Guards

Jimmy Butler, MIN [vs HOU] (DK: $9.3k, FD: $9.7k)

Butler's price has dipped a bit after his disappointing outing on Sunday but look for him to bounce back tonight. This game is slated with 222 total points the highest total of the night and a very tight 2.5 point spread in favor of the Rockets making this one of the top games to target tonight. Jimmy Buckets took 20+ shot attempts in 3 straight games prior to the dud on Sunday where he only took 9 shots. It would be shocking if he took any fewer than 15 shots against the Rockets tonight in this high scoring affair.

Dejounte Murray, SA [@DEN] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $5.5k)

Murray looked fine yesterday against the Jazz indicating that his ankle injury should mostly be behind him. He had a solid start with the starting point guard role but cooled off a bit as he faced some tougher matchups. Tonight he's facing a team he faced 2 weeks ago and played well against already. The Spurs should continue to give their younger guys more of a role as long as they're healthy. Look for Murray's ceiling to be somewhere in the mid 30's moving forward, which makes him a decent buy at his current salary point.

Jordan Clarkson, CLE [@OKC] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $5.9k)

The Cavs finally have someone that can help keep a lead once LeBron is off the floor. Clarkson the closer is back at it, and a perfect fit for the Cavs who have built up their 2nd unit and given more usage to LeBron at the same time. Clarkson took 11 shots in his first game in Cleveland, look for that to continue as he runs that 2nd unit and hand games back to LeBron without losing a beat. A happy LeBron is a lean mean shot making LeBron machine.

Forwards

Ante usage should be ⬆️ tonight, strong consideration

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL [vs ATL] (DK: $10.7, FD: $11.8k)

The Bucks are without John Henson, Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova still which means more usage going to Giannis. With all 3 off the court for the entire game on the season Giannis sees +5% usage. He also has a great history versus Atlanta scoring 57+ fantasy points in 4 of their last 5 meetings going back to last season. The Hawks rank 29th against starting power forwards allowing 35 fantasy points per game.

Paul George, OKC [vs CLE] (DK: $9.9k, FD: $10k)

Westbrook is questionable currently and if he misses this game, Paul George is looking like a must play again. And really why would the Thunder even bother playing Westbrook before the All-Star break now just days away. The Cavs rank dead last versus starting small forwards allowing 30 fantasy points a game. The game is slated with a 222 point total and a close 2 point spread, which makes it likely Westbrook will be missing this one.

Bam Adebayo, MIA [@TOR] (DK: $5k, FD: $5.4k)

It's bam bam time again. Hopefully the Heat have now figured out that it's much more worthwhile giving Bam Adebayo time on the court over James Johnson who looks like a husk of his former self. Bam Bam dropped a 51 fantasy point bomb on the Raptors in early January, and while he likely won't reach that number again should still be in line for a decent workload tonight for as long as Kelly Olynyk remains sidelined.

Centers

Pau Gasol, SA [@DEN] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $6k)

Aldridge remains out, which means Gasol is needed to fill a large void in the team. Yes this is the 2nd leg of a back to back and yes Gregg Popovich could decide to do whatever he feels like so I wouldn't go 100% in on Gasol. However his ceiling is way too high to completely ignore with Aldridge out, so you have to consider rostering him tonight again, even if it doesn't feel great.

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL [@MIL] (DK: $5.3k, FD: $5.8k)

Coach Mike Budenholzer has said that they'll probably stick with what they did last game, which was to finally bench that waste of roster space Miles Plumlee and let Dedmon start and finally see 30+ minutes of action. While he likely won't be dropping 47 fantasy point bombs every night, he's finally setup for a recipe for success with Plumlee firmly where he belongs, sitting on his ass.

Thon Maker, MIL [vs ATL] (DK: $3.7k, FD: $3.7k)

John Henson remains out and Thon Maker should remain in the starting lineup. He's got a good matchup against the Hawks who rank 25th against starting centers, though with Dedmon starting now that's likely a bit too inflated as he's a decent defender. Thon Maker is seeing 25+ minutes of action as a starter and has a ceiling right around 30 points, so if that's all you're looking for he has a chance to get close to that tonight.
