Guards

D'Angelo Russell, BKN [@LAL] (DK: $7.9k, FD: $7.5k)

A homecoming revenge game for Russell, returning to Los Angeles. Surely he's going to want to show the Lakers, and more specifically Magic Johnson, that he can step up and be a leader. Showing off the #2 pick, who replaced him, will certainly have some appeal as well. Russell hasn't played more than 30 minutes in a single game this season yet, but this could be the game that he asks the coach for some extra time. The Lakers are 29th against starting point guards, giving up 42 FPPG, Lonzo Ball hasn't been able to slow down anyone this year.

Bradley Beal, WAS [vs CLE] (DK: $7.4k, FD: $8k)

Beal has been pretty hard to predict this year, but this should be a good high scoring game in which Beal has a good matchup. The last three shooting guards to face the Cavs were E’Twaun Moore, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Victor Oladipo. Moore and Hardaway had their best performances of the season, and Oladipo outperformed projections. Beal just had his best game of the season on Wednesday, and he’ll have a good matchup to continue that performance into this game.

Jarrett Jack, NY [vs PHO] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $5k)

He averaged close to 31 minutes a game in his first 3 starts, but only saw 20 minutes in the last outing. Jack's arrival in the starting lineup has coincided with the Knicks starting to win some games, so there should be no reason for him not to see those minutes in a game where they are favored. He should easily meet or exceed his projection tonight against the 30th ranked defense versus starting point guards, allowing 47 FPPG.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE [@WAS] (DK: $10.6k, FD: $10.6k)

A lot of talk about how bad the Cavs have been, and a lot of LeBron acting like he’s cool and doesn’t care because he’s been to 7 straight Finals in a horrible conference. Basically, the same thing that happened last year. But we know LeBron will show up for the games against the contenders. The Wizards have the third best odds of winning the East, and are favored tonight over the Cavs. A motivated LeBron is a scary thing of which I definitely want a piece. Not to mention, this game has the second highest over/under and the Wizards don’t matchup with small forwards well. And the last time LeBron went to Washington, he put up 32 points, 7 rebounds and 17 assists.

TJ Warren, PHO [@NY] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $6.2k)

I may be a little biased because Warren carried my team on Wednesday, but he looks like he’s going to have a breakout year. With a solid over/under and an opponent the Suns should be able to keep up with in the Knicks, Warren looks to be in a solid matchup tonight. Before last game, he wasn’t getting a ton of playing time, but it sounds like they are going to try to play him more, and get him more touches in isolation.

Kyle Kuzma (DK: $4.7k, FD: $4.7k) / Julius Randle (DK: $4.7k, FD: $4.7k), LAL [vs BKN]

Both are solid options tonight with Larry Nance Jr. going down last night. Kuzma has been the more consistent of the two of late, so he’s the more obvious selection to take advantage of the added minutes. With that said, more people will be on him, so I like him as more of a cash play. I really like Randle as a tournament play, however. The Lakers played last night, and Kuzma got more minutes than Randle, so I can easily see Randle getting the larger bump in minutes tonight. Also, Randle is starting to embrace his new role with the team after being openly displeased with it to start the year, so he’s trending upwards in the minds of the coaching staff.

Centers - Cousins or Brothers Lopez?

DeMarcus Cousins, NO [@DAL] (DK: $11.5k, FD: $12k)

It’s always hard not to love Cousins, but he’s frequently rewarded those who have taken him and he has a good matchup tonight. The Mavs are ranked 26th in fantasy points allowed against Centers in their past 20 games. Boogie gonna boogie tonight.

Brook Lopez, LAL [vs BKN] (DK: $5.9k, FD: $5.2k)

A lot of action on this game, but it’s the highest over/under by a good amount, and the Larry Nance injury freed up some minutes for the Lakers’ big men. This is more of a FanDuel play as he is relatively much cheaper there. Lopez gets a great matchup individually, as the Nets are bad against every position but SG, where the Nets 34 FPPG in their last 20 games against Centers. That’s some good value if Lopez can hit that.

Robin Lopez, CHI [@ORL] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $6.2k)

The other Lopez twin, Robin Lopez has a positive matchup tonight while all other Bulls have an average or bad matchup. Orlando also plays at a higher pace, which should see an uptick in production for Robin as well. He has had 4 solid games, and 2 bad games so far this year, so we’re still waiting on a breakout game. This is definitely a good matchup for that to happen, although with the Bulls there’s always that good possibility they will get blown out. Even if it’s not a breakout game, there is still a good shot at a solid return on your pick.

Lopez Bros are heating up, both have prime "value" matchups tonight @ Center
