Top NBA Plays 11/27 | Talk About Stuffing...
With just two games on the NBA schedule yesterday and an off day for Thanksgiving tomorrow, that means tonight's plate is stuffed to the gizzards with 14 games. It's the perfect night for lineup variance and a great chance to really make some loot before blowing it all on TV's on Black Friday. Well, let's see what's in store:
Tonight's DFS Headlines
The Bucks look to be getting Khris Middleton ($6.8k) back when they host Atlanta tonight. These two teams combined for 262 points when they met last Wednesday.
The Clippers are on the back-to-back when they visit Memphis tonight. Paul George ($8.6k) and Kawhi Leonard ($9k) both logged less than 30 minutes last night, so make sure to check the LineStar lineup optimizer to see if they indeed play tonight. The 8:00 PM ET start helps a bit in that regard. *UPDATE - Kawhi is out tonight.
Kemba Walker ($6.7k) also looks to be back in the lineup tonight after missing the last game with a neck injury. It's a good matchup for the Celtics with a pace boost against Brooklyn, for whom Kyrie Irving will miss the contest against his former team.
It's a ๐จMEGA REVENGE GAME๐จwhen the Anthony Davis ($10k) trade comes full circle as the Lakers visit the Pelicans. Brandon Ingram ($8.3k) is also up against his old mates on Los Angeles but Lonzo Ball will likely miss this tilt.
The #30 ranked Washington defense gave up 117 points to Denver last night and is on the back leg of consecutive games when they visit the Suns. Could be a good game to target the Suns bench, as the O/U is 242.5 in this one with Phoenix favored by 8.
The Spurs defense continues to slide, as they are now the 3rd worst team in the league in efficiency. That bodes well for targeting the visiting Timberwolves who lead the league in possessions per game.
Guards
Ricky Rubio DK $5.5k | FD $6.8k
There are some questions surrounding Ricky Rubio tonight such as a) will he return to the lineup after missing 3 games with back spasms b) is he going to be slowly worked back and c) how much will the Suns need him anyway as 8 point favorites over the Wizards? Even so, you don't want to be left in the cold when your grandkids ask where were you when Rubio was priced at $5.5k. Rubio had 44+ in 3 of 4 prior to his injury and is up against the Wizards' Isaiah Thomas who employs the defense optional approach. Frank Kaminsky is also a little bit more athletic at the 5 compared to the injured Aron Baynes which definitely is more suitable to Rubio's style.
Coby White DK $5.5k | $5.5k
Forgive his 19 point fantasy output on Monday, that's what happens when you shoot 3-13 from the field. Coby White still becomes a must-play for the Bulls tonight against Golden State's #2 worst team in defensive efficiency. The Warriors have allowed 34 or more fantasy points to 5 straight PG's. White shot 12/19 on Saturday vs. Charlotte and can have a similar type of game vs. GSW.
Kemba Walker DK $6.7k | FD $7.5k
He was hovering around $8-9k before his neck injury, so you have to take a look at Kemba Walker returning tonight at this price. The Celtics get a pace boost vs. Brooklyn. Walker had 17+ field goal attempts in 7 of 8 games prior to getting hurt. If he's even reasonably healthy, this is great value.
Tonight:
#Celtics: Kemba Walker - Probable (neck)
#Nets: Kyrie Irving - Out (disinterest, fear)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($4.5k) could be a nice value play vs. the Pelicans' #3 pace and 4th worst defense. Eric Bledsoe ($7.1k) takes a hit with Middleton back in the lineup for Milwaukee.
Forwards
Carmelo Anthony DK $5.9k | FD $5.8k
Is this a ๐จMini Revenge Game๐จ for Carmelo Anthony, who spent a minute or two with Oklahoma City? The shots are starting to come for Carmelo with his new team Portland, as he had 20 field goal attempts on Monday vs. the Bulls to go along with 8 rebounds. It's a nice matchup vs. the Thunder too, as they are 30th vs. the PF position and just got lit up for back-to-back 60 point games by Anthony Davis.
Andrew Wiggins DK $7.7k | FD $8.3k
We've come a long way to get to the point that San Antonio is a defense to target but that's where the Spurs are at with their #28 defensive efficiency. San Antonio struggles against the back court and especially on the wing, which bodes well for Andrew Wiggins tonight. Wiggins is expected to get the start at the point in the role that LeBron James plays for the Lakers. James just had a 14 assist night vs. the Spurs on his way to 60+ fp. Wiggins had 50+ in 3 of 4 before missing three games. He should regain his groove tonight vs. San Antonio. If not, he goes into the fade box.
Kelly Oubre, Jr. DK $6.9k | FD $6.9
It's another ๐จRevenge Game๐จ this time for Kelly Oubre, Jr. against Washington whom he played 252 games for in his career. It also works out that the Wizards are on 0 days rest and have the worst defense in the league. Oubre went for 20/4/5 in his only game against the Wizards last season but has gone for 43+ fp in 3 of his last 6.

Paul George ($8.6k) should see an ownership drop on the back end of consecutive games. Brandon Ingram ($8.3k) has been in a DK perfect lineups 3 times the last month and is up against his old squad the Lakers tonight.
Center
Thomas Bryant DK $6.0k | FD $6.7k
A great GPP play for tonight is Thomas Bryant because with 27 other teams in action, why would you go back to the Washington center who is on 0 days rest? Well, he did play just 17 minutes last night and finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 assists vs. the Nuggets. Normally Bryant is better in the slower paced games, but what you really like about him here is that he averaged 24 points and 16 boards vs. Phoenix last season. Worth a flier to see if Bryant just loves this matchup.
๐๐ Other Likes / Dislikes ๐๐
Obviously Anthony Davis ($10k) looks like a strong building block(if he plays) vs. his old team New Orleans. Joel Embiid ($9.1k) also averaged 25 points and 17 rebounds in 2 games vs. Sacramento last year.

Today's SuperDraft multiplier must-play is Anthony Davis (gtd-shoulder). He has 19+ fg in 3 of the last 4 but could put up 30 tonight in his return to New Orleans. The Pelicans also have the 4th worst defense in the league and the #3 pace.
