Guards
Dennis Schroder, ATL [vs NY] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $7.4k)
Schroder has been having a solid year, he hasn't disappointed yet in neutral to positive matchups. He gets the face the Knicks tonight who are ranked 20th against starting point guards, giving up 36 fantasy points a game. In this price range, Schroder provides a very safe floor, with a mid 40s fantasy point ceiling. In the last 3 meetings with the Knicks he's scored 36 or more fantasy points. With Atlanta dealing with injury problems still, and this game having only a 2 point spread, Schroder should be seeing over 30 minutes again to easily meet or exceed value.
Jeremy Lamb, CHA [@CLE] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.5k)
Batum has been ruled out already so Jeremy Lamb will be starting in his place. Lamb has lucked himself into a great situation tonight, landing the starting gig against the Cavs whose defense makes most opposing players look like superstars. When Lamb was starting earlier in the season with Batum injured he was seeing salaries in the range of 1k higher than now, and also gets to face the 28th ranked defense versus starting shooting guards.
Rajon Rondo, NO [@PHO] (DK: $4.9k, FD: $5.5k)
Rondo has been building his stamina since returning from injury, this will be his 5th start and likely doesn't have much of a minutes limit left. He's yet to have a breakout game, hence the low salary but this game could certainly be a setup for Rondo to throw down. Vegas has this game as the highest scoring of the main slate by far at a 230.5 point over under, with a 6.5 spread in favor of the Pelicans. It's close enough that there isn't a huge blowout risk, and there are going to be plenty of points up for grabs for Rondo.
Forwards
Anthony Davis, NO [@PHO] (DK: $10.7k, FD: $11.3k)
It's hard not to like Davis tonight, playing in the highest scoring game on the slate. Getting to face the Suns who offer a 5% pace bump with the 27th ranked defense versus starting power forwards. He's right at the high range of his playable salary, but offers an amazing ceiling. Just remember that anytime you start Anthony Davis to make sure to perform a special prayer to the injury gods that they not smite AD tonight.
John Collins, ATL [vs NY] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $5.7k)
The Hawks have been dealing with a bunch of little injuries, and now Luke Babbitt is set to miss his 2nd game which should put John Collins into the starting lineup again. He's seeing 36 and 38 minutes over the last 2 games, and should be set to handle a bunch of minutes again tonight. The downside here is that the matchup is a lot harder versus the Knicks tonight who are ranked 5th against power forwards.
Bojan Bogdanovic, IND [vs TOR] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $4.9k)
Bogdanovic has been a hard man to pin down this season, but he's seen 35 minutes 3 games in a row now. He gets to face the Raptors who are ranked 29th against starting small forwards, allowing 33 fantasy points a game. This game has a 215 point over under, which is 3rd highest on the night, and the Pacers are going to be shorthanded without CJ Miles tonight.
Centers
Dwight Howard, CHA [@CLE] (DK: $7k, FD: $7.6k)
Howard has been on a tear over the last 3 games, and now with Batum out will have to pickup a little extra usage as well. He gets to face the Cavs who are ranked 20th versus starting centers allowing 32 fantasy points a game. It certainly looks like he can't keep repeating these monster games, but the conditions tonight are helping facilitate that he almost has to have a big game for the Hornets to stay close.
Dewayne Dedmon, ATL [vs NY] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.5k)
As noted on other players, the Hawks are a little short handed due to injuries. John Collins has the start but both him and Dedmon are prone to getting into foul troubles. If Collins has a few early fouls and Dedmon behaves either one of these guys can be in line for big minutes and a nice fantasy performance.
Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [@IND] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $4.5k)
Valanciunas has had some unfortunate matchup luck over the month of November seeing primarily very hard matchups. The benefit being that his price has remained low and now gets to face the Pacers who are 25th against starting centers allowing 35 fantasy points per game. Valanciunas saw them 3 times last season, and averaged 35 fantasy points a game. For the price tag, it'll be hard to find a guy with higher upside tonight, but his floor is never safe.
