Top NBA Plays 1/13| Still a Very Nice Card

We've got three more postponements tonight with Utah @ Washington, Atlanta @ Phoenix, and Orlando @ Boston all canceled due to contact tracing. Everyone is sick of the term, but this is the 'new normal' in the NBA right now.

At least we still have a very nice 7-game slate to sift through, headlined by the return (?) of Kristaps Porzingis but also Lebron James and Kevin Durant on back-to-backs. Let's see what we got:

Today's NBA Matchups

Mavs (-4) @ Hornets , O/U 220.5, 7:00 PM ET

Dallas should be well rested after their game was canceled Monday. That also means the season debut of Kristaps Porzingis ($8.4k) may be a reality.

Notable Injuries: Jalen Bruson, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Josh Richardson are all in the health and safety protocol.

Bucks (-11) @ Pistons , O/U 226.5 7:00 PM ET

Detroit gets the best pace boost of the night, and two games against the Bucks last week both went over 240 total points scored.

Nets (-6) @ Knicks , O/U 219.5 7:30 PM ET

The Nets are on the back-to-back after beating Denver 122-116 last night. That always puts the status of Kevin Durant ($9.4k) in jeopardy.

Grizzlies @ Timberwolves (-2.5), O/U 222 8:00 PM ET

This is a great game to target...last year. Minnesota and Memphis ran the #1 and #7 pace a year ago, but this year the T'Wolves are 7th and Memphis 16th.

Notable Injuries: Karl-Anthony Towns is questionable, but sat out last game mostly because of the b2b.

Lakers (-7) @ Thunder, O/U 218 8:00 PM ET

L.A. and OKC are both on the back-to-back. Lebron James ($9.6k) and Anthony Davis ($9k) both logged less than 30 minutes last night.

Notable Injuries: Davis is questionable with a toe injury.

Pelicans @ Clippers (-7), O/U 218 10:00 PM ET

New Orleans hopes some extra time off lets them hit the reset button. The Pels' haven't played since Friday after Monday's game was postponed, and are currently on a 3-game losing streak.

Notable Injuries: JJ Redick will likely play through hamstring tightness but the status of Eric Bledsoe (eye) and Lonzo Ball (knee) is murkier.

Trail Blazers (-3.5) @ Kings, O/U 236.5 10:00 PM ET

The Kings gave up 122 points to the Pacers last night - and that was considered a good defensive outing. Sacramento had allowed at least 124 in four straight including a 137 and a 144 point outing.

Notable Injuries: Damian Lillard, Richaun Holmes, and Buddy Hield are expected to play through ankle injuries. Jusuf Nurkic left the last game with a quad injury.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

CJ McCollum DK $8.6 k | FD $9.2k

McCollum gets a matchup with the Kings tonight - and they're bad when rested let alone on the back-to-back. McCollum dropped 37 real points on Sacramento on Saturday and should continue to see nice usage with Lillard playing through an ankle ailment.

LaMelo Ball DK $7.4k | FD $7.4k

LaMelo Ball has hit 6X this price in two straight, which might just be the norm for the talented rookie. Ball had 22/8/5 in 29 minutes vs. Dallas earlier this season.

Dillon Brooks DK $6.3k | FD $6.3

He got back in the 40+ club for the first time in six games, a trend that should continue in a fast paced game against Minnesota's 3rd worst defense.

Malik Beasley $6.7k | FD $5.8k

Beasley has been launching lately, taking 38 shots in a two game series with the Spurs including 20 when Towns played on Saturday.

Dennis Schroder DK $6.1k | FD $5.9k

It's time to get back on the Dennis Schroder train as all he was doing in yesterday's abysmal 22 fp output against Houston is driving down ownership for tonight's revenge game against OKC.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Kevin Durant DK $9.4k | FD $10.1k

$200 separates Durant and Lebron, but the better value tonight seems to be KD. Both are on the b2b, but Durant has gone for 54+ fp in two straight without Irving, and James hasn't hit 50+ in the last four. Durant is also playing at Madison Square Garden tonight, even though there are no fans.

Jerami Grant $7.9k | FD $8.3k

Forget the guy you knew with the Thunder and Nuggets, Jerami Grant is playing at an all-star level in Detroit. He gets a huge pace boost vs. the Bucks and has already shot 45 times in two games vs. Milwaukee this season.

RJ Barrett DK $6.3k | FD $6.3k

The Knicks get Brooklyn's #5 pace tonight, and the Nets are also on the back to back. RJ Barrett took 18 shots on Monday with 9 boards and 5 assists (still only 28fp) and has extra incentive playing against his Godfather Steve Nash's team tonight.

Brandon Clarke DK $5.6k | FD $5.6k

In the only fast pace game he's played over the last 7, Brandon Clarke launched 22 shots en route to a 46 fp night. He'll get a tempo boost again (finally) vs. the T'Wolves.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Mitchell Robinson DK $5.8k | FD $6k

$6k and less for any starting C vs. Brooklyn looks like a 🔒. The Nets are also on the back-to-back after allowing a 70-burger to Nikola Jokic last night.

Enes Kanter DK $5.3k | FD $5.3k

Enes Kanter does have upside if Portland decides to let Jusuf Nurkic rest the quad injury that forced him to leave last game. Kanter scored 11 points and grabbed 15 boards in 19 minutes vs. the Kings on Saturday, and this time gets Sacramento on the back-to-back.
