Guards

Kyle Lowry, TOR [vs MIN] (DK: $7.4k, FD: $7.7k)

We haven't really seen that 40+ point upside from Lowry in a little while, other than his other game versus Minnesota 10 days ago where he scored 57 fantasy points. It's a nice matchup versus the Timberwolves who are ranked 28th versus starting point guards, allowing 37 fantasy points a game. Keep an eye out on this game though, as the current Vegas line doesn't make much sense with the Raptors being favored by 6.5 points after losing to them 10 days ago without Butler.

De'Aaron Fox, SAC [@NO] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $5.7k)

Let's try this again... the first time using Fox in the newsletter he came up with abdominal tightness. When he's not been injured he has been seeing 30+ mins per game since the Kings decided to start playing their youngsters more. He should get to face off against some Rondo tonight who has one of the worst defensive ratings in the league. The Pelicans are ranked 30th versus starting point guards and now without Cousins are only favored by 6.5 points giving the Kings some sort of shot to keep this game close tonight.

Milos Teodosic, LAC [vs POR] (DK: $4.9k, FD: $4.7k)

Teodosic is an excellent cash game play tonight for the Clippers who are going to be without Blake Griffin and Willie Reed who were traded to the Pistons last night. Somehow the Clippers keep losing players but their point totals stay high and keep getting wins. This game has the 2nd highest point total of the night at 221 and a close 2.5 point spread in favor of the Clippers. Milos Teodosic doesn't have a high ceiling but he's been very consistent and has a great shot to reach 30 fantasy points tonight which makes him a nice cash game play at this salary.

Forwards

DeMarre Carroll, BKN [@NY] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $5.5k)

Caris LeVert and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will miss tonight's game, without RHJ on the court Carroll sees around +3% additional usage which can help push his ceiling a little higher. The Knicks are 29th versus starting small forwards allowing 32 fantasy points per game. Vegas has this as one of the higher scoring games of the night at 215 total points with only a 5 point spread in favor of the Knicks.

E'Twaun Moore, NO [vs SAC] (DK: $4.9k, FD: $5.7k)

This is strictly a tournament play as Moore's typical day is not going to help your lineup much even though he plays 34 minutes per game. His role increases whenever Cousins or Davis is off the court which increases his ceiling, though it is not seen often. If you want to differentiate your lineup today and not play some of the guys that are going to be seen as the obvious plays from the big trade last night, give Moore some consideration.

Anthony Tolliver, DET [vs CLE] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $3.8k)

Detroit just traded away Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley, and their new pieces of Blake Griffin and Willie Reed are not going to play tonight. Tobias Harris was a machine and didn't miss a game all season, so Tolliver's role is not immediately clear. However at this current salary and without Blake Griffin playing he's certainly worth a look tonight. The Cavs are ranked 20th versus starting power forwards and Tolliver just played well against them in their previous meeting but he now should have a larger role.

Centers

DeAndre Jordan, LAC [vs POR] (DK: $6.8k, FD: $7.7k)

Without Blake Griffin and Willie Reed on the court for a full game, Jordan sees +3% usage and +13 fantasy points per 48 mins over his average. Without Blake on the court Jordan was regularly scoring 40-50 fantasy points and looks to return to that form tonight where he and Lou Williams will need to carry the team tonight. Vegas has this as a close 2.5 point game with a high 221 total points.

Jusuf Nurkic, POR [@LAC] (DK: $5.8k, FD: $6k)

Ah yes, the sweet Nurkic's salary has finally dropped enough to make him a viable tournament option again tonight. This game has one of the highest point totals on the night, and Vegas has this as a close 2.5 point game so Nurkic could see some extra court time tonight. The Clippers are ranked 19th versus starting centers but have been worse when playing at home.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [vs MIN] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $5.9k)

Jonas Valanciunas as always remains a tournament option at his current salary level. He's been playing better in slower pace games which he gets tonight versus the Timberwolves who have been very good against centers lately. The matchup is a little scary but Minnesota is on the 2nd game of a back to back, so they should be a little slower tonight. Vegas has this as a high scoring game with 218 total points and the Raptors being favored by 6.5 points, even though they lost to Minneosta without Butler 10 days ago, so it should be a close game tonight.
