Guards
C.J. McCollum, POR [@NY] (DK: $6.9k, FD: $6.8k)
CJ has been hot over the past couple games, he's hit the 40 fantasy point mark in 3 of the last 7 games. He also seems to have some better chemistry with Harkless off the court, and Pat Connaughton starting. The Knicks are beat up dealing with some injuries, and are only ranked 18th against starting shooting guards. McCollum offers a pretty solid floor, with nice ceiling for his current salary.
T.J. McConnell, PHI [vs CLE] (DK: $4.7k, FD: $5.4k)
There hasn't been an update about Ben Simmons yet, but if he remains out for this game this will be the no brainer play of the day. Facing the Cavs defense which ranks 28th against starting point guards, allowing 37 fantasy points a game. If Simmons does play, just swap him into your lineup, obviously for a lot more salary.
Patty Mills, SA [vs DAL] (DK: $4.3k, FD: $4.6k)
The cheap option for guard tonight, he put up 37 fantasy points last time facing Dallas 13 days ago. The Mavericks are ranked dead last against starting point guards, allowing a whopping 41 fantasy points a game. This is the lowest scoring game of the night, and is at risk of a blowout, but Patty has only seen 24 minutes in the last 2 games on 2 days of rest, so has a good chance to go 30 tonight.
Forwards
LeBron James, CLE [@PHI] (DK: $11.4k, FD: $12k)
Vegas has this as the game to target with a 225 point over/under and only a 1 point spread in favor of Cleveland, leaving lots of points up for grab tonight. The matchup is not ideal but for superstars like King James you can throw the matchup out the window.
Dario Saric, PHI [vs CLE] (DK: $5.2k, FD: $5.5k)
This play is a bit better if Simmons sits, but Saric should be considered regardless tonight. Facing the Cavs means a green light special, they're 28th against starting power forwards allowing 34 fantasy points a game. Saric can be a bit maddening at times, because of his inconsistency with his shot. Which makes him a tournament only play, he has a 40 point ceiling, but a 20 point floor.
Lance Stephenson, IND [vs ORL] (DK: $4.1k, FD: $4.6k)
Another no brainer lock of the day if Victor Oladipo misses tonight. There has been no update in Olad yet, so keep an eye out for injury updates. The Magic are ranked 26th against starting shooting guards and allow 31 fantasy points a game. This is another case where if Victor Oladipo is going to play and starts, the matchup is good enough that he would warrant a play as well.
Centers
Nikola Vucevic, ORL [@IND] (DK: $7.3k, FD: $8.1k)
Vucevic outmatched the Pacers just 7 days ago, putting up nearly 50 fantasy points. He costs slightly more this go around, but it's an excellent matchup against the Pacers who are ranked 26th against starting centers allowing 36 fantasy points a game.
Tarik Black, HOU [vs BKN] (DK: $3.5k, FD: $3.1k)
Vegas has this game as the highest scoring game of the night at 228.5 points but also a huge blowout with the Rockets who are favored by 17 points. Nene Hilario is dealing with a strained shoulder and is out, which leaves Tarik Black as the sole backup center in a game that is guaranteed to have maximum need for a backup role.
Zaza Pachulia, GS [vs SAC] (DK: $3.1k, FD: $3.7k)
It's possible Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant all sit tonight, which would leave Pachulia and Thompson as the sole remaining starters. This would dramatically increase his usage and would be in line for a huge day. Add to that it's a great matchup against the Kings who can't stop centers at all this season. They are ranked 29th against starting centers allowing 37 fantasy points a game.
