John Wall is back in play tonight

Guards

John Wall, WAS [vs NO] (DK: $8.8k, FD: $9.5k)

It appears that John Wall is pretty much back to being John Wall and the full workload that entails. As long as John Wall isn't limited, he's in line for a primo matchup against the Pelicans who are ranked dead last against starting point guards allowing 38 fantasy points a game. Rondo is only one spot better than Derrick Rose in the defensive rating stat, if that's any indication as to how bad his defense is. Vegas has this as the highest scoring game and a close 3 point spread, so if Wall is fully back this will be the game to see it.

Eric Bledsoe, MIL [vs CLE] (DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.1k)

There's no cure for a slump like the Cleveland Cavaliers. Bledsoe is coming off of two tough matchups where he put up under 30 fantasy points and now gets a nice price discount to reflect the decreased production. However he gets to face the Cavs tonight who are ranked 23rd against starting point guards allowing 35 fantasy points a game. This is the 2nd highest scoring game of the night and only a 2.5 point spread in favor of the Cavs, so Bledsoe should be be tossing out many an assist tonight.

Malcolm Brogdon, MIL [vs CLE] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $4.9k)

With Tony Snell sidelined Brogdon has been seeing 32+ minutes per game over the last 5 games. He has a good history versus the Cavs this season and last year and based on their defense why shouldn't he. Tonight is a lot harder to find value than the craziness that was last night, but Brogdon might be able to provide a little salary relief to pay up somewhere else.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL [vs CLE] (DK: $11.4k, FD: $12.3k)

This is more of a cash game play as the alphabet is super expensive tonight. He's also very safe to exceed 50 fantasy points as his last two outings versus the Cavs this season he came away with 58 and 63 fantasy points. Most of the time in a small slate like this this type of guy would be a must play, but there are 5-6 studs depending on how you would want to categorize them so he's not a must play, but he is probably the safest play considering his level of consistency this season.

Robert Covington, PHI [vs SAC] (DK: $6.2k, FD: $7.4k)

Covington plays better ball with Embiid on the court, so as long as Embiid returns tonight Covington is a good option tonight. Covington has put up 40+ fantasy points over the last two mettings against the Kings and with Booker out will have to log a few extra minutes each night. This is the less appealing game according to Vegas, and it's a hugely pace down game as well, but the 76ers are favored by 8.5 points, so they should keep the kings chasing closer to their own pace.

Mike Scott, WAS [vs NO] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $4.5k)

Scott has put on the after burners over the last few games as his performances keep earning him more minutes on the court. He's only a tournament play as his minutes are in a state of flux as the Wizards are figuring out how to best utilize him down this stretch.

If he stays out of foul trouble, Cousins has a very favorable matchup tonight.

Centers

DeMarcus Cousins, NO [@WAS] (DK: $10.7k, FD: $11k)

The Wizards are ranked 27th against starting centers allowing 36 fantasy points a game. Not that matchups really matter for studs like Cousins, what we're looking for is this high scoring and close spread according to Vegas. The Center position has 3 clear tiers tonight, Embiid and Cousins, Love, and then everyone else. Embiid is cheaper and could outperform Cousins but with his injury risk and possible blowout is a more dangerous pick than Cousins.

Kevin Love, CLE [@MIL] (DK: $7.8k, FD: $8k)

As noted above, Kevin Love is in the 2nd tier of centers tonight and he's all alone in this tier making him a great option. He's put up 45 and 63 fantasy point performances against the Bucks already this season and this is yet another high scoring and close contest. He's got a great chance to do it again, against the 23rd ranked defense versus starting centers.

Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC [@PHI] (DK: $5.2k, FD: $6k)

Hopefully Willie returns to the bench tonight where he's admitted he's much more comfortable. He was putting up fantastic performances off the bench until he was injured earlier this month. It appears he's back to full strength and has a nice matchup tonight against 76ers who never know who to put out there at center.
