We've been getting hammered...with NBA games lately and that means at some point there's got to be a short slate. Enter tonight, where there's just three games on the docket.

These minis can be fun every now and then though, so let's take a look and find the inevitable one player that will be the "slate breaker" either on the good side or bad.

Today's NBA Matchups

Clippers @ Hawks (-3.5) , O/U 221.5, 7:30 PM ET

Atlanta might seem like a weird favorite here, but that's what you get when Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are sitting for the Clips for health and safety protocols. Patrick Beverley (knee) is also out for LAC.

Wizards @ Rockets (-3), O/U 231.5, 8:00 PM ET

Washington lost by 20 points last time out, but that could be expected as it was their first game in almost two weeks. Houston put up 133 in a win over the Mavs their last time out, can that continue vs. the Wiz' 2nd worst offense?

Knicks @ Jazz(-10.5) , O/U 213, 9:00 PM ET

It's a 🔪Revenge Game🔪of sorts for the Jazz, whose last loss came against the Knicks way back on January 6th. Utah has won 8 straight since then, but for DFS purposes this tilt looks like a dud with the #3 and #4 defense in action. ..which obviously makes it a target game.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Bradley Beal DK $9.9k | FD $10.3k

Beal has the most consistent floor in this short slate, not dipping below 40fp in any game he's played this season (Julius Randle has a tough matchup with the Jazz). Beal is gonna launch no matter who he plays against, leading the NBA with almost 25 fga/game. He's also grabbed 7.5 boards and dished out 6.5 assists in the last two.

John Wall DK $6.9k | FD $7.7k

Decent DK price for John Wall, up against a Washington team that he played almost 600 games for in his career. The Wizards have allowed at least 39 fp to 4 of the last 5 PG's they've faced, giving Wall value even on a possible minutes restriction.

Lou Williams DK $5.8k | FD $6

Will Lou Willams bring a 🍗Magic City🍗game tonight for the depleted Clippers? He gets a 4.35% usage boost without George, Leonard, and Beverley while getting to go against an Atlanta team that ranks 25th defensively vs. the PG. As long as the ball isn't full of Buffalo sauce we should be good here.

Immanuel Quickley DK $5.2k | FD $5

Was his last game an epiphany or an enigma? Quickley was very fast on the launch, putting it up 18 times en route to a 43 fp game vs. the Blazers, scoring 31 real points in 24 minutes. The matchup gets tougher vs. Utah, but it could also be a blowout game/usage increase with the Jazz favored by double digits.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

John Collins DK $7.6k | FD $7.4k

This price would be too high if not for the short slate. What Collins does is at least give you an opportunity, as he's taken 19+ shots in two of the last three. There's a chance that Trae Young (back) and Clint Capela (hand) are either out or on limited minutes vs. a shorthanded Clippers team as well.

Nicolas Batum DK $6.3k | FD $5.5k

Great FD price for Batum playing without most of the other Clippers starters, and with a matchup vs. Atlanta who ranks 27th vs. the SF overall, and is 25th vs. the PF in the last five games.

Marcus Morris $4.7k | FD $5k

You just can't pass on that price after a 5.45% usage and 15.71 fp boost with Leonard, George, and Beverley out of the lineup tonight. Morris has a 20 and an 18 real point game over the last four but is also on the injury report after sitting out last game with a stomach illness.

Jerome Robinson DK $4k | FD $3.6

It's another great price on a short slate for Jerome Robinson, who started last game for Washington putting up a 16/5/4 line in 35 minutes. He's a PG on FD, or a G/F on DK in a matchup between the #1 and #7 tempos in the NBA.

Kenyon Martin DK $3k | FD $3.7

Kenyon Martin, Jr. got a season high in minutes last game, albeit on a back-to-back for the Rockets. He's got a great matchup vs. the Wizards tonight though in a game with a betting total in the 230s.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Serge Ibaka DK $6.6k | FD $5.8k

Serge Ibaka gets a huge boost with everybody out for the Clippers tonight. Meeting up with an Atlanta team possibly missing their starting C doesn't hurt either.

Demarcus Cousins DK $6k | FD $7.2k

The price jump from the mid $4k range is a bit ridiculous, but Christian Wood is still out with an ankle injury and it's a small slate. That means DMC gets a look tonight (especially on DK) since he gets a matchup with the very depleted Wizards, who are 27th defensively vs. the C anyway.
