Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC [@GS] (DK: $11.5k, FD: $11.8k)

These are the games that Westbrook plays his hardest, though ultimately usually ends up losing anyhow - if only he put that amount of effort into more winnable games. It's likely how a chess savant would be bored playing against a mediocre opponent, regardless when the Thunder are underdogs Russ scores around 10 more fantasy points per game. He went off for 67 fantasy points against Golden State earlier in the season, and as long as the Thunder don't get blown out too quickly Westbrook will be doing his damnedest to keep it a close game.

Josh Hart, LAL [vs PHO] (DK: $4.7k, FD: $5k)

It's hard to trust anything the Lakers are doing, but with Hart dropping games of 41 and 36 fantasy points in a row, it's hard to ignore him tonight in a matchup that's too good to be true. My Hart is screaming play this guy, but my brain is screaming 'It's a traaaapp'. Proceed and play with caution, and mostly based on whether he ends up getting the start again tonight. The Suns are without Devin Booker so Ulis should be the starting point guard, giving Hart a great matchup in a high scoring game - if he gets the start.

Tyler Ulis, PHO [@LAL] (DK: $4.2k, FD: $3.7k)

The Suns are going to be without Devin Booker tonight and without him in the game Ulis is seeing +7.8% usage and +16FP/48 mins over the last month. The Lakers are ranked dead last versus starting point guards allowing 40 fantasy points a game. This is slated to be one of the higher scoring games of the night at 220 total points but the Lakers are favored by 8 points. Given the limited options available to the Suns, Josh Gray and Danuel House should also get some backup minutes behind Ulis tonight.

Forwards

Paul George, OKC [@GS] (DK: $7.9k, FD: $8k)

He's just too cheap on both sites to not consider playing tonight in the highest scoring game of the slate. Paul George has been playing well in high scoring games, scoring 5 fantasy points per game more than his average. The Warriors rank 11th versus starting small forwards but matchups typically go out the window in high scoring contests like these. As long as the game doesn't get out of hand early, both Westbrook and George are going to be busy tonight.

JaMychal Green, MEM [@ATL] (DK: $4.9k, FD: $4.9k)

The Grizzlies are still dealing with multiple injury problems, and Tyreke Evans is out until the trade deadline passes. At Green's salary he kind of makes for a tournament and a cash play tonight, as his floor is probably 20+ fantasy points, but he's shown a ceiling of 40+ fantasy points as well, especially with all of the injuries they're dealing with, Green's usage could be up tonight now that his ankle injury seems behind him.

Mario Hezonja, ORL [vs CLE] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $5k)

Aaron Gordon is questionable to play, but continues to be ruled out quickly indicating he may not be that close to returning yet. Hezonja's salary remains low and he will remain a good option until Aaron Gordon returns. He had a ceiling in the 40's when Speights wasn't splitting time with him in this role to fill Gordon's shoes, but now that ceiling is more around what he did last night in the high 30's. This game has a 222.5 point total with the Cavs being favored by 6.5 who are ranked 27th against starting power forwards allowing 33 fantasy points per game.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI [vs WAS] (DK: $9.5k, FD: $10.1k)

Center is filled with overpriced options tonight, so you'll need to decide if you want to pay up for someone like Embiid or just punt the position. Joel Embiid is sitting on 3 days of rest going into tonight to face the beat up Washington Wizards who he scored 59 fantasy points the last time they faced off. The Wizards defense has been significantly worse while they're on the road and when they're the underdog.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [vs BOS] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $6.9k)

Center is a tough spot tonight, with most of them being over priced and Valanciunas is overpriced on FanDuel as well. He's played 24+ minutes in 7 straight games now, which has been plenty for him to hit his ceiling in the past. He plays well in these tough pace-down games and will likely go under-owned since he's playing against Boston. He remains a tournament play as his ceiling is in the 40's, even in a tough matchup.

Channing Frye, CLE [@ORL] (DK: $4.1k, FD: $4.3k)

If you're going to punt the position, Frye is a decent choice as he has seen 18-21 minutes each game since Love went down with injury. He's averaging over a fantasy point per minute when he's on the court over that time, so all he needs to get is a few extra minutes tonight and he could easily pay off as a cheap center punt tonight.
