Guards
Mario Chalmers, MEM [vs DAL] (DK: $5k, FD: $5.6k)
This will be Chalmers 4th game after taking over the point for Mike Conley. His salary has gone up, and it's likely to continue to raise for another two games probably, so you're still getting a discounted Chalmers here. He's been seeing 30 minutes per game since taking over, and has averaged around 30 fantasy points a game as well. Tonight he's got arguably his best matchup since taking over, facing the 29th ranked Mavericks against starting point guards, allowing 40 fantasy points per game.
Allen Crabbe, BKN [@CLE] (DK: $4.6k, FD: $5.6k)
Crabbe has been one of the players benefiting from the D'Angelo Russell injury, by seeing over 30 minutes per game since. Tonight he gets to face the Cavs, who are bleeding points like crazy to every team they face. This matchup is slated to be the highest scoring of the night, with significant blowout risk, but Crabbe is in a great spot to have another great fantasy day at a heckuva bargain salary (more so on DK).
José Calderón, CLE [vs BKN] (DK: $3k, FD: $3k)
Calderon saw 28 minutes and 25 fantasy points in his first start filling in for Shumpert. Tonight he has an even easier matchup versus the Nets, who are 28th against point guards, allowing 39 fantasy points per game. This is the highest scoring game of the slate at 228.5 point over under, however it is a significant blowout risk with the Cavs favored by 10.5 points. Regardless, Calderon should have to play a good amount of minutes as the Cavs are shorthanded without both Derrick Rose and Iman Shumpert. This minimum price salary is pretty surprising, so take advantage of it while you can.
Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL [@PHO] (DK: $11.5k, FD: $12.2k)
If you're looking for a guy to get you 60 fantasy points, the human alphabet is one of the best bets of the night. This game is slated with a 220 point over under, and only a 5.5 spread in favor of the Bucks, most games with a higher over under tonight have significant blowout risks. The Bucks are seeing a huge 10% pace jump when facing the Suns, and they are ranked 22nd against power forwards allowing 31 fantasy points a game. There is of course the Bledsoe revenge narrative too, and likely some of Suns players will have some sort of ill feelings tonight towards him as well. This should be a fun game to watch, so why not get some Giannis in your lineup while you do.
Draymond Green, GS [@OKC] (DK: $7.6k, FD: $7.5k)
Kevin Durant has been upgraded to probable for tonight, but he could still remain somewhat limited in the game. The Thunder have been destroyed by power forwards, ranked 27th and allowing 32 fantasy points per game. This game has a 221 point over under with only a 5 point spread in favor of the Warriors. Draymond Green has a very safe floor at 35 fantasy points tonight with a ceiling into the 40's, especially if Durant is limited.
Denzel Valentine, CHI [@UTA] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $5.1k)
This will be Valentine's 5th start of the season and in his 4 starts he has seen close to 36 minutes per game and 33 fantasy points per start. His salary is going to continue to rise if he remains with this same role. The Bulls are on the back end of a back to back here, as he played 38 minutes last night, but he hasn't been limited yet on the 2nd leg of a back to back yet. It's not often, but facing the Jazz is actually a slight pace improvement for the Bulls, and the Jazz are ranked 28th against small forwards, allowing 33 fantasy points per game.
Centers
Dwight Howard, CHA [vs WAS] (DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.5k)
Howard is coming off 2 games in a row where he put up over 44 fantasy points and played 30 minutes in each. The Wizards are fairly good against starting centers, ranked 11th but when on the road they are significantly worse, giving up 6 fantasy points per game more than when at home. Howard playing this well at this salary range, makes for a nice mid-tier salary pickup tonight in a big slate.
Brook Lopez, LAL [@SAC] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $6.3k)
The Lakers are on the back end of a back to back, but Lopez only played 25 minutes last night, so he should be one of the more rested Lakers tonight. The Kings are ranked dead last against starting centers, allowing 38 fantasy points per game. This is slated to be a very close game, with the Lakers only favored by a single point. Lopez will likely be needed for close to 30 minutes in this great matchup tonight.
Dewayne Dedmon, ATL [vs LAC] (DK: $5.3k, FD: $5.5k)
The Clippers are back to being without Patrick Beverley as of today, who plays a big part in their defense. The Clippers are ranked 27th against starting centers allowing 35 fantasy points per game. 7 days ago when Dedmon had this level of matchup, he went off for 56 fantasy points. While you can't expect that many fantasy points, and Dedmon doesn't have a very safe floor, he does have a very high ceiling tonight.
