Sneak Peak at Chris Paul's performance tonight.

Guards

Chris Paul, HOU [@ORL] (DK: $9.6k, FD: $9.9k)

James Harden is out with a hamstring strain for at least the next 2 weeks and guys like Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, and others will have to fill that monster void left without him. Without Harden on the court, Chris Paul sees a massive +8.3% usage bump and nearly half a fantasy point per minute extra production. CP3 also draws an excellent matchup tonight against the Magic who are ranked 30th against starting point guards, allowing 39 fantasy points a game, though they're playing better at home. Vegas also has this as the highest scoring game at 221 points with a 8 point spread in favor of the Rockets.

Stephen Curry, GS [@DAL] (DK: $8.9k, FD: $9.8k)

Draymond Green tweaked his ankle and is questionable tonight which means there is a good chance he sits this one out as the Warriors are on the first leg of a back to back. Several of the other Warrior players have questionable tags as well. Without Green on the court, Curry sees a +5% usage bump and remains under-priced on DraftKings after returning from his injury. The Mavericks are ranked 25th against starting point guards allowing 35 fantasy points a game and give up more when facing a team that is favored to beat them.

Eric Gordon, HOU [@ORL] (DK: $6.8k, FD: $6.6k)

Without Harden on the court, Gordon sees +7.6% usage rate boost and 7 extra fantasy points per game. His salary has gone up considerably so there isn't quite as much meat left on the bones here, but his ceiling is extremely high without Harden on the court. The Magic are a decent matchup as well, ranked 21st against starting shooting guards allowing 31 fantasy points a game.

Forwards

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA [@PHI] (DK: $7.6k, FD: $8.4k)

Kawahi will not play tonight on the 2nd game of this back to back. Aldridge's salary has dipped a bit with Leonard back to soak up some of his usage, which makes him a good play on nights that Leonard takes a seat and watches the game. Vegas has this as a very close game with only a 1 point spread in favor of the 76ers. The Spurs also have a couple of guys with injury concerns tonight, so Aldridge will likely have to log heavy minutes again for a chance to win this one.

Marquese Chriss, PHO [@DEN] (DK: $4.6k, FD: $5k)

Whatever Chriss has changed he needs to keep it up as he's shooting 50% or better from the field for each of the last 5 games. Jared Dudley remains out for this game as well leaving just Chriss and Bender who has been playing less and less. It's a tougher matchup tonight versus the Nuggets but Chriss's salary hasn't gone up leaving him as a value option tonight.

Allen Crabbe, BKN [vs MIN] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $5.3k)

The Nets have some injury problems tonight as LeVert is doubtful to play and Carroll is questionable to suit up. Crabbe has already been seeing 30 minutes a game over the last 5 games and may have to log even more minutes tonight. He sees a +1.3% usage boost without LeVert on the court which jumps to 2% and a large fantasy point boost if Carroll is ruled out. It's not the best matchup but Vegas does have this as one of the higher scoring games of the night with a 6.5 point spread in favor of the Timberwolves giving the Nets a chance in this contest.

Centers

Hassan Whiteside, MIA [vs DET] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $8.3k)

Whiteside makes for a better DraftKings play tonight based on the huge salary difference. It appears he's almost back to his normal minutes and usage after playing 29 minutes on Dec 30th. Detroit and Miami are both dealing with injury problems right now, so Vegas has this game as one of the lower point totals at 196.5 but Whiteside figures to see high usage if he's healthy and ready to take on more usage again.

Richaun Holmes, PHI [vs SA] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $4.1k)

Joel Embiid is doubtful to play tonight, so Amir Johnson will likely be his usual ineffective starting self again tonight, leaving Holmes on the 2nd unit to get the actual work done. Without Embiid on the court, Holmes generally logs 20+ minutes of backup duty and sees between 24 and 32 fantasy points a game. His salary has gone up a bit, so he's not quite the value saver as he once was though, he's a bit better option for FanDuel.

Greg Monroe, PHO [@DEN] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $5.2k)

If the Suns follow their typical pattern on back to backs then Greg Monroe will start tonight with Chandler taking a seat. The typical warning is very important here, if Monroe does not get the start then do not play him! The Nuggets are ranked dead last against starting centers allowing 36 fantasy points a game, however they are considerable better when playing at home as other teams have to deal with that altitude.
