Harden Tonight? ✅ Yup!

Guards

James Harden, HOU [vs CLE] (DK: $10.7k, FD: $11.2k)

Vegas has this as the highest scoring game of the night, with a 228 point over under and a fairly close 5.5 point spread. In last years 2 meetings between these teams, Harden put up 76 and 78 fantasy points versus LeBron, and they each logged heavy minutes in both games. The Cavs are ranked 23rd against point guards, allowing 38 fantasy points a game. They've also allowed the 3rd most points to be scored on them, at an average of 109.9 points per game. Harden and LeBron both are on 2 or more days of rest, and should be ready to show off their A game tonight in a premier game.

Eric Gordon, HOU [vs CLE] (DK: $6.5k, FD: $6.3k)

Another Houston guy, good thing this game is slated for the highest scoring of the night. As mentioned previously, Cleveland is just giving up a ton of points across the board, they are ranked 27th against shooting guards, and Gordon can easily have a 40 point ceiling in this type of game.

Jordan Clarkson, LAL [@WAS] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $4.4k)

The Lakers might finally be seeing that Clarkson and Randle should be playing more minutes. Last night marks the 3rd night in a row Clarkson has eclipsed 30 fantasy points, and has seen 20-27 minutes of action a night. This game is pretty close to a blowout with the Wizards being favored by 10.5. If the Lakers need their closer in a tight game or not, Clarkson should get enough minutes to be viable again tonight, against a team that gives up plenty of points to the bench.

Forwards

Paul Millsap, DEN [vs OKC] (DK: $6.8k, FD: $7.2k)

This is slated to be a very close contest, with only a point spread between the teams. Which is good, because Millsap hasn't seen the 4th quarter in the last 2 games with a blowout on both sides. In order to be involved the whole game Millsap is going to need a close game. He's played very well versus the Oklahoma City Thunder last year, scoring 42 and 50 fantasy points in those contests. Look for Millsap to get back to his usual 30ish minutes played, and have a nice game tonight.

Brandon Ingram, LAL [@BOS] (DK: $5.9k, FD: $6.2k)

Ingram's price remains about the same, but is in a better spot tonight. The Wizards have allowed 5 small forwards into the perfect lineup over the last 20 games, and are ranked 22nd against them allowing 31 fantasy points a game. There's some slight concerns though. They're on the 2nd leg of a back to back and in what could be a blowout, but he's 20 years old, I'm pretty sure you don't get tired at that age.

Markieff Morris, WAS [vs LAL] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $4.5k)

He saw 27 minutes in his last game, so he should be pretty much off a minutes restriction moving forward. The Lakers are ranked 23rd against starting power forwards, allowing 32 fantasy points a game, and 4 of which ended in the perfect lineup. At this discounted salary, a 30 fantasy points effort could land him in the perfect lineup in this small slate, freeing up a ton of salary space elsewhere.

Centers

Embiid has a soft matchup @SAC tonight

Joel Embiid, PHI [@SAC] (DK: $8k, FD: $9.6k)

His minutes restriction is a bit maddening, because what this guy could do with a full workload would be amazing to see. The Kings have been being beat up by Centers this season, currently ranked dead last against the position giving up 38 fantasy points a game. Embiid has had 6 days between games now and should be well rested and ready to dominate tonight.

Marcin Gortat, WAS [vs LAL] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $5.5k)

The Lakers have been destroyed by centers over the past 5 games, Baynes, Gasol, Nukic, Drummond all eclipsed 34 fantasy points. Gortat is coming off a dud of a performance, and didn't see as many minutes since they were in catch up mode. Tonight is the opposite story, the Wizards are favored by 10.5 and Gortat should see plenty of action holding onto their lead. He's being handed an easy bounce back tonight, and most people won't want to play him after being burned 2 days ago.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [vs NO] (DK: $4.9k, FD: $4.9k)

Valanciunas can be wildly inconsistent, but facing Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins tonight they're going to need this big man to step up his game. He played 2 games versus the Pelicans last season, including one that had both AD and DC, and he had big games in both. It's going to be hard to find a guy at this salary with a higher upside, so if you're playing a tournament tonight he's got to be in consideration.
