Top NBA Plays 2/8 | Take A Deep Breath 💨

Tastefully curated M-F by LineStar fantasy experts.

Last night the Pacers and Pelicans game was unfortunately postponed due to a leaky roof. It's very rare for an NBA game to be postponed but it does happen, as it did last year with a leaky roof as well. It's one of those annoying things that's completely out of anyone's control. All you can do is knock the dirt off from the tumble, take a deep breath and get back up again.

Guards

Stephen Curry, GS [vs DAL] (DK: $9.9k, FD: $9.8k)

Golden State has fallen to the injury bug again, they have 4 guys questionable to play tonight including Durant and Draymond Green (probable). They're also facing a team with only 17 wins, so if they are going to rest some guys, tonight would be the night to do it. Curry has 2 games against Dallas this year, in both he scored over 50 fantasy points. Dallas ranks 26th against starting point guards and if Curry gets to face them without Durant or Green in the lineup, he'll be in line for a nice game.

Nicolas Batum, CHA [@POR] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $6.7k)

Batum has a solid history while facing Portland going back to 2014. Marvin is back but he may be a little limited, or outright traded before the game tonight. Portland ranks 21st against starting shooting guards allowing 32 fantasy points a game and slightly more when they're at home. This game has a 213.5 point total and only a 4 point spread in favor of Portland.

Josh Hart, LAL [vs OKC] (DK: $5.5k, FD: $6.3k)

He has had 3 straight games with 36-41 fantasy points, as long as Lonzo Ball remains out it looks like they've found their guy to step up. It's a tougher matchup tonight against the Thunder and Russell Westbrook so if you're looking to exit the train before the derailment, it might be at this stop. However, Westbrook is questionable to play tonight with an ankle injury and if he doesn't play then Hart will be very interesting.

Forwards

Ibaka with a solid matchup tonight.

Michael Beasley, NY [@TOR] (DK: $6.3k, FD: $6.2k)

Be sure to play this game carefully, with a 14 point spread this game could get out of hand quickly. The Knicks have called up Luke Kornet and Isaiah Hicks to cover some garbage time if it comes to it tonight, so it's not like they're playing with a short bench tonight. That being said, Beasley is a fantasy point machine when he gets to play 30+ minutes with a significant role, which he will surely have tonight without Porzingis or Kanter.

Serge Ibaka, TOR [vs NY] (DK: $5.4k, FD: $5k)

The Serge seems to be making his living stat stuffing in easy games lately, as he's scoring 32 fantasy points per game in blowouts. Which this game looks to be heading towards with it's 14 point spread. The Knicks already are ranked dead last against starting power forwards and now they lost Kanter and Porzingis so there won't be much out there to stop Ibaka tonight. He's been horrible lately and will likely be low owned because of that, but he's worth a shot in a tournament tonight.

Mario Hezonja, ORL [vs ATL] (DK: $5.3k, FD: $5.4k)

As long as Aaron Gordon remains out, keep throwing Hezonja out there for his potential high ceiling. Jonathon Simmons is questionable tonight with an ankle injury, which would help Hezonja as well. Atlanta ranks 24th against starting power forwards allowing 32 fantasy points a game and they're a bit worse while on the road. With a 213 point total and a close 3 point spread in favor of the Magic, this game is a decent target tonight.

Centers

Dwight Howard, CHA [@POR] (DK: $8.3k, FD: $8.2k)

Howard is in a tier to himself at center tonight and gets a slight price drop to go along with it. He's been trending down a bit over the last week, but his ceiling is still in the 50's and at this salary and a smaller slate he could earn his money tonight. He'll likely be somewhat lower owned because of the focus on O'Quinn tonight, so if you're looking to fade O'Quinn, then Howard could be a good person to pay up for.

Julius Randle, LAL [vs OKC] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $7.3k)

This is looking like one of the top games to target with a large 217 point total and only a 3 point spread in favor of the Thunder. Randle has been scoring roughly a fantasy point per minute when facing the Thunder this season, and he's been averaging around 30 minutes a game recently. It's not the best matchup but Center as usual is a tough position to fill tonight.

Kyle O'Quinn, NYK [@TOR] (DK: $4.4k, FD: $4k)

Just a fair warning if you've never had to the pleasure of playing O'Quinn before, he has a propensity to let you down when it looks like he's a sure thing. He does also sometimes show up and have monster games, so it's impossible to ignore him after the Knicks just lost Porzingis and Kanter in their last game and traded away Willy Hernangomez. There's not much else to say, other than it's a tough matchup and the Knicks are 14 point underdogs, so proceed with caution.
