Guards
Andrew Wiggins, MIN [@GS] (DK: $7k, FD: $6.5k)
This one is fairly straight forward, if Butler is out (and based by the 12 point spread, he probably is) then Wiggins is going to continue to shoot the ball. He's averaged 22 shot attempts per game in the 3 games that Butler has missed now. It's a decent matchup against the Warriors who are 19th versus starting shooting guards. This is the highest scoring game tonight at 228.5 points, but with a very large 12 point spread in favor of the Warriors, so there is serious blowout risk.
Jamal Murray, DEN [vs NY] (DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.5k)
His salary has gone up quite a bit after his last 2 monster games so It's a little scary to use him when he's this expensive. However with a small slate, sometimes you have to roster guys like this. Gary Harris might not play tonight which would net Murray an extra 3% usage. It's an OK matchup versus the Knicks who are ranked 14th versus starting point guards allowing 34 fantasy points a game but more on the road. Vegas has this as one of the two close games tonight at 214 total points and Denver favored by 5.
George Hill, SAC [@MIA] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $4.5k)
This may be an anomaly, but each time Hill has returned to the starting lineup after taking a day off he's had a monster game. The Kings are also trying to trade him, so they'll likely want to show teams that this 31 year old still has some juice left. It's a good matchup versus Miami who rank 27th versus starting shooting guards allowing 34 fantasy points a game.
Forwards
Paul George, OKC [vs WAS] (DK: $7.6k, FD: $8.1k)
Three of the last four games George has scored 40-50 fantasy points and now Paul George was snubbed from the All-Star team. Russell Westbrook himself has expressed his disappointment with Paul George not making the team, calling it "outrageous". So now you could have Westbrook feeding George for a big game in order to prove what people missed. This is slated as a competitive game with 213.5 total points a tight 4.5 point spread, making this a game to target.
Kelly Oubre Jr., WAS [@OKC] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.1k)
Otto Porter is currently questionable for tonight's game, without him on the court Oubre will see additional usage (Beal gets the biggest boost). Unfortunately they already boosted Oubre's price a bit, so he's not such a great deal on DraftKings so he's not a complete lock if Porter is out. However as mentioned above, this game makes for a very nice target tonight with the tight point spread.
David West, GS [vs MIN] (DK: $3.7k, FD: $4.3k)
With Jordan Bell out, David West has been seeing +3% usage. This game could also become a blowout early if Butler doesn't play or is limited, which could mean extra minutes for West tonight. He's currently sitting at 1.13 fantasy points per minutes, so if he somehow can get to 20+ minutes tonight in a blowout he could have a huge night for his small salary.
Centers
Nikola Jokic, DEN [vs NY] (DK: $8.9k, FD: $9.7k)
Denver is ranked 29th against starting centers and this is one of the top games to target with its tight 4.5 point spread and 214 point total. If you're going to spend up at center tonight, Jokic is the 'safe' option when the other top tier centers are in games with significant blowout risk.
Mason Plumlee, DEN [vs NY] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $5k)
Plumlee has the best power forward matchup of the night against Denver who rank 26th versus starting power forwards allowing 33 fantasy points per game. Vegas has this as a tight game at 213.5 total points with Denver being favored by a close 5.5 points. Plumlee has been a roller coaster over the last few games, and he's a tournament only play tonight.
Bam Adebayo, MIA [vs SAC] (DK: $3.8k, FD: $4.2k)
This game is currently slated with a 10 point spread in favor of Miami and Whiteside has been logging heavy minutes over the last week of games. If this game becomes a blowout early, Adebayo will get some extra time on the court tonight. The Kings have been bleeding points to backups all season, currently ranked 26th overall against reserve players.
