Guards

Ben Simmons, PHI [@UTA] (DK: $8.8k, FD: $9.3k)

He's only had a single disappointing game this season, in 8 of 9 games played he's put up 42 or more fantasy points. The 76ers are going to be without Embiid and Bayless today, so both Simmons and T.J. McConnell are going to be quite busy handling the point. While the opposing Utah Jazz are a much slower paced team, they are only ranked 28th against starting point guards, allowing 43 FPPG, a lot of that came when Harden dropped 83 fantasy points on them last contest.

Malcolm Brogdon, MIL [@CLE] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $6.1k)

Welp, this might be his last game to show the team what he's capable of, the Bucks just traded for Eric Bledsoe. Luckily for Brogdon, he's facing Derrick Rose and the Cavs who are being extremely friendly to point guards. There is a long list of point guards who have faced the Cavs this season and walked away with padded box scores. The game is currently the 2nd highest over/under on the slate, and only a 4.5 point advantage to the Cavs. Slight underdog with a pace bump in a high scoring but close game, with a good matchup, the conditions are ideal for Brogdon tonight.

Donovan Mitchell, UTA [vs PHI] (DK: $4.6k, FD: $5.2k)

Over the last 5 games, he's averaging 27 mins, 20 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He has a 32% usage rate over this period, which you won't find consistently until you get to players with a salary of over 8k. In a large slate, you'll want to find a nice balance of guys, each of them you should be able to find a story where they can hit 35, and ideally more points. At this price range, you won't find a better option for the ceiling Mitchell has.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO [@IND] (DK: $11.2k, FD: $11.7k)

Assuming the Anthony Davis injury gremlin doesn't show up, he's got one of the best chances to exceed 60 fantasy points tonight. The Pacers won't have Sabonis tonight, so they're going to be a little low on big men tonight, and none will be able to stop Davis. The Pacers are ranked 27th against starting power forwards, giving up 34 fantasy points a game.

Carmelo Anthony, OKC [@SAC] (DK: $6.9k, FD: $6.9k)

Melo saw a quick exit in his last game, when he was ejected for what was a non-flagrant technical. The Veteran should be well rested, and looking to continue his consistent season with his new team. The Kings are ranked 29th against power forwards, allowing 34 FPPG. Melo has had 3 big games versus the Kings in years past, granted on a different team, and different circumstances, but Melo does like to play up in these circumstances the Veteran knows you shouldn't take a win for granted, and will play hard even if they are a big favorite.

Wesley Johnson, LAC [@SA] (DK: $3.4k, FD: )

Danilo Gallinari is doubtful to suit up, which means Wesley should slide into the starting role and see between 23-30 minutes of action. He doesn't provide a high ceiling, but he should be able to get close to 20 fantasy points for a near bottom salary. The Spurs are currently ranked 29th against starting small forwards, allowing 36 FPPG, but they've played better when at home. They did allow Jeremy Lamb to go off for 52 FP just 2 games ago, so there is hope for ensign Wesley here tonight.

Centers

Gortat has the ideal matchup for tonight at Center.

Nikola Jokic, DEN [vs BKN] (DK: $8.5k, FD: $9.5k)

This season the Nets as a team have allowed 16 opposing players into perfect lineups, the next closest team has allowed 9. So, it makes sense to target players playing against the Nets, so why not take a guy with a huge ceiling in Jokic, and as far as studs go, his price tag isn't bad tonight. The one concern is that Vegas currently has this game at a 11.5 point spread, so there is a chance at a blowout here.

Marcin Gortat, WAS [vs DAL] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $5.6k)

Dallas has been having a rough time versus centers, they're currently ranked 29th over the last 20 games giving up 36 FPPG. John Wall is probable to play, but his shoulder probably isn't quite 100%, so Gortat could be asked to do a little more than usual tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [vs CHI] (DK: $4.9k, FD: $4.7k)

This should be a 'get right' game for Valanciunas, he hasn't looked good since coming back from his ankle injury. The Raptors are 10.5 point favorites over the Bulls, and will likely want to feed Valanciunas to get him going again. The Bulls are ranked 27th against starting Centers, allowing 35 fPPG. For this salary, it'll be hard to find someone with a higher ceiling.
