ICYMI: Embiid vs the reigning MVP

Guards

Jamal Murray, DEN [vs BOS] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $6.5k)

Murray played off the bench on Saturday for violating a team rule but he's said the right things and everyone is set to move on from whatever he did. He'll likely want to make it up to the team by playing well in this tight 1.5 point matchup against Boston. There's only a 204.5 point total on this game, but I would take the over keeping Murray in play tonight.

Lance Stephenson, IND [vs CHA] (DK: $4.7k, FD: $5.2k)

He has fairly large home/road splits, scoring 4 fantasy points more per game while playing at home. He's also been playing more minutes and scoring more in up-pace games which matches the game tonight versus the Hornets. This game has a 214 point total with only a 3 point spread in favor of the Pacers and the type of game they'll need Lance playing well off the bench to maintain a lead. Don't expect him to hit that 40 fantasy point mark again, but with 22-25 minutes of action he could get close to 30 and provide value at this salary.

Andrew Harrison, MEM [vs PHO] (DK: $3.8k, FD: $3.5k)

The Suns are ranked 28th against shooting guards allowing 34 fantasy points per game and more while they're on the road. This is obviously only a tournament play as Harrison doesn't provide any consistency but he should be low owned and with all of the injuries to the Grizzlies should see plenty of time on the court tonight. He has 30 fantasy point upside at a bargain price against this bad defense.

Forwards

Trey Lyles, DEN [vs BOS] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $6.1k)

Trey Lyles is getting hot again at a good time, without Marcus Smart on the other side of the court Boston's defense is taking a bit of a hit. Lyles benefited from Wilson Chandler exiting early last game, but they also seem to be realizing that giving Lyles more time over Chandler is for the best. Vegas has this is a very close competitive game tonight with only a 1.5 point spread, so if they want to win, Lyles will give them the better chance.

Jarell Martin, MEM [vs PHO] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $5.2k)

JaMychal Green remains out which should keep Martin in the starting lineup for another game. This is really more of a cash game play as Martin doesn't have a huge ceiling with the Grizzlies also having Deyonta Davis, Brandan Wright, and Myke Henry to soak up these minutes.

Maxi Kleber, DAL [vs MIA] (DK: $3.8k, FD: $4.1k)

Minutes seem to be starting to wear on the Mavericks, Dirk is looking tired and Harrison Barnes has played 1740 minutes this season already, 10th most in the league. They've given Kleber 26 and 35 minutes over the last 2 games. If they continue to give him more minutes at this salary level he could easily provide value tonight. This is a tournament only play, as the matchup isn't great and we don't know if the minutes trend will continue, but we do know he has a high ceiling given enough time on the court.

Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN [@ATL] (DK: $9.6k, FD: $9.8k)

Towns has a great matchup versus the Hawks tonight who rank 22nd against starting centers. I'm a little worried that they're going to start thinking about limiting him a bit though after Cousins went down with his injury. Towns has been remarakably durable having played 1844 minutes so far this season, 2nd only to Wiggins. Vegas has this as a good game to target with a 214.5 point total and only a 5.5 point spread in favor of the Timberwolves, though Atlanta has not been playing great lately, so that spread is a little surprising.

Hassan Whiteside, MIA [@DAL] (DK: $7.7k, FD: $7.9k)

Whiteside is getting a pretty nice discount tonight after having 2 dissapointing games in a row. He only played 18 minutes on Saturday so he should be well rested tonight versus Dallas. Center is an odd position tonight with most of the top centers having their salaries jacked up recently, with no truly safe picks. So taking the discounted Whiteside who has been playing better on the road could be a good way to get a high scoring center for a bargain tonight.

Greg Monroe, PHO [@MEM] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $4.5k)

Keep an eye out for injury and news updates if you're going to play Monroe. It's looking like Alex Len will be out again, and the Suns have been playing rest games with Chandler on back to backs all season, so it's possible he is rested. However with him not playing much lately and Alex Len probably out, it's possible he plays as well. He's super cheap on FanDuel in either case if Chandler plays, as long as Alex Len is out, Monroe should be a solid value option.
