Top NBA Plays 2/15|No Traveling
There's a record breaking snowstorm in the Southwest and in the Midwest area temperatures in the negatives. Safe to say there are no traveling plans, but Lebron James didn't get the memo in this play:
Oh well. It's a 7-game slate tonight so let's see what we can find:
Today's NBA Matchups
Bulls @ Pacers (-5.5) , O/U 226, 7:00 PM ET
The Pacers are 12th in defensive efficiency but have had their share of struggles over the last five games, ranking 25th vs. the PG and 24th vs. the C. Strangely enough Indiana has held three opponents under 104 points over that span.
Rockets (-1.5) @ Wizards, O/U 228.5, 7:00 PM ET
Washington seems to be clamping down on the defensive end, climbing up to 26th in efficiency after holding three of the last four opponents to 109 points or less. It's Houston that has the problem, allowing 120+ in two of the last three. The Wiz are on the b2b though, which means Westbrook could sit.
Hawks (-2) @ Knicks, O/U 218, 7:30 PM ET
The Knicks can't get any respect, home underdogs despite a two game win streak and holding the Rockets to 99 points even on a back-to-back on Saturday. Atlanta has also allowed 120+ in three of the last four.
Sixers @ Jazz (-7.5), O/U 227, 9:00 PM ET
Philadelphia is a bit vulnerable here, wrapping up a 4-game West Coast swing and having lost to Portland and Phoenix the last two. Embiid (back) is also questionable, and the Jazz have rattled off 7 straight.
Lineup notes: Mike Conley is out for Utah.
Cavs @ Warriors (-9), O/U 227, 10:00 PM ET
We could see some firings in Cleveland soon. The Cavs have now dropped their last 7, and are in a perpetual 🕯️Blowout Spot🕯️after having dropped their last three games by a combined 74 points. Cleveland is also on the back to back. Not good.
Lineup Notes: Andre Drummond is out
Heat @ Clippers (-3.5), O/U 217, 10:00 PM ET
Miami had won four straight before falling to Utah on Saturday, but everybody is losing to the Jazz right now. LAC is on the back-to-back but cruised to a 17 point win over the Cavs yesterday.
Lineup Notes: Draymond Green is a GTD. Kawhi Leonard is a GTD.
Nets (-4) @ Kings, O/U 242.5, 10:00 PM ET
Brooklyn had the offense going in a 134-117 win over Golden State on Saturday, but their defense is still suspect though, allowing 120+ in 6 of the last 8. Sacramento is on a back-to-back, allowing 119+ in three straight.
Lineup Notes: Kevin Durant is out
Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables
Donovan Mitchell DK $8k | FD $8.3k
vs. Philadelphia
Mitchell doesn't really seem to have a beef about the Rookie of the Year competition in 2017/18, as he has a 44 fp ceiling in six matchups with Philadelphia. Tonight's a nice 'go off' opportunity though, as the Sixers wrap up a West Coast road trip and have allowed 45+ fp to four straight PGs. No Mike Conley for Utah either.
Lou Williams DK $6.4k | FD $6.6k
vs. Miami
Williams is a play if Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both sit, which gives him a 6% usage and 13 fp boost. That was the case yesterday when Williams took a team high 22 shots, scoring 30 points and dishing out 10 assists. Ownership should be low on the b2b and against Miami.
TJ McConnell DK $5.2k | FD $5.9k
vs. Chicago
One more TJ McConnell night? He's gone for 30+ fp in three of the last five, He's got 12+ assists in three of the last six, and plays a Bulls team that ranks 24th vs. the PG position.
TJ McConnell really top 5 in the league in steals purely off of effort on inbounds passes while only playing 20min a game.

Dylan Windler DK $3.9k | FD $4.1k
@ Golden State
Mr. Blowout gets another chance tonight with Cleveland visiting the Warriors while also on the back to back. Windler had a disappointing 5/2/4 line last night but posted 11 & 8 and 12 &10 in two games prior. Windler could see minutes even earlier tonight with the Cavs wrapping up a 5-game West Coast swing.
Tonight's SF / PF Notables
Domantas Sabonis DK $9.1k | FD $9.6k
vs. Chicago
The Bulls have played better vs. PFs lately, but they've also had two matchups with Gary Clark and one with Nicolas Batum. Chicago has also allowed 29 points to Zion Williams and 19/10 to Rui Hachimura so there's potential for Sabonis tonight. The Indiana big man has 18+ in 3 of the last 4 and has grabbed 8+ rebounds in four straight.
Julius Randle DK $8.7k | FD $8.6k
vs. Atlanta
The Hawks rank 10th defensively vs. the PF spot, but Julius Randle has already transcended that matchup once this season with 28/17/9 on January 4th. That continues from 33/11 and 35/18 in the last two meetings of last season.
Tobias Harris DK $7.3k | FD $7.4k
@ Utah
The Jazz have the 2nd best defense in the league, but they've struggled a bit vs. the PF spot giving up 25/10 to Gordon Hayward, 20/9 to Domantas Sabonis, 29/15 to Giannis, and a double digit rebound game to Kelly Olynyk over the last 10 days. Harris gets a 6% usage and 11+ fp boost if Embiid can't go as well.
Kelly Oubre, Jr. DK $6.5k | FD $6.7k
vs. Cleveland
Golden State should have no problem handling the Cavs who are on 0 days rest. Oubre, Jr. can get his in a hurry here, and he's starting to fill the stat sheet with 10+ rebounds in three straight. Oubre had 61 fp in a 31-point win over Dallas on February 4th.
Tonight's Center Position Notables
Clint Capela DK $7.4k | FD $7.8k
@ New York
It's a weird center slate with Embiid a GTD with back issues. Clint Capela has upside with Mitchell Robinson being out for a few weeks for the Knicks. New York had ranked 28th vs. the C position anyways and is now shorthanded against Capela who has a double double in three of the last four.
Demarcus Cousins DK $6.2k | FD $6.1k
@ Washington
It seems like so long ago that Cousins had his upside games at the end of January, but one of those came against the Wizards when he scored 19 points and grabbed 11 boards (50fp). Cousins has a double-double in two straight though, and Washington ranks 27th vs. the C spot.
