Luka Doncic is priced at $11.4k tonight, easily the highest salary of any player. It's not like that cost isn't warranted as the MVP candidate has posted 70+ fantasy points in 4 of the last 6. With a 2-game slate though, you're either All-IN or All-OUT on Doncic. Do you take the guaranteed 60+ for your cash games - or fade and hope for a rare bad night from Doncic to get near the top of a GPP? DFS is a lovely frustrating animal sometimes.

Tonight's DFS Headlines

The Luka Show hosts the Clippers tonight with LA being -2.5 favorites on the road. Los Angeles has a game tomorrow, so do we see Kawhi Leonard ($8.8k) and/or Paul George ($8.2k) sit - thus raising the value of the other.

The second game of the night sees the Nuggets hosting the Wizards and their very last ranked defense. Denver would seem like a team to target, but they also average just 106 points per game and have the 4th slowest pace in the league.

Guards

Gary Harris DK $4.2k | FD $4.5k

The production of Gary Harris has been atrocious lately, with just one game reaching the 20 fp plateau in his last 4. In a 2-gamer though, you have to take chances and the matchup Harris has with Washington is one to exploit. 5 straight SG's have hit at least 25 points vs. the Wizards including Bryn Forbes having a 40+ point night when he averages 19. At the very least, Harris gets the minutes (34+ in 7 of the last 8) which is all you ask for a defense this bad.

Lou Williams DK $6.3k | $7.2k

The Clippers have the Grizzlies tomorrow night, so LA may go all in to send a message and shut down the Doncic hype train. Then again - they might not. If George or Leonard sit, that gives Lou Williams a boost in scoring opportunities off the bench. Williams has a 16 and a 21 fga attempt game over his last 5 and has also posted a 15 FT made night in another. He played just 25 minutes last game, but that was in a 134-109 Clippers blowout. The spread is just 2.5 tonight and 32+ minutes in three games prior.

Ish Smith DK $4.3k | FD $4.2k

If you're looking for upside for the price, there aren't many better options than Ish Smith on this two game slate. Smith will come off the Washington bench in what is supposed to be a big Denver win. Smith has a 32 and a 35 point fantasy night in two of the last three, which is pushing 8X value. Even if the blowout doesn't hit, Washington is on leg one of the B2B so they'd be wise to limit starter minutes with a more winnable trip to Phoenix coming up tomorrow night.

Nobody would fight you for getting Doncic in the lineup tonight. The real risk would be spending for Jamal Murray ($7.4k) as the 6th highest priced player on the slate with an implied blowout coming. Bradley Beal ($9.3k) has 50+ in 4 of the last 6 but Washington may rest him on leg one of the B2B.

Forwards

Will Barton DK $6.1k | FD $6.7k

He should be chalk city tonight because of the a) size of the slate, b) price, and c) the fact that the Nuggets are up against the Wizards. That doesn't mean Will Barton shouldn't be in your lineup, however. Washington has allowed 45+ fp to both DeMar DeRozan and Miles Bridges in the last week and Harrison Barnes just had a 7/8 night from the field from the SF position on Sunday vs. them. Barton has at least a dozen shots in 7 of 8 and the Wizards, overall, are the worst defensive team in the Association.

Paul Millsap DK $5.4k | FD $6.6k

Somebody on the Nuggets is going to have a value game vs. the Wizards. The way Paul Millsap has been playing it might as well be him. Millsap has two 23 real point games in his last four and has grabbed at least 5 rebounds in 9 of his last 10. Washington just allowed a 12 rebound game to Nemanja Bjelica on Sunday at the PF spot, which looks good for Millsap.

Davis Bertans DK $5.2k | FD $6k

Shouldn't be hard for Davis Bertans to hit value here, as he's priced right and should get the minutes as Washington is a +9.5 point underdog. Washington is also on the first game of a back-to-back, which should give even more time to reserves. Bertans has at least 10 field goal attempts in 5 straight games and has at least 5 rebounds in the last 4. He even has broken the 40 fp barrier once in that span.

Rui Hachimura ($4.5k) could be an under the radar play as Dario Saric just scored a 17 rebound night from the PF spot vs. the Nuggets.

Center

Thomas Bryant DK $5.8k | FD $6.8k

For whatever reason, Thomas Bryant hits value in the slow methodical games he's supposed to struggle in. That's exactly the situation the Washington C is in tonight when the Wizards visit the Nuggets. Denver runs the 4th slowest pace in the league and has ranked 7th defensively vs. opposing C's. Bryant's best games lately have come against Charlotte (38 fp against #22 pace), Cleveland (42 fp vs. #23 pace), and Indiana (38 fp vs. #24 pace). The Washington center had a 20 point, 14 rebound night vs. Denver last March - we'd take that tonight.

Anybody trusting Nikola Jokic ($9.8k) for that price and coming off a 4-9 shooting night? Kristaps Porzingis ($6.9k) might be the only other ceiling option in the middle tonight.
