Top NBA Plays 1/6 | No Rose For You
Gather all the ex-bachelor contestants you can, the NBA is back with a vengeance with a 9-game Monday slate. Unfortunately, the Pistons are not one of the teams in action so there will be at least one less Rose handed out tonight.
Tonight's DFS Headlines
Pacers @ Hornets
Indiana and Charlotte have split two meetings this season, scoring 242 points combined (OT) the first game and 192 in the second. Malcolm Brogdon continues to sit for the Pacers and will not even travel on the current road trip.
Nets @ Magic
The Nets have been held to 102 points or less in 3 of their last 5 games, a low scoring trend that will likely continue vs. Orlando's #2 scoring defense. Caris Levert returned from thumb surgery for Brooklyn Saturday, but has a scheduled day of rest tonight.
Thunder @ 76ers
Philly is looking vulnerable after dropping 4 in a row and 7 of their last 10. The 76ers have given up 115+ in three straight, but have also had the last 2 nights off to recoup from a recent road trip. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($7.2k) has gone for 44+ fp in 3 of the last 4.
Celtics @ Wizards
Boston put up 140 points on Washington back in November and could be getting Kemba Walker (illness) back in the lineup tonight. The Wizards are finding a lot of scoring alternatives with Bradley Beal (leg soreness) out. Ish Smith ($5.7k) and Troy Brown ($6.1k) combined for 57 points, 17 rebounds, and 11 assists off the bench last game vs. Denver.
Nuggets @ Hawks
Denver has the worst defense in the league over the last 3 games on their current 5-game road stretch. Houston has put up 130 and Washington 128 vs. the Nuggets so far on the trip, which bodes well for an Atlanta team that is #4 in pace on the season.
Jazz @ Pelicans
Lonzo Ball ($6.8k) is like the Cliffhanger game on Price is Right, as his salary keeps climbing. Ball was just $4.5k on Christmas but has put up 55+ fp in two of the last 3. The Jazz have won 10 of 11 though.
Bulls @ Mavericks
The Mavs continue to play without Kristaps Porzingis (knee) and Tim Hardaway, Jr. (hamstring) and Luka Doncic ($12.2k) went for 78fp Saturday in their absence.
Bucks @ Spurs
These two teams combined for 145 points Saturday in Milwaukee and will complete the back end of a home-and-home tonight. Giannis Antetkounmpo ($10.9k) had barely over 4X in the last matchup, but is priced under $11k for the first time since November 21st.
Warriors @ Kings
Draymond Green gets added to the injury report for Golden State tonight and it's become a crap shoot who is going to lead the Warriors every night. Omari Spellman had 23 points in 20 minutes off the bench last game for example.
Guards
Marcus Smart DK $5.2k | FD $4.9k
Marcus Smart rewarded a play in Friday's newsletter with 9X value, scoring 15 points while grabbing 6 rebounds and 9 assists. A lot of people are souring on Smart tonight after a 17fp night on Saturday. That was on the back-to-back though and against a Bulls team that actually ranks 6th in the league in defensive efficiency. Smart has a night of rest and a much better matchup against a Wizards team that just allowed a 52.75 fp night to Jamal Murray on Saturday. Washington has allowed at least 122 points in 5 of their last 9.
Buddy Hield DK $7.2k | FD $6.7k
Buddy Hield needs 43fp to hit 6X at this price - a number he's hit in 3 of the last 4 games. No reason to think Hield can't keep that going tonight vs. a Warriors team missing both D'Angelo Russell and Draymond Green. Golden State ranks 30th in the league, allowing 46.16 fp/48 to the SG position. Hield has 17+ shots in six straight games and grabbed a dozen rebounds last game with Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) out of the lineup. Bogdanovic and Marvin Bagley III will both miss tonight's tilt.
Buddy Hield knows he has to be careful about taking 'F U shots.' #Kings

Eric Bledsoe DK $6k | FD $6k
One thing to note about Eric Bledsoe is that he's still working his way back from a shin injury that cost him 8 games. Bledsoe's minutes have increased in each of his 3 games since returning and he had his best game over that span on Saturday, scoring 21 points and dishing out 6 assists vs. the Spurs. That's the same matchup the Bucks have tonight as the teams complete the home-and-home. San Antonio ranks 24th in the league, giving up 47.64 fp/48 to the PG spot. Bledsoe notched the 4th 36+ fp game in the last 5 vs. San Antonio, a number that would return 6X tonight.

Alpharetta, GA native Malik Beasley ($3k) is in a 🏠Hometown Game🏠 vs. the Hawks tonight. Beasley has hit a ceiling of 25 just twice in the last 2 weeks though.
Ish Smith ($5.7k) launched the ball 24 times in Bradley Beal's absence last game. Does he repeat that tonight vs. a tough Boston defense - in a game that could be a blowout? (WAS +9).
Forwards
Derrick Favors DK $6.9k | FD $6.5k
It's a 🚨Revenge Game🚨 for Derrick Favors who played the last 9 seasons for the Jazz. Favors did not play at Utah back in November so this will be his first matchup against Rudy Gobert and his other old teammates. Favors has double-digit rebounds in 8 straight games which has fueled his 36+ fp in 5 of the last 6. The Utah front court has been getting beaten down by the opposition as of late, with 36fp given up to Ivica Zubac being their low point in the last 4 games.
Maxi Kleber DK $5.9k | FD $5.9k
The fall off game for Maxi Kleber is coming - but likely not tonight vs. a Bulls team ranked dead last defensively vs. the PF position. It's also a Chicago team a bit thin up front as Lauri Markkanen is out with a sprained ankle and Wendell Carter, Jr. is playing through ab and ankle ailments. Kleber has been great with Kristaps Porzingis (knee) and Tim Hardaway, Jr (hamstring) out of the Dallas lineup. The 6-10" Kleber took a dozen three pointers last game vs. Charlotte and has shot 13-25 from downtown the last three. He has gone for 30+ minutes in each of the last three and also has a 14 rebound performance during this stretch.
Domantas Sabonis DK $8.6k | FD $9.3k
Domantas Sabonis falls under the 'bigs vs. Charlotte' must-play tonight. The Pacers PF has a floor of 47 fp over each of his last three games. The Hornets rank 28th defensively vs. the PF position and 30th vs. the C spot. Sabonis has 23+ real points in 2 of the last 3 with Malcolm Brogdon out and has grabbed double digit rebounds in 7 of the last 10.
Sabonis has been consistent with his floor, but has ceiling potential vs. the Charlotte front court.

DeMar DeRozan ($7k) has a 39fp floor in 5 of the last 6 and gets another pace boost vs. Milwaukee in a game with a 226.5 betting total.
Brandon Ingram ($8.4k) hasn't seen a price drop yet, even though he's posted just 34 and 32 fp the last two and faces a tough Utah squad tonight.
Center
Nikola Vucevic DK $8.3k | FD $8.5k
Nikola Vucevic has posted 20/11 and 22/13 in the two games since Aaron Gordon has returned from injury, so those worried about a usage decline need not fret. In total, the Orlando center has gone for 20+ points in 8 of the last 9 and has five double-digit rebounds over that span. The Magic are up against a Brooklyn squad that ranks 26th in the league defensively vs. the C position, allowing 57.94 fp/48. In the last 3 games, the Nets have allowed a 20 rebound night to Gorgui Dieng and 12 to Serge Ibaka.

Good value on Enes Kanter ($5.8k) up against the beleaguered Wizards front court. Kanter has gone for 34+ fp in 4 of the past 5.
