Top NBA Plays 2/10| Turn ON the Lights, the Party's Not Over

It's a nice little Wednesday in the NBA. There are 9-games on the slate with a mix of possible blowouts (LAC@MIN, OKC@LAL), close contests (MIL@PHO, CHA@MIN), and some bad defenses (WSH, BRO). Ownership is going to be all over the map tonight, so let's get digging.

Today's NBA Matchups

Raptors (-5.5) @ Wizards , O/U 234, 7:00 PM ET

Toronto has turned things up a notch on offense, scoring 120+ in four straight. The Raptors should be a great target vs. Washington's 2nd worst defensive efficiency.

Hawks @ Mavs (-3.5), O/U 232.5, 7:30 PM ET

It's the Trae Young / Luka Doncic Draft Day battle (not featuring Sonny Weaver, Jr.). These two teams met up last Wednesday too, with Dallas getting a win behind 27/8/14 from Doncic (64fp). Young had just 41fp in that meeting.

Pacers @ Nets (-1.5) , O/U 235, 8:00 PM ET

Indiana has had the last two nights off and Brooklyn is on the back-to-back following an 11-point loss to the Pistons last night. Harden logged 39 minutes and Irving 35 in the loss to Detroit.

Hornets @ Grizzlies (-4), O/U 224, 8:00 PM ET

Charlotte has rattled off wins in 5 of 7, but Memphis is still favored after losing four straight.

Clippers (-10.5) @ Timberwolves, O/U 223, 8:00 PM ET

We've got 🕯️Blowout Game🕯️potential when the Clips visit Minnesota as double-digit favorites. The T'Wolves have lost 4 of 5, but none by more than 5 points (albeit against some bad teams: Cleveland, OKC, Dallas, San Antonio).

Cavs @ Nuggets (-9.5), O/U 219, 9:00 PM ET

Akeem and the Big Boss Man would be jealous as the Cavs started 6'11 Jarrett Allen and 6'11 Andre Drummond in the frontcourt last game. It still resulted in a 6-point loss to the Suns, however, and Deandre Ayton grabbed 16 boards. That bodes well for another big Jokic game.

Pelicans (-2.5) @ Bulls, O/U 229.5, 9:00 PM ET

New Orleans is on the back to back but in name only after coasting to a 29 point win over Houston last night. Josh Hart was the only Pels' player to log 30+ minutes.

Bucks (-4.5) @ Suns, O/U 226.5, 10:00 PM ET

Milwaukee could be looking ahead to Friday's meeting in Utah, but the Bucks have still rattled off five straight wins all while scoring 120+ in each game. The Suns are clicking with three straight wins too though, and do get the top pace boost of the night.

Thunder @ Lakers (-12), O/U 217.5, 10:00 PM ET

Another 🕯️Blowout Game🕯️ spot as the Lakers are favored by a dozen. These two teams went in OT on Monday, with L.A. pulling out a 7-point win behind 28/14/12 from Lebron James (75fp).

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Luka Doncic DK $10k | FD $9.8k

vs. Atlanta

Doncic is back under $11k after the last two games and had 64 fp vs. the Hawks in Atlanta (27/8/14). Gotta think those numbers can be a little bit better in the rematch at home, where he shoots 11% better from beyond the arc.

Malcolm Brogdon DK $7.4k | FD $7.2k

@Brooklyn

We've got a Malcolm Brogdon price drop right when he's getting ready to face Brooklyn who is also on a back-to-back. That's great timing, as the Nets have allowed at least 40fp to 4 of the past 5 PGs they've faced, including 22 points and 9 assists to Delon Wright last night. Brog Dog needs a big night too, as he's been held under 20 points for three straight.

The Nets are bad vs. the PG and are also on the b2b.

Kevin Huerter DK $5.6k | FD $5k

@ Dallas

Go back to the well with Huerter, who had 21/10/5 vs. the Mavs a week ago? Huerter has picked up his scoring a bit with 16+ in three straight, a trend that should continue as Atlanta plays without Bogdanovic, Hunter, and Rondo.

Lou Williams DK $5.5k | FD $5.8k

@ Minnesota

Lou Williams has been in a perfect lineup the last two games with Patrick Beverley out, scoring 18 and 23 real points. The Clippers should be able to do what they want tonight against Minnesota.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Zion Williamson DK $8.1k | FD $8.4k

@Chicago

New Orleans is on the back-to-back, but last night was a breeze in a 29-point win over Houston. That leaves Zion Williamson in a great spot, as he scored 20 points in 21 minutes vs. the Rockets. The Bulls interior defense is very thin without Carter and Markkanen, and Nikola Vucevic had 43 and 19 last Friday even with Markannen on the floor.

Khris Middleton DK $7.9k | FD $7.6k

at Phoenix

We might look back on this Khris Middleton price and think it's a steal. Jrue Holiday is out for health and safety protocols and Middleton responded with 29/8/12 vs. Denver on Monday. The Suns slow things down and have a top 5 defense, but Milwaukee is transcending matchups right now, and Middleton gets a 17.42 fp boost with Holiday out.

Chris Boucher DK $5.9k | FD $6k

@Washington

Sticking with Chris Boucher on the upswing, as the price is still manageable. The Raptors are scoring at will right now with 120+ in four straight. Boucher has been a big part of that, landing in double figures in scoring and having 9+ rebounds in three straight since his minutes have been increased. The Wizards also have the worst scoring defense in the league.

Miles Bridges DK $5.7k | FD $5.2k

@ Memphis

Charlotte is a strange underdog tonight vs. a Grizzlies team on a 4-game losing streak. It should be a close game, and Miles Bridges has earned floor time with 11/14 and 19/10 the last two games. Memphis also ranks 28th vs. the SF position.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Serge Ibaka DK $5.4k | FD $5.7k

@ Minnesota

Running the same play in Madden over and over gets boring, but you "drop it until they stop it." That's kind of the approach with bigs vs. Minnesota. Serge Ibaka hasn't broken 30fp in the last five games, If Jakob Poeltl can get 40fp vs. the T'Wolves, that gives Ibaka upside.

Alex Len DK $4.4k | FD $5.2k

vs. Toronto

It's not just a 🔪Revenge Game🔪for Alex Len who was waived by Toronto 10 games into the season, it just so happens the Raptors are really bad vs. the C position. Toronto allowed 27 points and 20 rebounds to Jonas Valanciunas, 23& 16 to Clint Capela, and 21 & 18 to Nikola Vucevic over their last four. That puts Len in a great spot as he's scored in double figures in three of the last four.
