Guards
DeMar DeRozan, TOR [@PHO] (DK: $8.3k, FD: $8.8k)
Vegas has this as one of the higher scoring games of the night, but there is significant blowout risk with an 11.5 point spread in favor of the Raptors. DeRozan dropped 47 fantasy points earlier in the season on the Suns and could easily do that again tonight against the 30th ranked defense facing starting shooting guards allowing 37 fantasy points a game. As long as this game isn't a blow out early, the consistent DeRozan should pass that 40 fantasy point mark.
Kris Dunn, CHI [vs UTA] (DK: $6.3k, FD: $7.4k)
Dunn has shown some monster upside over the last 8 games, eclipsing 50 fantasy points twice and 30+ in six. His consistency still leaves something to be desired but having a range of 30-50 fantasy points is definitely a plus for someone at this salary range. He gets a nice matchup tonight against the Jazz who are ranked 29th against starting point guards allowing 38 fantasy points a game and even more on the road. This is going to be a slow paced game by both sides so his 50 fantasy point ceiling is likely not in play but something in the 40's could be possible.
Eric Bledsoe, MIL [@NO] (DK: $6.8k, FD: $6.9k)
Rondo who is near bottom in the league in defensive rating will likely have to log heavy minutes again tonight with Jameer Nelson. Bledsoe walks in to collect a great matchup in what is slated to be one of the highest scoring games of the night with only a 2 point spread. He's been remarkably consistent since joining the Bucks and has one of the best situations yet.
Forwards
Serge Ibaka, TOR [@PHO] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $5.8k)
Ibaka has been the model of consistency since Lucas Nogueira went down to injury. He hasn't shown any upside so this would be a cash play only. The suns are ranked last against starting power forwards allowing 37 fantasy points a game. This game does have blowout risk but Ibaka should see enough minutes to hit his consistent 29 minutes and 30 fantasy points.
Frank Kaminsky, CHA [@HOU] (DK: $4k, FD: $3.8k)
Kaminsky should get plenty of minutes again tonight without Cody Zeller. He's also 1 game further removed from injury so he could possibly see a few minutes more than last game as well. Old man Howard has been logging heavy minutes without both Zeller and Kaminsky and can probably use a breather. He doesn't have the highest ceiling but has a chance at 30 fantasy points at a bargain salary.
Evan Turner, POR [@MIA] (DK: $4k, FD: $3.6k)
Portland is dealing with a few injuries which has forced Turner back into the starting lineup. As long as Harkless remains out tonight, Turner is in a good spot to see close to 30 minutes again in what is slated to be a close game at only a 2.5 point spread in favor of Miami. The Heat are ranked 22nd against starting small forwards allowing 30 fantasy points a game. Turner could provide some salary relief while possibly approaching 30 fantasy points tonight.
Centers
DeMarcus Cousins, NO [vs MIL] (DK: $11k, FD: $12k)
If Anthony Davis doesn't suit up again, half the Pelicans team are almost must-plays and Cousins would be in a great spot. He thrives in these close games where it's a battle to the finish. The Bucks are ranked 24th against starting centers but you can pretty much throw away rankings when it comes to studs like this. The only thing that would derail Cousins would be himself fouling out.
Nikola Vucevic, ORL [vs LAC] (DK: $8.8k, FD: $9.3k)
Vucevic has been an absolute beast over the last 5 games while Orlando is dealing with some significant injuries. Now he pulls what is the best matchup yet against the Clippers who are dealing with their own injury woes and ranked 30th against starting centers allowing 37 fantasy points a game. This is another close game with a 1.5 point spread so Vucevic should have to be heavily relied upon once again tonight.
Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [@PHO] (DK: $4.7k, FD: $5k)
Has Dwane Casey seen the light and finally going to let Valanciunas play more than 20 minutes a game? If the answer is yes, then Valanciunas has huge upside. If the answer is no, then Valanciunas returns back to earth. Time will tell and he remains a tournament only play until we know the answer. It is a great matchup yet again, so if he gets to see over 20 minutes again he could have another monster.
