Top NBA Plays 3/11| Now We're Cooking With Gas

The NBA is officially 'officially' back with tonight's whopper of an 11-game slate. Last night's two-fer tune-up was nice, but it's time to see what the big menu has in store. Everybody is fresh (except Dallas on the b2b), somewhat healthy, and anxious to get after it - DFS players too (well, some aren't fresh or healthy but you get the picture).

Today's NBA Matchups

Pistons @ Hornets (-4) , O/U 225.5, 7:00 PM ET

The Pistons are officially Blake Griffin-free, but they had been for a couple of weeks. The long layoff has Charlotte relatively healthy, as Devonte Graham and PJ Washington are expected back in the lineup.

Celtics @ Nets (-2.5), O/U 234.5, 7:30 PM ET

Boston is expected to get Marcus Smart back, meaning they'll have close to a full lineup for one of the few times this season. Brooklyn is still without Kevin Durant even after the week long layoff.

Hawks @ Raptors (+3), O/U 225.5, 7:30 PM ET

Even after a week off, Toronto still has players in COVID protocol and thus are home underdogs tonight. The Raptors gave up 129 and 132 points in their two games prior to the break meaning Atlanta should be a target.

Magic @ Heat (-8), O/U 214, 8:00 PM ET

Orlando lost five straight going into the break, giving up 120+ in three of those games. Bam Adebayo is out with a knee injury for Miami.

Sixers @ Bulls (-4), O/U 227, 8:00 PM ET

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons had to miss the all-star festivities because of COVID tracing, and will be out a bit. That makes the Bulls the favorites and Tobias Harris largely owned.

Knicks @ Bucks (-11), O/U 222.5, 8:00 PM ET

New York gets the best pace boost of the night, and although the Bucks are favored by double digits it's hard to imagine a blowout. The Knicks even beat Milwaukee by 20 way back in December.

Timberwolves @ Pelicans (-8), O/U 239, 8:00 PM ET

The Pelicans are a nice target here as Minnesota allowed 135 points in their last game before the break. The T'Wolves have given up 128+ in 4 of their last 5.

Mavericks (-5.5) @ Thunder, O/U 219, 9:00 PM ET

Dallas gets a back to back right out of the chute to kick off the second half after their 115-104 win over the Spurs last night. Doncic had 39 minutes and Porzingis 34, does that affect tonight? Does it matter in this low scoring game?

Warriors @ Clippers (-7), O/U 230.5, 10:00 PM ET

Coming off a 7-day break might be the only time we know who is going to play for the Clippers. These teams split back in January, with Steph Curry going for 38 points and 11 assists in the second game.

Suns (-4.5) @ Trail Blazers, O/U 227, 10:00 PM ET

Phoenix rode a 4-game win streak into the all-star break, really clamping down on defense, holding 3 of the last 4 opponents under 100 points.

Rockets @ Kings (-4.5), O/U 228.5, 10:00 PM ET

Can you really target a Houston team that has lost 13 straight? The Kings defense might be that bad after allowing 120+ in 7 of the last 8.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

John Wall DK $8.2k | FD $8.2k

@Sacramento

Oladipo or John Wall tonight because you have to play somebody vs. that Kings defense. Sacramento has been doing a good job of shutting down the SG position lately but has allowed 46+ to three straight PGs.

Chris Paul DK $7.8k | FD $7.5k

@ Portland

Chris Paul only had 20fp vs. Portland last month, but that came as the Suns were winning by 32. PGs are torching the Trail Blazers right now (49+ fp in 4 of 5), and Paul also gets a +23 boost when the 35-year-old is well rested.

Eric Bledsoe DK $5.6k | FD $5.4k

vs. Minnesota

Every position vs. Minnesota is a thing. The Timberwolves have given up 40fp to four straight SGs, and Bledsoe torched the Wolves for 28 points on January 23rd (42fp) and won't have JJ Redick (heel) to steal minutes tonight.

Immanuel Quickley DK $5.3k | FD $4.8k

@ Milwaukee

You either get one or you don't with this guy who has a 36, a 41, and a 5fp night over his last five. This would be the night, in a fast paced game with Milwaukee and Derrick Rose out.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Julius Randle DK $9.8k | FD $9.4k

@ Milwaukee

The Knicks get the best pace boost of the night and Julius Randle dominated Milwaukee for 29 points and 14 rebounds when they meet in late December. That when the Knicks had a healthy Mitchell Robinson and Randle's 61fp came in a blowout win...by New York!

Tobias Harris DK $8.1k | FD $6.9k

@ Chicago

There's value on a lot of different Philadelphia players tonight vs. Chicago but it's Tobias Harris that gets the best Ben Simmons/Joel Embiid absent boost with 8.37% more usage and over 16fp more. The Bulls struggle vs. bigs, and gave up a 15 rebound game to Michael Porter, Jr. shortly before the all-star break.

Draymond Green DK $7.3k | FD $7.4

@ Clippers

The week was great for Draymond Green, who had been trying to work through an ankle injury. He's back fresh, ready to continue a stretch that includes 11+ assists in four straight games he was healthy.

Marvin Bagley III DK $6.6k | FD $6.6

vs. Houston

Hassan Whiteside and to a lesser extent Jabari Parker (probable) remaining on the COVID list opens up an opportunity for Marvin Bagley tonight. He plays a Rockets team that is very short up front and was playing well making the perfect lineup in two of the last three.

Thad Young DK $5.7k | FD $6.6

vs. Philadelphia

Thad Young has hovered around 6X of this DK price drop in six of the last eight games. He plays a Sixers squad missing Embiid and Simmons tonight.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Nikola Vucevic DK $10.4k | FD $9.9k

@Miami

With Bam Adebayo out with a knee injury and Meyers Leonard using slurs on video game streams, the Heat are pretty thin in the frontcourt. That leaves Kelly Olynyk and 6'8" Precious Achiuwa left to guard Vucevic, who has taken 20+ shots in eight straight games.

Dwight Howard DK $5.3k | FD $3.8k

@Chicago

Great FD price for Howard, stepping into the starting lineup for Embiid against a Bulls team that ranks 28th vs. the C position. Embiid had 50 points and 17 rebounds vs. Chicago last month so the potential is there.
