Top NBA Plays 1/20|Solemnly Swear to Win
It's a great day for an inaugural win or to keep that victory streak going. It's a whopper of a 10-game slate headlined by the Amazing Nets in a possibly blowout spot at Cleveland and a Boston/Philadelphia matchup possibly missing some star power.
Let's get to the breakdown:
Today's NBA Matchups
Mavs (-1.5) @ Pacers , O/U 219.5, 7:00 PM ET
Crazy news about Caris LeVert possibly having his life saved after being traded and discovering a mass on his kidney during the physical. He'll be out for awhile obviously as will numerous others in this shorthanded game.
Nets (-10) @ Cavs, O/U 225.5 7:00 PM ET
The Nets have had two great offensive showings since the acquisition of James Harden ($10.9k), but they're probably in a 🕯️Blowout Game🕯️as double digit favorites vs. the Cavs. Kyrie Irving ($9k) is set to return for Brooklyn tonight.
Notable Injuries: Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince are set to make their debuts for Cleveland.
Celtics @ Sixers (-4.5) , O/U 221.5, 7:00 PM ET
Philadelphia seems like big favorites hosting Boston, but the Sixers are 7-1 at home on the year. It's a question of who will all play tonight.
Pistons @ Hawks (-4.5) , O/U 220, 7:30 PM ET
It was a high scoring game the last time these two met up, a 128-120 Atlanta win at the end of December. Trae Young ($9.3k) had just 41fp out of a projected 51fp however.
Notable Injuries: Young is playing through heel soreness. Blake Griffin limped off the floor vs. Miami last time out.
Heat @ Raptors (-4) , O/U 222, 7:30 PM ET
Toronto seems to be finally getting things in order, and have rattled off three straight in their new Tampa home. They'll meet Sunshine State neighbors Miami tonight,
Notable Injuries: Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Avery Bradley are out for Miami.
Magic (-3.5) @ Timberwolves , O/U 218, 8:00 PM ET
Minnesota has lost 9 of 10, and will now be without Karl-Anthony Towns until late January after a positive COVID test.
Suns (-5.5) @ Rockets , O/U 218, 9:30 PM ET
Phoenix has lost two in a row, but they also had a week break in between those games due to postponements. The Suns should get back on track vs. a Houston team that is still shorthanded.
Spurs (-1) @ Warriors , O/U 228, 10:00 PM ET
A lot of people are going to be backing GSW tonight after their come back from a 14-point deficit vs. the Lakers last time out. The Spurs are on a roll though, winning by a total of 33 points in the last two.
Notable Injuries: Andrew Wiggins is questionable with a sore knee.
Grizzlies (-1) @ Trail Blazers , O/U 223, 10:00 PM ET
Memphis looks like a strange favorite on the road in Portland, but that's also because the 'Blazers continue life without CJ McCollum (foot) and Jusuf Nurkic (wrist) for at least a month.
Notable Injuries: Jonas Valanciunas is in the health and safety protocol.
Kings @ Clippers (-10.5) , O/U 230, 10:00 PM ET
It's a good Clippers target night with the highest betting total on the board. LAC beat the Kings 138-100 last Friday.
Notable Injuries: Serge Ibaka (illness) is probable, Lou Williams (hip) and Hassan Whiteside (hip) are questionable.
Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables
Damian Lillard DK $10.4 k | FD $10k
Lillard is great anyway but gets a 5.73 fp and 4.45% usage boost with McCollum and Nurkic out of the lineup. 💵Dame Dolla💵wants a step up game vs. a Memphis team on a 5-game win streak.
Paul George DK $9.1k | FD $8.5k
Nice FD price on Paul George in a game with the highest betting total of the night. The Kings are especially bad vs. the SG position too, allowing 30+ in five straight. George had 26 points in 29 minutes vs. Sacramento on Friday, we just need the Kings to keep the rematch closer than 38 points.
Shake Milton DK $5.6k | FD $6.2
Boston is only middle of the pack defensively this season, which bodes well for a third straight big game for Shake Milton. There's a new Dream Shake in town, and Milton is finding his way in this Philly offense with 24+ real points in three straight while averaging 6 assists per game over that span.
Joe Harris DK $5.5k | FD $4.5
Some would say the value of Harris would go down with the return of Irving, but there's a chance it can also go up. There are not going to be many defenders left when you try to stop Irving, Durant, and Harden which bodes well for a lot of open looks for Joseph "Joe". He could also get a lot of blowout usage vs. the Cavs.
Patty Mills DK $5k | FD $4
Patty Mills likes going back home to where he played his college ball at St. Mary's, dropping 31 points on 10-16 shooting in his last game at Golden State. Expect a big letdown from the Warriors tonight.
Tonight's SF / PF Notables
Jerami Grant DK $7.7k | FD $8.4k
Jerami Grant has turned into a nice 42 fp floor player, meaning he won't kill your lineup waiting for hit or miss. The Hawks are running a slower pace and playing better defense this year, but are still 27th vs. the SF on the season.
Chris Boucher DK $7.3k | FD $8.1k
Where Miami is really thin is in the backcourt, but that doesn't mean Chris Boucher won't have another big night vs. the Heat. DFS players are smitten with Boucher, who has scored 20+ real points and grabbed 8+ boards in five of the last six.
Cedi Osman $6.5k | FD $5.9k
Cedi Osman looks to head back to the bench, but that may make him a better DFS option against other team's reserves. He should still see the minutes tonight in a potential blowout spot vs. Brooklyn and has shown no fear of launching lately with at least a dozen shots in eight straight.
OG Anunoby DK $5.9k | FD $6k
The Raptors should be able to do what they want tonight vs. a shorthanded Heat team, which means good things for OG Anunoby. He hasn't hit 40+ for 9 straight games, but Miami has allowed four 40+ games to the last five SF they've faced.
Kelly Oubre, Jr. DK $5.5k | FD $5.4
We saw the Kelly Oubre the Warriors thought they were getting last time out, as he went for 23 points and made some real clutch plays to lead the comeback vs. the Lakers. L.A. has the #1 defense too, so we'll see if it was an eye opening experience.
Tonight's Center Position Notables
Clint Capela DK $7.6k | FD $8k
Clint Capela has grabbed 15 boards in back to back games, a trend which should continue against Detroit who is in the bottom 10 in the NBA in rebounding.

🔥 SuperDraft Multiplier Must-Play
Today's SuperDraft multiplier must-play is Paul George at 1.25X. Scored 26 points in 29 minutes on Friday vs. one of the worst teams vs the SG, Sacramento. Big night if the Kings can keep things closer than the nearly 40 points they lost by last meeting.
