Top NBA Plays 11/29 | Green Friday
With the turkey trots behind us, it's time to look for some Black Friday "Floorbusters" as we embark on this glorious 13 game slate. Well, with the Celtics @ Nets game being a 12:00 PM ET start the main card is down to 'only' 12 games. Every team is rested after a day off Thursday, so let's see how the docket breaks down:
Tonight's DFS Headlines
The Wizards @ Lakers game is interesting, as Los Angeles is up against the league's worst defense with a betting total of 235. LA is also a -11.5 home favorite though, so how much of LeBron James ($11.2k) or Anthony Davis ($10k) will we see in this one?
Another game with a high betting total is the Mavs @ Suns with an O/U of 232. Obviously the big name in this one is Luka Doncic ($11.8k), who will try to bounce back from a 4-14 night on Tuesday.
It's Kawhi Leonard ($9.3k) ๐จRevenge Game๐จ yet again in the Clippers @ Spurs game. Leonard went for 38 points and 12 rebounds against his old squad on Halloween but that was also without Paul George ($8.8k) in the lineup. The Spurs have dipped all the way to 2nd worst in defense.
It could be another big night for the OKC offense who have put up 119+ in 3 of their last 6 games. In the Thunder @ Pelicans game, New Orleans has allowed 120 or more points in 3 of the last 4.
The total in the Chicago @ Portland game is up there at 225. Proceed with caution though, as the Bulls had two quarters scoring just 17 points on Wednesday against Golden State's #27 ranked defense. That being said, Zach Lavine ($7k) does have a 36 and a 49 real point night over his last three.
Guards
Devonte Graham DK $6.9k | FD $7.2k
Devonte Graham seemed to like the matchup with Detroit on Wednesday, taking 15 shots while dishing out 15 assists and grabbing 7 rebounds. The Hornets play the Pistons again tonight, albeit this time in Detroit. The Pistons struggling vs. a SG is no enigma, as they've also allowed 45+ fp nights to Deandre Bembry and Shaq Harrison in the last five. Graham has been consistent with at least 13 shots, 6 assists, and 34 minutes in five straight games.
Kendrick Nunn DK $5.6k | $5.6k
Jimmy Butler (illness) is a GTD for tonight and may just sit as the Heat are 12 point favorites at home vs. Golden State. Justise Winslow is also just one game back from the concussion protocol so there should be opportunities for Kendrick Nunn for Miami. Even though Chicago scored just 90 points, Zach Lavine had nearly 60 fp from the SG position vs. GSW on Wednesday.
Zach Lavine DK $7.0k | FD $7.1k
Portland has done a good job defensively vs. opposing SGs as of late, giving up a max of 29 points to JJ Redick in the last 5. Chicago's Zach Lavine is kind of in a mode right now though, launching 24+ shots in 2 of the last 3 games. Lavine is averaging 34.3 real points per game over the last three, even though Chicago has been held to 94 or less as a team in two of those. The Bulls have 108 implied points vs. the Blazers tonight in a game with a total of 225.

It's a nice game for Milwaukee to continue to ease Khris Middleton ($6.4k) back into the lineup as 10 point favorites over Cleveland. Middleton took 13 shots in 20 minutes on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($6.8k) has struggled on the road in the last two, but he's back home where he's posted 35+ fp in three straight. Lou Williams ($7k) had 18 shots and 13 assists Wednesday which should continue vs. San Antonio's (lack of) defense.
Forwards
Jaren Jackson, Jr. DK $6.0k | FD $6.3k
Memphis' Jaren Jackson, Jr. is projected for 26 points tonight but that would be a down game. The PF has become a major focal point in the Grizzlies offense with 15+ field goal attempts in each of the last 3 games. Jackson shot just 5-17 on Wednesday, but was still able to reach 30fp for the 4th time in the last 5 games. Memphis hosts Utah tonight, but Jackson actually gets a production increase in down-pace games. The Jazz have dropped to 9th in defensive efficiency and have allowed 120+ points in three straight. Giannis Antetokounmpo just went for 83 fp from the PF spot vs. the Jazz on Monday which also bodes well for Triple J.
Jabari Parker DK $6.2k | FD $7.0k
Not much of a price hike for Jabari Parker after he put up a 10x 65 point DFS night on Wednesday. That production has to be taken with a grain of salt against the Bucks (fast pace, former team) but you like the 23 field goal attempts and 14 boards Parker put up. The Hawks play the Pacers tonight and Indiana has a top 8 defense which does help keep ownership low. Indiana has still given up a 50+ fp night to Jonathan Isaac of Orlando and 38+ to Jaren Jackson at the PF position in the past week.
Kevin Love DK $7.1k | FD $8.1k
Not a horrible price for Kevin Love up against Milwaukee's #2 pace in the league. Love has struggled a bit coming back from concussion symptoms with just 17 fantasy points in each of the last two on a combined 5-17 shooting. Love says he feels better, which is good vs. a Bucks team that just gave up a 60+ point fp night to Jabari Parker at the PF spot.

Can LeBron James ($11.2k) get to the 60 fp range against Washington or does LBJ rest in a blowout? Kawhi Leonard ($9.3k) hasn't broken the 46 fp barrier in any of the last four, but that should change vs. the Spurs. Giannis Antetokounmpo ($12k) has broken the 80 ceiling in 2 of the last 4, but the Bucks have Cleveland tonight in another possible blowout.
Center
Dwight Powell DK $4.1k | FD $4.9k
It shouldn't be hard for Dwight Powell to hit max value tonight at that price. The Mavs have a very favorable matchup on the blocks with Phoenix, who have allowed 35+ fp to 4 of the past 5 C's they've faced which includes Thomas Bryant, Nikola Jokic, and Richaun Holmes. Dallas gets a slight pace boost vs. Phoenix and Powell sees a 47% production increase in up-tempo games. Powell likes the Suns matchup as well, putting up a decent 11/11/3 line when the teams met last April.

The price is up there on Andre Drummond ($9.2k) tonight but he had a 14 point, 21 rebound, 7 assist night vs. Charlotte on Wednesday. The Pistons host the Hornets Friday. Anthony Davis ($10k) just took 30 shots against New Orleans on Wednesday but the Lakers are favored by a dozen over Washington tonight. Does that give value to Javale McGee (4.2k) who had a 20/15 night vs. the Wizards last April?
