The NBA decided we better take things easy getting back into hoops DFS after being off since last Thursday. They've given us 2 games, but hey that's 2 more than we've had the last five days so we will take it and like it.

Today's NBA Matchups

Wizards @ Grizzlies -3.5 , O/U 237, 8:00 PM ET

Washington will take the all-star break because they are no spring chickens, but the Wizards hope the time didn't kill their momentum of winning 7 of the last 10. The Grizzlies are just too balanced, but on a 2-game slate that's the play against Washington's #1 pace and 4th worst defense.

Spurs @ Mavs (-4), O/U 237, 7:00 PM ET

Dallas snuck into the 8 seed in the West right before the all-star break thanks to a 3-game win streak. The Spurs stayed afloat as well, battling through a depleted roster from COVID quarantines to sit in the 7 seed. San Antonio has everybody back now.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Russell Westbrook DK $10.1k | FD $9.8k

@ Memphis

FD moved Doncic to SF so Russell Westbrook becomes the clear cut best PG. He's only hit 6X this price twice in the last six games, but is fresh tonight after the break and had 23 points and 15 assists (58fp) two games ago.

Derrick White DK $5k | FD $5.6

@Dallas

The great unknown - might as well punt. Derrick White hasn't played since February 14th due to COVID protocols so he's rested and anxious (and perhaps rusty). White was starting and had 44fp in his last game so, but who knows his role tonight.

Justise Winslow DK $3.9k | FD $4.8k

vs. Washington

FD really has Winslow on the climb, so something may be coming. He's got a matchup with the Wizards' #1 pace and 4th worst defense and is coming off a nice long break allowing even more time to get fully healthy. Winslow has a 30 and a 23 fp over the last three games.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Luka Doncic DK $10.7k | FD $11k

vs. Memphis

FD has Luka Doncic as an SF now, but he's still the spend up play on this 2-game slate with Beal or Westbrook being the other options. Doncic was in the perfect lineup all four times he played the Spurs last season and had 36/9/11 in San Antonio on January 22nd.

Dillon Brooks DK $5.4k | FD $5.6k

vs. Washington

At the very least Dillon Brooks has potential, shooting the ball an average of 20 times the last two games before the break. Good things came from the launching for a change as well, as he had 51fp vs. Milwaukee last Thursday and 31vs. these Wizards the game before that.

Trey Lyles DK $4.1k | FD $4.7

@ Dallas

Trey Lyles stepped up when the Spurs were depleted, going for double digit real points in four straight including 33fp the last two games. You'd think that would earn him continued playing time even with Rudy Gay and LaMarcus Aldridge back but this is Popovich.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Jonas Valanciunas DK $7.1k | FD $7k

vs. Washington

The C position is very light tonight so much so that Jonas Valanciunas is the highest priced option on FD at just $7k. The Grizzlies and Wizards played on March 2nd and Valanciunas had 11 points and 16 rebounds (32 fp). Get what you can get at C tonight.
