Kemba = 🔥

Guards

Kemba Walker, CHA [vs NO] (DK: $8k, FD: $8.4k)

This game has the highest point total of the slate at 224 points and only a 2 point spread in favor of the Hornets, making this one of the top games to target tonight. Kemba is facing the Pelicans who are ranked dead last versus starting point guards allowing 38 fantasy points a game and should get to matchup versus Rondo who is one of the worst rated players.

Ben Simmons, PHI [vs CHI] (DK: $7.6k, FD: $8.7k)

The Bulls have been bleeding points to guards for some time, they are currently ranked 27th against starting point guards allowing 37 fantasy points a game. TJ McConnell, JJ Redick and Bayless are all out which means Simmons will have to log heavy minutes in tonights game. Vegas also has this as a very solid game to target with 219.5 total points with only a 5.5 point spread in favor of the 76ers. Simmons has been fairly disappointing lately, but he gets to face backup Jerian Grant and will see plenty of time on the court time, and could be a steal at DraftKings pricing.

Ish Smith, DET [vs UTA] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $6.5k)

Ish makes a little better play on DraftKings due to the price difference. The Jazz have been significantly worse while on the road giving up 40 fantasy points per game to starting point guards. Reggie Bullock is unlikely to play today, which should increase Ish's usage a bit. It's a relatively low scoring game at 200 total points but it should be close with the Pistons only being favored by 2 points.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO [@CHA] (DK: $10.8k, FD: $11.8k)

As noted above, this is a top game to target. AD destroyed the Hornets last year putting up games of 71 and 82 fantasy points. The Hornets are ranked 23rd against starting power forwards allowing 33 fantasy points a game. AD is likely going to want to have his turn on the 100 fantasy point carousel, and Cousins will be dealing with Howard down low, so maybe he'll have a chance if he doesn't get injured (fingers crossed).

Jarell Martin, MEM [vs SA] (DK: $4.6k, FD: $4.6k)

JaMychal Green is out again tonight, and Martin is questionable to play so keep an eye out on injury news. If Martin can't go, switch over to Myke Henry as the Grizzlies might want to get another look at him. The matchup isn't great, but the minutes will be there for one of these guys with the injuries the Grizzlies are dealing with.

Stanley Johnson, DET [vs UTA] (DK: $3.6k, FD: $3.7k)

Reggie Bullock is doubtful to play tonight, which pushes Stanley into the starting lineup. He doesn't have a high ceiling, but he's near bottom salary and is going to likely see close to 30 minutes tonight. He's more of a cash game play that will allow you to more easily fit guys like Kemba into your lineup. It's also a good matchup against the Jazz that rank 26th against starting small forwards allowing 32 fantasy points a game.

Centers

I'll take Ben Simmons paired w/Embiid Pls. Thx. 💲

Joel Embiid, PHI [vs CHI] (DK: $9.7k, FD: $11k)

As noted above this is one of the top games to target tonight and if you're going to play Ben Simmons pairing him with his top assist target in Embiid can work out nicely. The Bulls are ranked 18th versus starting centers not that any matchup is going to slow Embiid, he's been working hard to increase his playing time as he's played in the lsat 8 games and appears that he's ready for more consistent play time after trusting the system.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [@ATL] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $5.4k)

As always, Valanciunas is the epidome of a tournament play; he doesn't get consistent minutes, gets into foul trouble, disappears out of no where, but he can also have monster games for a low salary. It's a good matchup against Atlanta who rank 19th versus starting centers, as they rotate through their 3 centers. Valanciunas is on 4 days of rest and only played 11 minutes in the last game due to foul trouble, so he's extremely well rested so has a good chance to log more than his average number of minutes tonight.

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL [vs TOR] (DK: $5k, FD: $5.5k)

Finding value at center tonight is quite difficult but Dedmon is worth a look. If the Hawks want to get serious and start getting actual production at center they need to move Dedmon back to the starting lineup and give him close to 30 minutes a game. Dedmon has a high ceiling when he gets the play time, and maybe tonight is the night they finally decide to make the change. This is nothing more than a dart throw tonight, unless he's actually moved to the starting lineup.
