Top NBA Plays 2/2| Courtside Karen

Fans are starting to trickle back into NBA Stadiums, so it will hopefully be time to start considering home and away boosts in the near future. Lebron James got into a little skirmish with a fan last night so that time might be sooner rather than later.

There's a 6-game slate tonight headlined by the Clippers visiting the Nets and Boston traveling to Golden State for the nationally televised games. It might be better to approach this as a 5-gamer though because Detroit is bordering on being below the 8-player minimum in their visit to Denver.

Today's NBA Matchups

Raptors (-6) @ Magic , O/U 215, 7:00 PM ET

Orlando is hoping for a better February, after going just 4-12 in January. The degree of difficulty goes up a bit as it looks like the team will be without Aaron Gordon (ankle) for 4-6 weeks. Toronto won this matchup 115-102 on Sunday.

Clippers @ Nets, O/U OFF, 7:30 PM ET

LAC has won 10 of 11 and looks like a great target vs. a Nets team that has allowed 125+ in 4 of the last 5.

Trail Blazers @ Wizards (-2) , O/U 240, 8:00 PM ET

Portland is on the back-to-back but kind of in name only as their 28 point loss in Milwaukee last night was a glorified scrimmage. Damian Lillard logged only 27 minutes in that tilt so should be fairly fresh vs. a Wizards team allowing the most points in the NBA.

Grizzlies @ Pacers (-6), O/U 221, 8:00 PM ET

Memphis looked great beating the Spurs by 31 last night, and the blowout allowed them to use depth in preparation for the back to back as 9 of the 10 players who scored tallied double figures.

Pistons @ Jazz (-12), O/U OFF,10:00 PM ET

This one could be a postpone-er as somebody on the Pistons tested positive for COVID causing last night's game with Denver to be canceled. If they do play, things could get ugly vs. a shorthanded Detroit squad. This game being late doesn't help things either so I'd avoid.

Celtics (-2.5) @ Warriors, O/U 226, 10:00 PM ET

The C's begin life without Marcus Smart (calf) tonight, a stalwart defender that could've come in handy vs. Steph Curry.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Damian Lillard DK $10.7k | FD $10.2k

@ Washington

In on the possible 🍔70 Burger🍔for Damian Lillard up against Westbrook and Beal. Contrary to popular belief, Lillard said he doesn't have a beef with Russ and more of mutual respect. In his last two games vs. Houston last season, Lillard posted lines of 21/9/8 and 36/10/11 meaning he has the ball a lot vs. Westbrook. Those two games were with McCollum in the lineup too.

Evan Fournier DK $6.3k | FD $6.4k

vs. Toronto

Evan Fournier has had consecutive down nights, but they were on inordinately bad shooting outings going 3-13 and 2-12. Toronto did a number on Fournier on Sunday, but he's worth going back to the well thanks to an 11.51 fp boost with Aaron Gordon out of the lineup.

Reggie Jackson DK $5.1k | FD $5.5k

@ Brooklyn

It's going to be all about the star power in this nationally televised game between the Clippers and Nets, but Reggie Jackson has value starting in place of Patrick Beverley. Jackson has gone for 30+ fp in three of the last four, and Brooklyn has allowed 36+ fp to four straight PGs.

There's a lot to like about Reg here.

De'Anthony Melton DK $4.5k | FD $4.8

@ Indiana

There aren't many guys under $5k who launch as much as De'Anthony Melton, putting up 13+ shots in Memphis' two games since returning from a long layoff. Those were two blowout wins and Indiana should put up more of a fight, but the Griz are still shorthanded so the upside is there.

Anfernee Simons DK $4.3k | FD $3.3k

@Washington

Insane FD price for Simons, who has hit nearly 10X that in two of the last four games. Portland is on the back to back, but they also play Washington in a game with a betting total in the 240s.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Jaylen Brown DK $7.8k | FD $8.7k

@Golden State

Brown returns to the West Coast where he played a year of college ball for Cal. Brown had 43 and 32 fp in two matchups vs. Golden State last season, but gets a play with the Marcus Smart injury and the ensuing +5.43% usage and +14.13 fp increase.

Smart was playing 32 mpg.

Daniel Theis DK $5k | FD $4.5k

@Golden State

Golden State is a little thin upfront right now, with James Wiseman out and Draymond Green / Eric Paschall both being a GTD. That puts Daniel Theis in a great spot as he's gone for 28+ fp in 4 of the last 6.

Marcus Morris DK $4.7k | FD $4.6

@Brooklyn

The spread is only LAC -1.5, but any chance the Clips serve up a blowout here vs. a Nets team that gave up 149 points to Washington in regulation on Sunday? LAC heads to Cleveland tomorrow and hosts Boston on Friday, meaning load management for Leonard and George would be smart. Enter Morris, who can still get his even in a close game as he's gone for 30+fp in three of the last four vs. the Nets.

Dwayne Bacon DK $3.8k | FD $4k

vs. Toronto

Not a bad price for the 🥓Baconater🥓who at the very least has put up 20+ fp in 5 of the last 6. There's a chance for a slight boost tonight as Bacon gets a 2% usage increase with Aaron Gordon out of the lineup.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Nikola Vucevic DK $8.2k | FD $8.8k

vs. Toronto

Vucevic has been priced as high as $10.2k this season, so you almost have to buy in at this price, don't you? He gets a 3.9% usage increase with Aaron Gordon out of the lineup, and although he had just 15 points vs. Toronto on Sunday, he did grab 14 boards.

Enes Kanter DK $6.9k | FD $7k

@ Washington

Kanter is at the very least going to get his rebounds this game as the Wizards have allowed 18 to Steven Adams, 14 to Clint Capela, and 8 to Deandre Jordan (in 18 minutes) at the C position the last three. Kanter has posted four straight double-doubles, and grabbed 23 boards the last time Portland played on the b2b.
