Guards
Russell Westbrook, OKC [vs SAC] (DK: $11.5k, FD: $12.2k)
The Russell Westbrook rule does not apply tonight, although it is a small slate there are also multiple other top tier options tonight if you're paying up. This game is a lower point total at 209.5 and the Thunder are favored by 11.5 points so it could be a blowout, but if it is in all likelihood that means Westbrook himself did the blowing out and he ended up fine. It's not a great matchup, which is actually good for Westbrook as he tends to play up to the level of matchup he's facing.
Eric Gordon, HOU [@LAC] (DK: $7.2k, FD: $7.6k)
This game has the 2nd highest point total at 228.5 points making it a very attractive target tonight. Gordon has seen his usage rise by 3% and his fantasy point total increase by 13 points per game with Harden's injury. Lou Williams on the other side of the ball is in the bottom quarter of the league in defensive rating. Though the Clippers overall are ranked 7th versus starting shooting guards, with all of their injuries that rank is between a large mix of lineups.
Klay Thompson, GS [@CLE] (DK: $6.4k, FD: $6.7k)
This game has the highest point total for the main slate at a very high 230.5 points with the Warriors being favored by 5.5 points. Klay is priced at a very nice salary tonight in such a high scoring game where they're going to need him to take some shots. The Cavs are ranked 29th against starting shooting guards allowing 34 fantasy points a game.
Forwards
Derrick Favors, UTA [vs IND] (DK: $6k, FD: $6.3k)
Favors will get to matchup versus Domantas Sabonis who has allowed the last 3 centers faced to exceed their average fantasy points per game. The Pacers who have been playing worse defense on the road now have to face the Jazz in Salt Lake City which has the 2nd highest altitude for NBA stadiums just behind Denver. The Jazz are still without Gobert for a while longer and while Favors hasn't had a big game lately, he's still capable of having one.
Gerald Green, HOU [@LAC] (DK: $5.3k, FD: $4.6k)
Vegas has this game as extremely high scoring with a 228.5 point total and the Rockets favored by 3 points. You're definitely going to want some pieces of this game tonight and Green's salary has stayed low making him a very nice target tonight. He flopped in his 'revenge' game on Friday, so maybe that'll keep his ownership low tonight. With all of the injuries the Clippers have dealt with, they're pretty much starting 3rd string backups now, making for an excellent matchup for Green.
Jonas Jerebko, UTA [vs IND] (DK: $3.5k, FD: $3.5k)
Thabo Sefolosha is likely done for the season with a knee injury, when he's out for the game Jerebko is seeing close to 7 extra minutes and a slight usage increase. Rodney Hood also sees a decent bump in minutes. This is really only a tournament play as Jerebko is very inconsistent, but he does have 30 fantasy point upside which makes him an attractive target at this bare minimum salary range.
Centers
Kevin Love, CLE [vs GS] (DK: $7.6k, FD: $7k)
Kevin Love is fairly cheap tonight while being a part of the highest scoring game of the night. Love went off for 55 points when they faced the Warriors in late December. The Warriors are are a 6 point favorite in this game and if the Cavs want to keep this close both LeBron and Kevin Love are going to be busy tonight. Both are good options but Kevin Love is significantly more affordable.
Steven Adams, OKC [vs SAC] (DK: $6.2k, FD: $7k)
If you decide to fade Westbrook then you might want to take Adams as he tends to do the mop up duty in their blowout games. The Thunder and favored by 11.5 points here and this game could easily become a blowout tonight. In games that the Thunder have been favored by at least 10 points, Adams is scoring 38 fantasy points a game.
Willie Reed, LAC [vs HOU] (DK: $4.3k, FD: $4.3k)
Willie Reed is only an option if DeAndre Jordan were to miss tonight's game. So make sure to watch news leading up to the game tonight before you decide to play him. He went off for 43 fantasy points on Saturday and while he's not likely to repeat that, at his current salary level he's certainly capable of providing more than enough value.
