Another Harden Night, prepare the BEARD!

Guards

James Harden, HOU [vs NO] (DK: $11.6k, FD: $11.8k)

The Pelicans are ranked 28th against starting shooting guards giving up 34 fantasy points a game. James Harden loves to play tough in these high scoring matchups against other NBA stars. He's obliterated the Pelicans in their last 2 meetings, exceeding 80 fantasy points in both contests last year (without Chris Paul). Vegas has this as the highest scoring game of the night at 228.5 points however with a 11.5 spread in favor of the Rockets. Warning: Harden is probable, but did bang his knee last game, and has an injury tag for tonight.

Kyle Lowry, TOR [@LAC] (DK: $8.3k, FD: $8.3k)

Austin Rivers on the other side of the ball is ranked near the bottom of the league in defensive rating. The Clippers are ranked 12th against starting point guards allowing 31 fantasy points a game but have faced lower tier PGs over the last 5 games. This game is slated to be a slugfest with a 5 point spread in favor of the Raptors and a 216 point over under. Don't mind the other side of the ball by playing Austin Rivers or Lou Williams who both log heavy minutes without Patrick Beverley and Lowry is a slightly below average defender as well.

Álex Abrines, OKC [vs CHA] (DK: $3.2k, FD: $3.7k)

If Paul George misses tonights game, Abrines has an opportunity for another nice game. He's still sitting at around the minimum salary as he doesn't have an incredibly high ceiling but he did put up 31 fantasy points in 43 minutes against the Grizzlies. Don't expect those numbers again but if he sees 30 minutes tonight he could log around 20 fantasy points. The Hornets are ranked 14th against starting shooting guards, but both Batum and Lamb are beat up and may sit leaving Abrines with a better matchup.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS [vs POR] (DK: $10.9k, FD: $11.7k)

As long as Stephen Curry remains out it looks like Durant is going to put the weight of the Warriors onto his shoulders and carry the team. The Warriors are favored by 11 points tonight but they have some injury concerns still so the spread could get tighten up. Portland should be able to keep this game competitive for the majority of this contest so expect Durant to log heavy minutes again and see the majority of the teams usage.

Marvin Williams, CHA [@OKC] (DK: $4.7k, FD: $5.1k)

The Hornets are beat up with both Batum and Lamb possibly going to miss this game. Cody Zeller is already ruled out and Frank the tank Kaminsky is questionable, if he misses Williams is going to have to log heavy minutes again. He's put up 11+ shots over the last 2 games without those guys, more than any other game this season. Expect most of the same if those guys miss. It's a great matchup as well going against the 29th ranked defense against starting power forwards allowing 36 fantasy points a game.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR [@GS] (DK: $4.6k, FD: $5.3k)

Aminu looks to be fully back and ready to roll after his extended injury absence he's put up 2 straight games over 30 minutes. Maurice Harkless is a game time call tonight and without him Aminu would be a lock for another 30 minute game. Aminu is very much a tournament guy as he has a low floor but very high ceiling and at his current low salary he's definitely worth a look tonight.

Centers

Horford in a good spot against Da Bulls!

Al Horford, BOS [@CHI] (DK: $7.3k, FD: $7.5k)

It's another rough night at center. Horford had a good history against Chicago last season, 3 of the last 4 games he saw 42+ fantasy points in each contest. He's also been on a tear over the last 8 games, putting up 41+ fantasy points in 6 of those last 8. Vegas has this game as a surprisingly close spread at 7 points in favor of the Celtics, as the Bulls like to play up in games like these.

Steven Adams, OKC [vs CHA] (DK: $5.9k, FD: $6.5k)

Steven Adams has logged 30+ minutes in the last 5 games straight, he's seeing more consistent minutes with Paul George out. He also records around 5 more fantasy points a game when playing at home. It's certainly a tough spot against Dwight Howard but Howard has been logging heavy minutes with the Hornets big man injuries. He likely can't keep up a strong defense when he's getting no rest, so Adams should have a chance tonight as one of the lower priced centers with some upside.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR (DK: $4.4k, FD: $4.7k)

Valanciunas remains a tournament only play, he just doesn't get enough minutes on the court. Center is a rough position tonight to find any upside, there are a lot of overpriced centers with little upside. Valanciunas provides big upside if he ever gets to log heavy minutes, sadly is appears that the only way for that to happen would be an injury to someone else at this point. The Clippers are ranked 29th against starting centers so it's a great matchup for him, it would be even better if he got 30 minutes.
