for this slate at 216 points, and only a 2 point spread in favor of the Cavs. Drummond should be all but guaranteed double digit rebound numbers tonight. This is the back end of a back to back, but he hasn't been limited yet, and he's surely going to be needed to keep this a close game tonight.
Enes Kanter, NY [vs LAC] (DK: $6.3k, FD: $6.3k)
This game has been pegged as what figures to be the closest game on the slate, the Clippers are only favored by a single point. Kanter has only seen 24 minutes each of the last 2 games, and should likely be more needed in this game agains the Clippers. Kanter sees over a fantasy point per minute when he's on the court, the hard part is figuring out when he's going to see close to 30 minutes in order to pay for this salary, and with it being such a tight game, Kanter has a good chance to hit 30 minutes tonight.
Marcin Gortat, WAS [@MIL] (DK: $5.3k, FD: $4.6k)
John Wall is a game time decision tonight, if he's out again Gortat should see increased usage again tonight. If Wall does play, Gortat is likely a fade, however it's still a decent enough matchup to consider in any case. The Bucks are ranked 28th against starting centers, allowing 35 fantasy points per game.
