Guards
Lonzo Ball, LAL [@CLE] (DK: $7k, FD: $7.5k)
Ball remains a tournament play, he's very volatile but his ceiling definitely makes him a strong consideration in tournaments. This is the highest scoring game of the night and Ball gets to play against LeBron for the first time so he's going to want to show up and impress, though he could just as easily get embarrassed. The Cavs are ranked 26th against starting point guards allowing 36 fantasy points a game and Jose Calderon is ranked near bottom of the league in defensive rating.
Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN [vs NYK] (DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.7k)
Dinwiddie has been unstoppable at home thus far, he's scoring 3 fantasy points more per game in home games. He gets to face the Knicks who are ranked 23rd against starting point guards, allowing 40 fantasy points a game when on the road, 5 more than at home.
Jose Calderon, CLE [vs LAL] (DK: $3.3k, FD: $3.8k)
If Dwayne Wade were to miss tonights game, Calderon should be forced to log heavy minutes again. It's a great matchup against the Lakers who are ranked 29th against starting point guards allowing 38 fantasy points a game. This is the highest scoring game of the night at 219, and for a Cavs game it's not a huge blowout risk at a 9.5 point spread which they never reach until late in the 4th.
Forwards
Kevin Durant, GS [vs DAL] (DK: $11.3k, FD: $11.9k)
This section will be known as the Warriors Forwards, they all make good plays tonight with the injuries on the team. Kevin Durant is pretty much a must play tonight with Draymond Green doubtful, and Curry out. His ceiling is over 70 points, and unless he gets injured pretty much has a floor of 50. It's a small slate which makes this play even more important, think of him as Russell Westbrook tonight.
Omri Casspi, GS [vs DAL] (DK: $3.5k, FD: $4.1k)
Curry remains out, Draymond Green and Zaza Pachulia are both doubtful opening up more playing time for Omri Casspi. He doesn't have a high ceiling but should be a pretty safe cash play tonight as he's eclipsed the 20 fantasy point mark in 4 of his 5 starts this season. He even gets a top shelf matchup tonight as the Mavericks are ranked 29th versus starting power forwards giving up 37 fantasy points a game.
Jordan Bell, GS [vs DAL] (DK: $3.6k, FD: $4.3k)
Bell has filled in as starter in 3 games while Draymond Green has been out this season, averaging around 26 fantasy points a game. However while Durant remains in the lineup, Bell's ceiling is much more limited so he should remain a cash play as well, unless the salary savings allow you to fit in a big gun.
Centers
Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN [vs SAC] (DK: $9.1k, FD: $10.1k)
Center is a wasteland tonight, so we're including Towns as a FADE. His salary has gone up considerably over the last week because of 3 big games. The conditions say it likely won't happen as this game has the lowest over under on the night and a 10.5 point spread indicating it could easily be a blowout. Could he have another big night? Yes, it's a good matchup as the Kings are 23rd against starting Centers, but Towns just logged 48 minutes for those 60 fantasy points, that's not happening again.
Kevin Love, CLE [vs LAL] (DK: $7.9k, FD: $7.9k)
Love has been a rebounding machine putting up double digit rebound totals in 5 of the last 6 games. The Lakers are ranked 3rd in total rebounds per game, so Love will have to work for those rebounds tonight. It's a good overall matchup as the Lakers are ranked 21st against starting centers. Love puts up almost 2 fantasy points more per game when at home and when they favored, so the conditions are looking good for Love who gets a modest salary drop tonight.
Tyler Zeller, BKN (vs NY) (DK: $3.5k, FD: $3.8k)
As mentioned, Center is a wasteland tonight so this play is a reach. I suppose if you're looking to save money at this position Zeller is your best bet, he's been logging 21+ minutes a game over the last 5 and scoring close to a fantasy point per minute. If you're playing on DraftKings you have some other options like Gibson, so this really is just a FanDuel option.
