Lowwwwwwwwwwwwwwry

Guards

Kyle Lowry, TOR [@MEM] (DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.3k)

Tonight is kind of the reverse of last night, there aren't any superstar point guards tonight with Curry out. Lowry's matchup looks scary on paper as the Grizzlies are ranked 8th against starting point guards, but they've only faced Jarret Jack, Teague, Calderon and Tony Parker in the last 5 games inflating their stats quite a bit. Memphis hasn't seen a stud PG in over a week and Lowry could certainly surprise in this spot with low ownership. He's played well against them in the past and could again tonight.

Eric Bledsoe, MIL [vs DAL] (DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.3k)

Bledsoe has fit right in with the Bucks seeing over 30 minutes a game since joining them a month ago. The Dallas Mavericks are ranked 26th against starting point guards, allowing 38 fantasy points a game. Bledsoe has shown he has somewhere around a mid 40s point ceiling when the matchup is right. Dennis Smith Jr. is questionable for this game who is ranked near bottom of the league in defensive rating so if he's out and Yogi Ferrell starts, who is much better guarding the ball, then sit Bledsoe.

Darren Collison, IND [vs CLE] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $6k)

Operation pick on Cleveland in full effect as they are ranked 27th against starting point guards allowing 37 fantasy points a game. This game is tied for the highest scoring of the slate at 218.5 and only a 3.5 point spread in favor of the Cavs. Collison has put up 40 or more fantasy points in 3 of the last 4 games versus the Cavs showing he's not willing to kneel when the king is in town.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS [@DET] (DK: $10.7, FD: $11.1k)

Durant has shown he's willing to put the team on his shoulders and carry them to victory without Curry in the lineup. He had a monster game without both Green and Curry, and now Green is probable to play so his ceiling isn't as high as it was in their previous outing, but he has a very high chance to eclipse that 50 fantasy point mark tonight without Curry against the 28th ranked defense guarding small forwards.

Denzel Valentine, CHI [@CHA] (DK: $5.4k, FD: $5.1k)

Valentine is a hard man to trust and remains a tournament only play, but the matchup couldn't be better against the Hornets who are ranked 30th against starting small forwards. Valentine put up 36 fantasy points in the last visit against them and will be looking to do the same tonight.

Jakarr Sampson, SAC [@NO] (DK: $3.4k, FD: $4.2k)

The Kings are without Willie Cauley-Stein again and Sampson has been seeing a good amount of time on court in his absence. He played extremely well against the Cavs, and even LeBron has expressed he's impressed with the kid. It'll be an easier matchup if Dante Cunningham remains in the starting lineup and Anthony Davis is out of the game, but in either case for this salary he's got a shot to see 30 minutes and easily beat value.

Scored 76.25 FPPG vs Sac in past 2 games 😳

Centers

DeMarcus Cousins, NO [vs SAC] (DK: $11.8, FD: $12k)

If Anthony Davis doesn't suit up there is a very strong case to be made that Cousins would be a must play, as he's facing his previous team when he has to carry his current team on his back. Cousins has just about everything going for him tonight, playing at home where he's good for 5 more fantasy points than average and facing the 26th ranked defense against starting centers. He's expensive tonight, but he's also a tier above every other center going in this slate.

Kevin Love, CLE [@IND] (DK: $8.5k, FD: $8k)

Love has a great matchup against the Pacers who are ranked dead last against starting centers, allowing 38 fantasy points a game. Love hasn't needed to log heavy minutes lately yet is still putting up monster rebound and shot totals. This is tied for the highest scoring game of the night at 219 point over under and only a 4 point spread. If it closes as a tight game and Love has to put more time on the court tonight he could put up a big enough game to support his monster salary.

Jakob Poeltl, TOR [@MEM] (DK: $3.6k, FD: $4.5k)

Poeltl has been seeing around 25 minutes a game since Lucas Nogueira went down with an injury 2 games ago. He puts up close to a fantasy point a minute, so if he can somehow get some extra time on the court tonight he could have a nice game. He's certainly a tournament play because big minutes aren't a guarantee, but the ceiling is there for him at a very low salary.
