Guards

Damian Lillard, POR [vs CHI] (DK: $8.9k, FD: $9.4k)

The Bulls are ranked 26th versus starting point guards allowing 37 fantasy points a game and Jerian Grant is on the bottom end of the leagues defensive rating. This is one of the higher totals of the night at 214 total points with a 7.5 point spread in favor of Portland. The Bulls were playing well but have hit a 4 game losing streak and will be fighting hard to keep this game close and winnable. Lillard is one of the safer point guard options tonight for cash lineups but not the best choice for a tournament as he doesn't have a very high ceiling.

Isaiah Thomas, CLE [vs MIA] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $6.1k)

With Kevin Love off the court Isaiah Thomas is seeing +4% usage and +5 FP per 48 mins. The matchup is not great as Miami is ranked 7th versus starting point guards but Thomas has played fine against them in the past for Boston. Vegas has this as a very tight game with only a 1.5 point spread in favor of Cleveland with 211.5 total points making it a nice game to target tonight. Keep an eye out for news as it's possible Thomas is still not cleared for back to back's - in that case Dwayne Wade would be in for a lot of work (even with Thomas playing, Wade is going to see extra usage tonight as well).

J.R. Smith, CLE [vs MIA] (DK: $3.8k, FD: $3.7k)

JR Smith is another cheap way to take advantage of Kevin Love being out, as he sees +2% usage and +2 FP per 48 mins. The Heat are ranked 24th against starting shooting guards allowing 33 fantasy points a game and they're a bit worse while on the road. You're likely going to want to pair LeBron with these guys if you decide to play them, Thomas makes the most sense with the additional assists.

Forwards

Bobby Portis, CHI [@POR] (DK: $5.9k, FD: $4.5k)

It'll be hard not to play Portis at his current FanDuel price and on DraftKings you'll still have to give it some consideration. Nikola Mirotic is questionable but sounds likely to play and will be a good option tonight as well with Lauri Markkanen out. Portland is 26th versus starting power forwards allowing 34 fantasy points a game and they're on the 2nd game of a back to back. The Bulls need to break their 4 game losing streak and will be trying hard to make that happen tonight.

Jayson Tatum, BOS [vs NY] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $6k)

Tatum is seeing +3.4% usage and +6.9 FP/48 mins with Marcus Smart off the court for the entire game. He had one bad game against the Warriors in a poor matchup for him but bounced back nicely against the Nuggets. He gets a prime matchup tonight versus the Knicks who rank 28th versus starting small forwards, though a blowout is on the table with a 8 point spread in favor of the Celtics.

Frank Kaminsky, CHA [@ATL] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $4k)

Marvin Williams has been ruled out and Frank Kaminsky is going to get the start in his place. This will be Marvin's first missed game this season and as such there is no clear stats to point to but that means 25-30 minutes will be distributed around the team. Kaminsky should be a lock to play 30+ minutes tonight but usage with the other starting 4 guys will be a question mark. Kaminsky has shown he has a high ceiling when he sees playing time and at this salary he's definitely worth a look in both cash and tournaments tonight.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI [@BKN] (DK: $10.4k, FD: $10.5k)

Embiid should be well rested after taking off Monday's back to back game. He hasn't played particularly well after being rested but he also probably hasn't come back to face the worst ranked defense versus starting centers on his returns. Vegas has this game within reach for the nets with a 7 point spread in favor of the 76ers with 211 total points. Embiid has been looking hungry lately and probably is anxious to get back out there after dunking over Westbrook in his last outing.

Julius Randle, LAL [@ORL] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $6.6k)

This is the top game to target according to game totals, sitting at 217 total points with only a 2.5 point spread. It's sounding like Aaron Gordon is doubtful to play today which will benefit Randle as he would face more of Mario Hezonja. This is a rare night where there are decent options for Center at all tiers.

Robin Lopez, CHI [@POR] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $4k)

With Lauri Markkanen off the court, Lopez sees around +2% additional usage and they're going to need his size tonight. Portland is just 24th against starting centers but they play better defense while at home. He put up 36 fantasy points versus Portland earlier this month and played well against them in both games last season. Lopez is cheap enough tonight and should have a floor around 20 with a ceiling of 32 or so.
